Hi guys~! In today's video I'm partnering with Naturals by Watsons to talk about self care. 🤎 While it may not seem like it, the past months have also been tough for me. I had to make some difficult decisions most especially in terms of career. For this @/titatalks session, I'll share with you how I try to continuously work on self care amid the challenges.
Thank you for sharing about your recent career decision, Ms Thea. Opo mahirap nang magpadalus-dalos na magresign kaagad na walang backup plan. I hope you could make a video about your second undergrad degree. Like the kind of program you are in, the university, school fees, mode of study-fully online? etc. I wanted to get a second degree on a "course" that I prefer. would like to know if I could fastrack it as well. Matapos ko ng 1 - 1/2 years lang, if I could have some units credited. Also, do you think valuable pa ang MBA nowadays? Sorry po, haba ng comment ko. Thanks for reading. Love your channel 💕😍
Sobrang tamang tama yung “It was actually when I realized that what used to excite me about my work started to feel like such a big burden” 🥺 Sending huuuuugs! 🤗
Nafeel ko yung excitement mo for what lies ahead and it was just nice to hear the thought process behind your decision. Congrats ulit Thea!! (not sure if yun yung correct greeting for this but ayun haha) 😄✨❤️
I'm watching this because I am contemplating if I am going to leave my 6 digits salary job. Honestly I feel like I just push myself for the salary but now slowly I am trying to build my finances better so I can also have options soon. I am the breadwinner so it really makes it hard to make this decision for me. Pray that I will have wisdom din gaya sayo. I am so tired and unmotivated always working overtime but my job is a blessing madami lng tlga work.
To share din, I used to love my work. I was the bibbo employee who’d volunteer to do process improvements na di naman required ng company 😂 But the sad thing about corpo world is that if they see that you can handle it, mas bubuhusan ka ng work. BUT the salary di naman magdodouble 😅 when you’re young di mo sya mararamdaman, pero eventually mabuburn out ka din. I think what helped was when I realised I didn’t see corpo as my long term plan, I started to be “open minded” (huhu sorry sounds scam) to opportunities. When i entertained the thought of doing freelance 2 years ago, mas naexplore yung supplemental income side and dumagsa rin opportunities kasi nakikita ko na sila. I hope rin that you find an income replacement that you’d enjoy doing. Maybe not right away, but eventually. ❤️
Hi ms. Thea, thank you for sharing this video.. Ito yung mga kailangn ko ngaun. Something that will motivates me, self and professional growth. To be honest, i always think of quiting on my job. Toxic s trabaho, toxic s kasama sa trabaho. Plus hnd pa ako motivated magtrabaho for some reason. Yung tipong kakawalang gana na.. Ganun...minsan gusto ko n lng lumubong. Nakkasawa, nakakairita. Buti n lng napanood ko tong video mo kahit paano may something na mag iinspire sken n magmove forward.. Thanks miss thea😘
Congrats! Though reminder to everyone that not all have the same level of freedom as tita Thea to leave their current job even if they are languishing or demotivated. This is most especially true if your corporate salary is your only source of income and you're the breadwinner. For those still willing to risk it to venture somewhere else, I salute you! This is where preparation and good finances will provide you an amount of safety net and peace of mind.
