We've come to a point where movies are so saturated and bright in lighting: It's easily mistaken for AI Not saying the lighting is a bad thing, But it's just that it's probably a bit sad this film didn't get that audience it needed for some people thinking it really was AI from the way it looks which is probably why it barely got recognized and maybe why some of us are just finding out about the film itself
I currently work as a 3D animator in Spain’s animation industry, and several of my coworker friends worked on this. Haven’t seen it myself yet, but they seemed happy with it and the work they did. The director’s son was the inspiration for the non-verbal kid in the film, who suffered the same disease. His son sadly succumbed to it a few years ago at the age of 16 😢 Before he made this film, he did an award-winning short that also featured a similar child character called “Cuerdas”.
I hope I was not the only one who noticed, the non-verbal kid is the same non-verbal kid from the animated short "Cuerdas" that has also the director of the Buffalo Kids movie, pedro solis garcia
@@rainorld2493 I hope so, sad it was so badly marketed. This is the first time i'ver seen or heard about this movie. I hope they adapted it well, i may give it a watch aswell. The short is truly touching.
I actually have 2 fun facts about “Buffalo Kids”: 1. It’s animated by 4 Cats Pictures in Spain, who also animated the 2023 film “Mummies”. 2. It’s funded by Cinema Management Group, who also funded all 3 of Triggerfish Animation Studios’ movies (Zambezia, Khumba, and Seal Team), as well as funding the 2016 “Ratchet & Clank” movie (and were also originally gonna fund the cancelled “Sly Cooper” movie). I honestly don’t know how to feel about this.😞
This movie would have probably been more popular if it was more like the Oregon Trail (dysentery and all) Though to be serious, this movie does sound very sweet, I'll have to watch it myself.
I remember seeing this when I took a vacation to spain and I couldnt find it anywhere else, I tried looking through youtube, twitter, etc but just didn't find it
They look more like stock Blender character models which mimics the generic soft Pixar/Disney look, because...well...every shortcut you can on a budget.
I remember how it was advertised for a couple of months with the voice of the actor who played Marat in "The Boy's word", which became very popular at the end of 2023 among young people, although the series itself is designed for adults, especially because of the bloody violence and vocabulary.
Warner Bros.' China division also helped with distributing anime in Southeast Asia. They released the likes of: - Suzume - The Tunnel to Summer, The Exit of Goodbyes - City Hunter: The Movie: Angel Dust - The Boy and the Heron - SPY x FAMILY Code: White - Look Back - The Colors Within
@soramembrino82 AI is being used used by companies that supply hospitals with supplies, like J&J, to speed up medical research and improve patient outcomes.
I think you mentioned something about this animation style dying due to AI. Well, considering that it was the reason why 2D is dead in the first place, and the Pixar CGI style is over saturated, I feel like it's a matter of time. We might see a boom of experimental indie animation while bigger studios stick to Pixar style made by AI. And Pixar either has to adapt or they'd be accused of making movies with AI.
Damn, I was really liking this movie (I'm autistic and disability rep means so much to me!) until it got to the "disabled character dreams he can dance" bit. "Glee" did that, and spoiler alert, it aged poorly. Oh well... one step forward, two steps back, as always....
Bro it was you that had a friend who thinks the five nights at Freddy’s movie was bad, well guess what there’s going to be a second one based on five nights at Freddy’s 2 that will probably be scarer than the last one and there is a lot of merch from the first movie sooooo yeah, if you say that the second one is terrible then look out or Withered chica will kick your friends ass.

Thank god I wasn't the only one noticing it
I was about to say that! Is it like a long film adaptation of the short i wonder?
@@catflyxovo maybe a tribute in a way to the original short? with a bigger budget, and more change of people around the world to watch it too

nah the Teen Titans already did that.
The problem is it looks like a cheap mobile game ad
Yeah you’re right
0:44 The kid on a wheelchair reminds me a lot to the one from the Spanish CG animated short “Strings”… maybe it’s from the same creators!
This thing is going to one day be remembered as a notable footnote in filmmaking history

DOWN WITH AI
You would be a fool to say that
And the 50 people that liked this post are fools.
GRAB YOUR TORCH MOUNT YOUR HORSE 🔥🪓⚒️
Well thanks for giving me someone to blame when AI turns on us
@@Godzillahistoryfan34M1 ABRAMS!! WHY ARE YOU HERE YOUR IN TROUBLE
I know why would you think it would be AI
Because for some reason they have this wholesome , Pixar, generic, Disney, glossy style
Unlike white settlers in the early 1800's, I am first.
It sounds like a pretty wholesome kids movie.
(Did they mention at all that those are bison and not buffalo? Very common misconception. It's ok if they didn't, but it's just me being nitpicky.)
Only only thing is that buffaloes are actually super dangerous to be around 🤣🤣🤣 But it looks very cute and I like the inclusivity there

Literally came out of the cinema an hour ago and saw a poster for this film on the wall. I immediately thought “that looks like ai.”
I remember how it was advertised for a couple of months with the voice of the actor who played Marat in "The Boy's word", which became very popular at the end of 2023 among young people, although the series itself is designed for adults, especially because of the bloody violence and vocabulary.
This is from the same director as Mummies
The movie takes place in the early 20th century, not the 19th.
And Grand Central Terminal didn't exist in 1886
when i saw the poster, my first thought was "an animated Secret Garden?" lol
I can see AI was used as a reference in design characters.
NOT A FILM WITH TRAINS MADE BY AI
**rage noises**

What about the Warner Sister Dot?

AI is stupid
Ai can’t make art
No, it's not. There are many task it can do that a human NEVER could even dream of doing. And this is only the beginning
@@GamingWithNikolas a beginning to a nightmare of unemployment and soulless movies
@soramembrino82 AI is being used used by companies that supply hospitals with supplies, like J&J, to speed up medical research and improve patient outcomes.
@@GamingWithNikolas Ai is bad. Large corporations want to replace artists with AI. And AI can’t make art.
Side note: Why are terrible human writers let off the hook so easily by the blame being shifted to AI that isn't even in the bad movies?

I'm pretty sure that Hollywood has been trying to get rid of 2D animation since the 90's. It had nothing to do with AI.
Honestly thats marketing genius, basically forcing people to google to see if it's real

day 14 of every time dazz uploads asking him to review "Meet the robinsons"
And they also said they were planning to make third one too.
Well AI is based on others... so this is simply the most common style.
I couldn't watch this when it came out but now I hope I would have.
Get ready for Train of Thoughts to review the trains from this movie
Please take a look at “Flow” it’s something like wild robot!
AI is CRAPPY AF and surprisingly good at the same time
Dazz reviews you should do a review on this horrible new film called 200% percent wolf its a sequel of 100% wolf and its just horrendous
Oh god the eyes
Never heard of this movie till now, looks fire, I’ll watch it 😎😎.
