Sad to hear that you guys are taking a break but completely understand. There has just been too many releases that a lot of people (myself included) have burnout from makeup and just don’t have the same enthusiasm.
The colourpop quads are very good quality. I think it is a great alternative to the mega palettes...to be able to pick and choose the smaller colour stories that you like best...and you can easily use these with any other neutral palette you choose....so to me much more versatile and travel friendly....if we ever travel again!

OK, so Besame's super expensive box set was rumored to have been dictated by Marilyn's estate (I wasn't too sure about that, but now I think maybe it was). A few weeks later, they did end up releasing the products individually. I got a bunch and I love them! Classy, beautiful packaging and designed to help recreate her icon look. Recently, they said that it would be that collection's "final week". A lot of things sold out, but the few that didn't were taken of their page. Now I do think that there were mandates from her estate, and I think that pulling the collection from sale was to ensure it wouldn't complete with this load of cheap crap. Which is pretty annoying, because Besame's collection was so much better.

I just got some Coloured Rain shadows and was surprised by how rough some of the shades feel. I'll try the palettes after the holidays and hopefully they'll perform great despite how they feel to the touch.

I started following for the makeup aspect but stayed because of y’all. Even when I stopped buying massive amounts of makeup after the start of covid and lockdown, I watched regularly simply to listen to you guys and laugh…something we could all use more of these days! I would not mind trying out a mini of the new Benefit primer. It is actually nice that Benefit is one of the few brand's that makes minies of their launches, bc 30+ dollars is a lot of money from a full-size product you haven not tried before.

I love how you were never afraid to talk some shit lmao but there really is an absurd amount of shit out there right now and if it's not sparking joy anymore that's completely understandable. I do hope you guys can continue to make stuff together on this channel even if it's sporadic because you're so funny.

OK, so Besame's super expensive box set was rumored to have been dictated by Marilyn's estate (I wasn't too sure about that, but now I think maybe it was). A few weeks later, they did end up releasing the products individually. I got a bunch and I love them! Classy, beautiful packaging and designed to help recreate her icon look. Recently, they said that it would be that collection's "final week". A lot of things sold out, but the few that didn't were taken of their page. Now I do think that there were mandates from her estate, and I think that pulling the collection from sale was to ensure it wouldn't complete with this load of cheap crap. Which is pretty annoying, because Besame's collection was so much better.
I agree with everyone’s comments. It is always sad when an era ends. The beauty community is losing its soul.

I just got some Coloured Rain shadows and was surprised by how rough some of the shades feel. I'll try the palettes after the holidays and hopefully they'll perform great despite how they feel to the touch.

I’m gonna miss the snark, sass and banter! I started following beauty news and y’all’s personal channels when I came out trans about 4 years ago along with a multitude of other beauty channels…4 years, a lot of beauty drama and a load of shit releases later…y’all are the only beauty channels I watch anymore. I started following for the makeup aspect but stayed because of y’all. Even when I stopped buying massive amounts of makeup after the start of covid and lockdown, I watched regularly simply to listen to you guys and laugh…something we could all use more of these days! Ill be watching y’all’s personal channels but will be selfishly waiting for some random wine times to see the two of you together! Best wishes and warmest regards!
I would not mind trying out a mini of the new Benefit primer. It is actually nice that Benefit is one of the few brand's that makes minies of their launches, bc 30+ dollars is a lot of money from a full-size product you haven not tried before.