I also resigned from one of my dream company last April as I feel burdened already, working 16hrs a day without ot pay is no joke. I missed to walk my dogs and bond with my family. I also have the same thought that I want to study again, ‘cause my biggest dream is to become a Dentist and Businesswoman. Hayyy. By God’s grace, I hope one day I’ll be able to achieve them ❤️❤️❤️
It's like watching my thoughts in this video. Thank you Thea. I've been a working mom for 13yrs now. It's hard to let go of the job that gives us financial freedom but I no longer see myself doing the same thing 5yrs from now. Glad that my husband and I already come up with the decision to start our own small business. Goodluck to us! 🙌🏻
Wowwww I've been struggling like that situation Ms. Thea last yr April 2020. I love and like what my job is but my work life balance wala na, umiiyak na din ako lagi dahil sa stress. 7am ang in ako 2am ang out ko. That exhausts me. And ako pa ang breadwinner so no choice for me to leave na may sure na work or to stay and I prayed for it. And luckily yung current work k ngyon is such a blessing. Thank you Lord and thank you for your sharing Ms. Thea!!! Aahoooooo ahooooo🙌🙌🙌💛💛💛💛💛
The line "It was actually when I realized that what used to excite me about my work started to feel like such a big burden" but for me it felt like a responsibility and not a passion 2 years ago when I left my first job. It took me almost 6 years before I had the courage to leave. My dream is to have my MBA pero nakaka-overwhelm yung mga pangyayari last year and this year too. Claiming it in the future na sana makabalik akong school like you Ms. Thea. Happy for you! ♥
OMG! very timely I also quit my job though I'm still in corporate just transferred to another company. Generally, let's keep on moving forward to ignite our motivation!
My friends and I have been talking that it has only been 5 years since we graduated our Bachelor's degree yet why is the calling we used to have isn't calling anymore 😔
This is my first time to comment in any vid I watched in yt. I can totally relate to this video. 😭 Last year hit me so hard and I made the most liberating decision to quit my good paying corporate job. Your vids really help me manage my finances especially that my income is different from what I used to. I got serious with my business and I have more savings now even if my homebased job income is not as big as my previous income because I value it more and I track my expenses using your spreadsheet😁 Thank you♥️
Thank you for sharing this video, thru this I finally know the term that I've been experiencing since last yr. I didn't expect that watching your video and reading the article gave me realizations and thoughts about my career.
Just subscribed. Nakakarelate ako since kakaresign ko lang din sa fulltime work ko just to focus being a student again. God bless to your channel Ms Thea!
Cheering you on your next endeavor! We all go through that quarter life crisis that makes us want to quit our jobs but surely this will lead you to a better career path.
I missed these type of videos. Break muna from the financials and serious types, mas masarap pakinggan yung personal na ganto. Don't get me wrong I love those too. Pero this feels like just what we needed to hear, less business like , I felt like I was just catching up with a friend. Sending love to everyone. Let's always try to be kinder because we don't know ano pinagdadaanan ng ibang tao.🥰🙏🏼
Huhu thank you for always watching my vids po ha. Di ko malilimutan yung cute dog thumbnail 😅 i also missed filming this type of content. In the past months kasi i found it hard to express myself as i was going through the process. Wala pa akong nakikitang “light at the end of the tunnel”. It was a very tough time, and i was afraid of sharing my struggles because it might just discourage the viewers. But i am glad i finally had the courage to speak about it. Marami din palang same ang pinagdadaanan
Tita talks have a great point , pero kung isang kahid isang tuka family mo no choice , but nasa tao naman yan kung paano nila ma handle ang mga realizations sa buhay. God Bless !
Congrats Thea on that life-changing decision. Can you share more about the school, course, tuition fees and the real estate broker licensing? I am also looking at it as an option. 🙂
Yes please! I’m hoping you can share it with us on your next video. I also got off from work now, 8 days na and I’ve been thinking about being a real estate broker. Please help us out! You inspire me so much!!! Honestly, out of all the RUclipsr that I follow, ikaw na lang pinapanood ko because your channel is so inspiring and motivating in a sense that you don’t make us feel pressured to achieve so many things to the point that it already affect us emotionally and psychologically ❤️
Grabe ung napapanaginipan na haha same,.. And true,. there's this 12-24 months challenge to prepare, if you wish to leave your current job, and if you are starting from scratch
I also looked forward sa Tita Talks questions :) It's both entertaining and informative.. para kang nakikipagKwentuhan sa maraming tao.. haha Thank you for creating the page!
