I feel weird watching this video ... I remember being at the concert that day, it was in Strasbourg, France. Me, a German guy, in Strasbourg (France, Elsace, heavily fought about in WW1 and WW2) at a Sabaton concert, them singing about war and warfare and just driving back home after the concert. Germany, France, so many wars have been fought and in 2014, nobody cared. Driving over the "border" was just crossing a white line, someone drew on the road. I had to slow down ... but there were no border patrols, nothing, no one cared. It was 2014 and the German-France border, why should anyone be there? Now, 2020 f*ing Corona being part of my daily life, I'm hoping for things to go back to the "good old times", I miss going to France, watching my favorite band and nobody even mentioning the fact that I'm not from their country FFS, our countries were at war not too long ago (my grandparents were alive during war times) and I miss going to concerts in that country ... I so want to go back to 2014! I want to feel like a citizen of Europe again.
