My entire HVAC panel light cluster is out, I thought it would be impossible to replace them myself, you made it look so easy. Genius, subscribed and going to watch all your videos. Just can’t understand how ALL 6 of the bulbs went out, hint - maybe you could have started with identifying a fuse that controls the light cluster, could save taking the whole assembly apart?
Great video. One thing to keep in mind is that the clips that hold the climate control panel assembly in place can be lost as you pop it out. I would recommend you be ready with replacement clips. In my case, I lost a couple, but used electrical tape on the remaining tabs to make them fit more snugly and not make any rattling sounds.
AMAZING! I just saved myself $300 in parts/labor by doing this and fixing my air vent by myself in 5 minutes. Going to order the bulbs for the panel today and save myself another $120. Thanks!!
Awesome!! Thank you. Faulkner Honda refused to sell me bulbs and suggested the entire component needed to be replaced for a grand total of $1,700. Rahal Honda sold me 5 light bulbs for $33.10 today. No problems. You clearly saved me some cash. Thank you.
Thank you for a very helpful video. My bulbs wouldn't fall out so I had to use some needle nose pliers, but otherwise it was a cinch. The bulbs had been going out one by one for months, but I was afraid to pull the dash apart until I saw your video. Thanks again!
Thank you very much. Your video saved me a lot of time money. Total cost for me is $37.50 for 6 bulbs from Amazon... Rather than $300 from Honda service. Subscribed.
Worked in my 2005 Odyssey. Bulbs can only be bought through Honda Parts. 6 bulbs = $46.00 - 4 gray bulbs replaced by 4 white bulbs, 2 black bulbs replaced by 2 longer black bulbs. Used tweezers to pull out, hardest part was pulling out 3rd clip from dash (cabin lights). In all, 15 minutes - easy! Thanks!
Wow, great video took me 20 min ordered the oem bulbs off Amazon. Note if all your other lights don't work except tach. On passenger side fuses I believe its #7 illumination has a 7.5 fuse. I replaced that and everything my steering wheel and radio backlights came back except climate control. So now I have all!
I hope that is all that is wrong with mine! I have a 2005 and all of my dash lights are out (except the speedometer/tach/fuel lights). Great video! Thanks!
GREAT VIDEO! and it appears to be pretty simple. I have had a bulb here and there go out over the years......and am down to about three bulbs now operating so the next time I'm at the dealer, I will purchase bulbs and install. Thanks again for your excellent video.
Great video !!! Saved me a few dollar and also motivated me to change the Seat Heater lights. However my climate control dash lights are quite dim. I've not had these lights for a long time so don't really remember the brightenss - Maybe they do not get that bright.
Hey boss great video when I bought the van about a week ago it came with dead bulbs this video is gonna help. I have a question tho I'm planning to change the colour I want it to match the white where the speedometer is, is it possible? because I want to change all the greenish to white including the audio controls And where could I pick up the bulbs? Thank you.
Hi, thanks for the video. It was very helpful. We just replaced the bulbs but can't tell if they work because it is daylight. I was a little disappointed because I expected we could tell, even during the day. Will check tonight and if not, will look for a fuse but I doubt that there would be a separate fuse just for this lighting panel and not for the other button lights. One thing I would try different would be to move the shifter to N or something. I wanted to try it but already had the panel off and, per your advice, did not want to turn the key and risk causing errors. Thanks again for sharing.
Got these on ebay only $19.95 for the whole set and they work perfect! copy and paste this to ebay- Honda Odyssey (Set of 6 Bulbs) Heater A/C Climate Control Light Bulb Kit -
Half my climate display and maybe 2 buttons was working and I got some LED bulbs from amazon to replace the ones that were there. I did everything here but what I noticed was that some bulbs from the factory stock were grey and some black. In my Amazon pack all were white and after I put them in they didn't work. I took back the panel down and inserted the old bubls but non worked. What aren't non working at all now? What else could be the problem?
My lights (the ones that turn all the lights on the right hand side of the steering wheel) not working but the climate control isn’t working for me …could it be my fuses ?
I know this video is old but hopefully you see this and respond. Is there a fuse that could cause these lights to go out also? just don't wanna buy the bulbs and that not be the issue.very helpful video tho! thanx so much.
The letters on AC, OFF and Auto won't light up at night but when I press the AC button the green light will turn on. Do you think It has a separate bulb for the lettering?
Hey bro, all my light on the panel doesn't work. Replaced all the bulbs (black and gray) and no light. The only light that is on is the display and the green and amber button light. You think my aftermarket dvd radio have to do something with it??
If anyone bought the OEM bulbs linked in this video, how long have they lasted? How long should the bulbs last? And what remedies are available through the seller for bulbs with subpar performance?
So I called Honda to ask how much the blubs are and the guy told me mine are and integral part of the car and that I cannot replace them? I have an 08 odyssey
I had the dealer do this, cost was $182 for all six bulbs - $50 in parts for the six bulbs and $132 for labor, ouch! I should have watched this video and done it myself.
Hey guys I wouldd like to know if someone know how to change or where to buy the Sunroof button bulb. It would be really appreciate. And by the way great video very helpful thought.
I replaced all the lights and one did not light so i switched it with another new bulb and then put it back together then another was out and replaced it and now the radio light is out half way! Please help they seem to be playing games with me
Well I did it!! Ordered the bulbs and this non mechanical Mom did it all by herself thanks to this video. Thank you.