Super relate especially now that I'm turning 30. for 9 years of working, I push my self and did a lot but pandemic taught me a lot. I I don't feel like it's worth my time and effort to be so hard on myself and hustling that much. Before my goal was very clear abt my career but not Im not after promotion anymore because my goal is to retire early and I felt like , I can do so much if I free myself but for now I can't still do it yet I have a family to feed. However I don't work overtime now if not needed (because we're not actually paid for our OTs) and now looking back I wad like why did I allow myself to work that hard and not get paid 😅😅 Godbless on your new Journey Ms. Thea. I super relate to your tita talks aside from kaage Kita, I super relate to how you want to have a comfortable life for your family and future family..❤️❤️❤️
I'm so happy for you Ms. Thea. I can see the glow in your eyes when you started talking about your plans for professional growth. Looking forward po for more Tita Talks with you. And by the way, I'll be joing your FB page too! Yey!
I can still remember the time you said na you want this channel to focus on make up videos, but God has other plans for you pala. super nakaka inspire tlaga Ms. Thea especially sa financial literacy though you're always saying na you're not a financial expert, we'll look forward for your new journey in life :)
Congrats Thea! Napagawa ako ng channel para makapag-comment lang dito. Super relatable content, minsan gusto na kitang iDM. Napaka sincere mo lang talaga mag vlog. More power at congrats ulit!
I'm so happy na you came up with this video, ngayon ko lang nalaman yung term para sa nararamdaman ko. It's nice that I am not alone, and you made me realize na ang tagal na pala na hindi ako nakakapag self care.
Hi Thea, this is so refreshing! I actually quit my corporate job before and yeah I kinda get to know more about me and my financial aspects in life. Thanks for sharing this !
Hi Thea! Hope you can share more on how to go about getting a degree in real estate management. I've been thinking about getting a second degree as well. Tysm!
Sobrang sakto po. I also wanted to be a real estate broker din pero daming need consider bago ko pasukin yun. Sana po magshare kayo ng more videos about it. Sobrang makakatulong po iyon. Congrats din po sa new chapter of your life!! 🥰
Masaya talaga sa tita talk group, everyday I look forward to answer your daily questions and also nasasayahan ako magbasa ng mga comments ng ibang member as they share their experiences and thoughts. Minsan parang nachachallenge pa ako to the point na gusto ko munang pag isipan before ako magcomment. Hihi. Looking forward for more knowledge na mapupulot and somehow masheshare ko. Love lots miss thea 💞
Thanks Ms. Thea for sharing your decision to leave the corporate job and go back to school, and some tips on self-care! I'm turning 30 this year and I would like to know how going back to school will benefit someone like me na naging sobrang babad sa work and suddenly will have to move on. (taking master's or teaching units are my options right now since I work as a college teacher).
I'm happy and excited for you Ms Thea. I am a fan since last year na nadiscover ko yung channel mo. Hihi. I learned so much from you most specially sa mga finance talks. Goodluck sa yong bagong journey! 💓
#TitaTalks 🍵 is a healthy community. I look forward to answering questions with people because lately I barely have social interaction/communication w people d/t pandemic. #TitaAsks over there gave me some time to think of some things and engage with others with different opinions too.
Sobrang inspiring the way you set up yourself to have options. Sobrang empowering din na you’re going back to school to earn another degree. Sa Filipino culture kasi normally a lot of people find it a waste of resources to study something completely different and pursue a different path especially kung financially rewarding naman yung previous career. Lalo na kung from working class families. Im so excited for your journey and hope you continue to share it dahil madaming maiinspire for sure. 🥰
I am languishing for the past 6 months and it's such a challenge to work every day. It's taken a toll on me, but I have so many responsibilities so no choice.
Grabe Ms Thea, so happy for you. 🥰 Glad you took that leap of faith! So inspiring! And im hoping someday soon i'll also finally be able to afford nadin to take that leap. ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing this po!! ❤️ super relate. Just want to share also that it was my last day of work yesterday (after almost 3yrs of working there). I had to do it because of two reasons: (1) it’s not aligned to my future plans (sa career and in life), and (2) I have to take a mental health break na super long overdue na. Right now maybe some may look at it like it wasn’t the 100% right decision but I believe in taking care of myself first so that I’ll perform better in different aspects of life 🤗
The “practical” side of me kept me from resigning din. But i am glad i made the decision to leave kasi i would’ve been in a much worse mental state had i stayed. Ang important naman is you find the balance between covering your expenses and peace of mind
@@TheaSyBautista thank you po for your reply!! 😍 i agree po. Glad that I was able to save up din po kaya wala masyado worries :) More power to you po Ms. Thea!!
