Very nice. Can you use a sprayer or something of that nature to get a consistent thin coat? It seems like it would help avoid the streaking, although you'd lose some of the "character" that the streaking imparts.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I love any assistance you can offer me
@Reece Orlando i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Mr Brightside I've used American Clay on plasterboard - drywall - and am now working with limewash on top of some of the clay walls - in order to make them more water resistant. I also have used lime plaster on brick - which butted up against drywall - the lime plaster actually made an excellent filler - connecting the drywall (on wood) with the brick wall.
@@benbirch2393 I started doing up and down like this but the striped brush strokes showed through. I went with a criss cross in the end, it seemed to be the best way to do it.
Not how you apply it at all, do figure 8 brush patterns or Xs. Never brush in straight lines with limewash. Also should only take 3 coats, not sure what he is doing. Also, if using a pigment make sure its designed to be used with lime as not all are by any means.
Could you please demonstrate the way the limewash itself was made?
Nice video - good job.
What sort of pigment did you use for that colour? Cheers
Do all lime plaster walls need 4 coats of lime wash, or was that necessary for this project to get the desired color?
any videos of how to add texture into the strokes so it creates shadow and bright area etc?