Operation "see my AC controls at night" accomplished. Thanks for the great video.

It took me less than 10 minutes to get the light bulb changed. Thanks for making this video and saving me a lot of money.
AMAZING! I just saved myself $300 in parts/labor by doing this and fixing my air vent by myself in 5 minutes. Going to order the bulbs for the panel today and save myself another $120. Thanks!!
You made it look very easy to separate the panel in your van! Putting your panel back together in your van looked even easier!
Great job! I went to Honda, and they asked me to pay $260 for changing these bulbs!!!
That's parking lot robbery! That's why we call them stealerships!

Thanks! Really easy. Timed myself. 8 minutes from start to finish. Honda wanted to charge me $300 for this repair.
Jesse Holten Honda mechanic worker should get fire for charging people that much period. Smh

Great Video! Explained everything perfectly and I got the job done in about 10 minutes!
Awesome..job.. You made it seem so easy that a blind person could do it.
Thank you. Just purchased a set through MTS. Willing to spend and extra couple bucks as you were willing to post a video.
Thanks! You won't be disappointed! :)

Thank you. I couldn't figure out how to remove the panel. This video really helped, and it saved me a lot of money.
I bought a used 2010 Honda Odyssey about 2 years ago. Thinking this vehicle doesn't have - lights. Lol! Now I know how to fix it.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble. You helped a lot of people time and money!
This is great video. Clear, easy to follow.
Thank you for sharing. What is the part number or spec number of the bulb? Thanks
Thank you sir I just ordered them hopefully they fit and function properly.
Great video !!! Saved me a few dollar and also motivated me to change the Seat Heater lights.
However my climate control dash lights are quite dim. I've not had these lights for a long time so don't really remember the brightenss - Maybe they do not get that bright.
I metered the voltage on my 2010 Honda Odyssey, and the black base measured 8V, and the grey measured 12V.
thanks this was very helpful i looked everywhere to find a video like this.. helped a lot
If your wondering if you can or can't.....watch this video! You can do it!

Thanks, I kind of figured that's how the panel came off, but wanted to look into it first and not break something. :)
Good video instructions. Thank you for taking the time to make this.

Great video. How do I replace the lights for the seat heaters?
Thanks
There's no fuse out or anything? So It's just the bulbs? I ordered bulbs. just wanna make sure.
Will replacing those bulbs bring back the lights for the DR, PASS, and REAR controls in the center?

My lights (the ones that turn all the lights on the right hand side of the steering wheel) not working but the climate control isn’t working for me …could it be my fuses ?

Any LED versions?
Which bulbs did you purchase? The OEM ones on Amazon linked in this video?