Hi, ate! I dropped by to watch your new video. Mas tambay na kasi ako sa Tita Talks page! Hehehe. Soo heart warming kasi nung nag request to join group ako, 1k pa lang. Now, 5.1k na! 🥰 Thank you for the new community. It was also very helpful for me to see different perspectives from other people na mas marami na experience sa different aspects ng life. I enjoy reading the responses there when I have time. Wishing you all the best. Stay happy! 🤗
Congrats Thea! I can see that you're so happy with your current state and on what's to come. 💖 I dunno if you've noticed but you were smiling the whole time you were telling us your future plans. Am so genuinely happy for you. Good luck sa school! Hindi pa weird or matanda to go to back to school wala naman age limit yan and maganda talaga na nadagdagan lang knowledge natin as we grow. Mabilis lang yan promise. Back then I was so hesitant to get my MBA before kasi feel ko ang tagal and baka di ko kaya pagsabayin work and classes, but i grabbed the opportunity while I still have time. Before I knew it graduate na ko. Haha! Enjoy it and please keep us updated. Hihi.☺️
then there's me thinking if I should get a job with the current situation. sigh. thank you so much for these type of TitaTalks 🥺 dami naitutulong samin ❤️
OMG sobrang relate sa overtime at pagiyak sa computer kasi hirap na hirap na. Pati ung napapanaginipan na yung trabaho at mga boss HAHAHAHA di pala kami nag iisa. Tenkyu, tita thea!!! :) Supporting you all the way!
i did my internship while working full time kasi at the time hindi ako eligible for financial aid and walang magpapa aral sa akin. sobrang hirap but i'm proud of myself kasi kinaya ko.
Hi I just wanted to ask if you can do a video wherein you could maybe guide as on how would you go about studying and working at the same time. I've had this experience before of becoming a working student but during that time, it was more of a necessity rather than a choice. So, I just want to know how to go about it bec I also feel like I am demotivated but I want to do something about it. Thank you!
Ahh! Excited for what is to come pa in your life! Thank you for inspiring us to learn, learn, learn, and live and grow! Regardless of age! This is just so inspiring ate Thea. God bless you on your path!
Huhuhu so relatable talaga ang umiiyak in front of the computer and being so stressed out with work.😅😭 Awee I'm so happy that you chose yourself and made the decision to resign, ate Thea.. 💞 Can you talk more about the Registered Financial Planner journey po? Is it the same with the Financial Advisor, po? Hope you can share this with us. 💞🤗 Love this video! 🤗🌻
Hindi sya same sa FA but aligned sila. Sige i’ll share in one of my future vlogs siguro. Super enjoy ako sa classes lalo na nung nag excel kami kahapon 😂
Malaking tulong un may nakakasalamuha kang tao at hndi puro pader... my gadddd ms. Thea that is so me. Kea minsan feel ko may mali sa pag aalaga ko sa buhay
relate ako when you said you want to have options in the future. I'm currently overwhelmed on the things I want to study just to have that options. can you also share how do you come up on a decision na that specific program na yon ang gusto mo itry and ipursue? what are the factors to consider? thank you!
Nakakainggit po kayo ms. thea.. you already have a concrete attainable plan.. ako i'm still exploring.. hehe.. but I guess only time will tell.. good luck po sainyo ms thea!
Grabe! Relate much yung eksenang umiiyak sa harap ng laptop/habang nagtratrabaho at napapanaginipan na yung work. And lastly, nagresign during this pandemic. 🙋♀️ Resigning during this pandemic is a hard decision to make and you should have planned your life after your last day at work. 😂 It is not easy to leave the company that helps you to grow, gave you opportunities and experience but we need to prioritize our self; physically, mentally and emotionally. We need to find inner peace in the middle of this chaos. 😊 Just keep the faith and keep going. 😉
i'm also considering pursuing a different career because my current profession is a dead end. it pays really good but there is not much room for growth. you are lucky that you have options. for me,it's hard to jump into other things because i'm scared na maging broke ulit.
I feel you. Am okay with my current job pero I also feel na wala ng room for growth. I can't quit yet kasi i need to plan ahead on what I'll do and need to be more financially secure. I'm afraid wala ako malipatan that can pay me as much or more, na di gaano stressful. 😅
@@MaryJane-ld2js i'm currently working as a medical technologist and i'm thinking of pursuing nursing. nursing has a lot of room to grow. how about you?
@@ADK1220 do you still love what you do? I work as a senior officer in a GOCC. I meant pala no room for growth in my company. You know how it is in the government na ang hirap ng promotion. Unless someone resigns or retires, walang vacant position. Di ka mappromote. I've worked in my company for 7 years na. I want change and growth but too scared to take the leap.
@@MaryJane-ld2js same with my job. mahirap ma promote and also may favoritism kasi. i love my job but it was suppose to be a premed for me kasi i really wanted to be a doctor. i had to give that up to go to the states. plans had to change. so ngayon the option i have is to pursue bs nursing, work a bit then go back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
Congrats Thea!! I'm 26 now and want to also retire by 36. The option you shared on financial planning sparked some interest. May I know where you are taking this? I plan on studying again once the year ends.
Yaaasssss!!! I’m a licensed RE broker but not practising now because of my work. I took this para may fall back in the future just in case..hehehe looking forward future broker Thea 🥂

Aww thank you po! ❤️ Hindi ko na nasasabayan dagsa ng DM sa instagram but i try to reply whenever i have free time ☺️
I'm so happy na you came up with this video, ngayon ko lang nalaman yung term para sa nararamdaman ko.
Tysm!
Congratulations Ate! So happy for you
Sobrang sakto po.
Natutuwa nga ako kasi ang effort sumagot ng mga ka-🍵!!
@@TheaSyBautista thank you miss thea 💞🥰
Nakaka-amaze ka talaga ate. Hanga ako sayo. 🥺🤍
Also thank you for extending your experiences and learnings to us, for being so generous to share. May God bless you a hundred fold ❤️🙏🏻
I'm happy and excited for you Ms Thea. I am a fan since last year na nadiscover ko yung channel mo. Hihi. I learned so much from you most specially sa mga finance talks. Goodluck sa yong bagong journey! 💓
Happy for you thea! I really admire you and i fully support everything you do!! GO TITA
#TitaTalks 🍵 is a healthy community. I look forward to answering questions with people because lately I barely have social interaction/communication w people d/t pandemic. #TitaAsks over there gave me some time to think of some things and engage with others with different opinions too.
Since I've been struggling and just fixing my track in terms of career and personal goal, this is really helpful Ate! 💗☺️
God bless you Ms. Thea! Ako naman looking forward na magka-work na. Sana this year, mapasok na ako sa public school. Claiming it, amen 🙏💗
I fully support you! 😊😊😊 Congratulations for taking that calculated risk. Nakakaproud ka po! ❤❤❤
Thank you!! ❤️ Siguro it helped din na I have friends pursuing a career (they actually enjoy) different from their degree.
i love how you handle and plan your life well. good luck sa journey mo, ms thea! im so happy for you.
I really like how relatable your contents are. Keep it up Ms. Thea!
Grabe ung pasabog! Na excite ako!
Love the content Thea! :* Such a wise decision! I'm cheering from afar..
Such an inspiring words from you. Feels like I was listening to a true friend. Good luck on your journey! Hugs!!
lagi akong nagaabang ng bagong video mo ms. thea. I've learned a lot from you.
Thank you so much for sharing this po!! ❤️ super relate. Just want to share also that it was my last day of work yesterday (after almost 3yrs of working there).
I had to do it because of two reasons:
(1) it’s not aligned to my future plans (sa career and in life), and
(2) I have to take a mental health break na super long overdue na.
Glad that I was able to save up din po kaya wala masyado worries :)
More power to you po Ms. Thea!!
Fighting sa new journey mo po. More tita talks to come 😊
Minsan talaga pag stress ka need mo irejuvenate and sarili mo. Thanks for this vid.
Stay happy! 🤗
Awww i am glad na nageenjoy ka sa tita talks! Actually nababasa ko replies mo hahaha ❤️
Congrats Thea! I can see that you're so happy with your current state and on what's to come. 💖
I dunno if you've noticed but you were smiling the whole time you were telling us your future plans.
Hihi.☺️
Yay!!! Minsan nauubusan ako ng itatanong 😅
then there's me thinking if I should get a job with the current situation. sigh. thank you so much for these type of TitaTalks 🥺 dami naitutulong samin ❤️
OMG sobrang relate sa overtime at pagiyak sa computer kasi hirap na hirap na. Pati ung napapanaginipan na yung trabaho at mga boss HAHAHAHA di pala kami nag iisa. Tenkyu, tita thea!!! :) Supporting you all the way!
Nakakatawa nalang isipin now pero dati minumura ko na computer 😂
i did my internship while working full time kasi at the time hindi ako eligible for financial aid and walang magpapa aral sa akin. sobrang hirap but i'm proud of myself kasi kinaya ko.
This is my first time I commented ever in a RUclips video, no joke, but wanna say proud of you Thea ❤️💪🏻
Thank you!! 🥰
I'm sure you can be an excellent resource speaker in the coming years! ❤️
Thank you!
Very underrated ng channel mo ate thea. You deserve to be included on YT Creator Camp
Wow, congratulations, Miss Thea! ❤️
Congrats, ate Thea
Ahh! Excited for what is to come pa in your life! Thank you for inspiring us to learn, learn, learn, and live and grow! Regardless of age! This is just so inspiring ate Thea. God bless you on your path!
Liked the video before watching it 🙋🏻♀️
As always! Loved it. So relatable. So many struggles and shits but still fighting
such an inspiration… love you ms. Thea 😭
Yay prang ang ganda ng naturals by watsons na merong bamboo packaging skincare line nila 😍 I used the argan line one💕
Omg!!! Go Thea
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 so happy and proud of you, sis! Such a brave move but so amazed how you were able to plan everything so you’ll have options! 😍 So inspiring!
Aww thank you sis! 💜
Nung binanggit mo yung sa Tita Talks Community ewan ko nakaka happy. I felt that I belong 😅
Malaking tulong un may nakakasalamuha kang tao at hndi puro pader... my gadddd ms. Thea that is so me. Kea minsan feel ko may mali sa pag aalaga ko sa buhay
Best of luck, Ms. Thea! I will surely miss your work vlogs.
relate ako when you said you want to have options in the future.
Thank you!!! Explore your options lang. Dun ko napansin na may opportunities pala outside of work 👍🏼
Grabe! Relate much yung eksenang umiiyak sa harap ng laptop/habang nagtratrabaho at napapanaginipan na yung work. And lastly, nagresign during this pandemic. 🙋♀️
Resigning during this pandemic is a hard decision to make and you should have planned your life after your last day at work. 😂
It is not easy to leave the company that helps you to grow, gave you opportunities and experience but we need to prioritize our self; physically, mentally and emotionally.
We need to find inner peace in the middle of this chaos. 😊
Just keep the faith and keep going. 😉
i'm also considering pursuing a different career because my current profession is a dead end. it pays really good but there is not much room for growth. you are lucky that you have options. for me,it's hard to jump into other things because i'm scared na maging broke ulit.
I've been using the Argan conditioner for weeks now, loved it! Ung hair oil nila ma Argan rin, been using it for years na.
I love the hair oil. Palagi ako naghehair oil so medyo marami na akong natry. Light lang nya no?
So happy for you, Thea!
Basta #TitaTalks and it's from you go agad.
Ang perfect ng career track mo Ms. Thea😭
