Good afternoon, David Reimer. I'm hoping for a nice sunny day. For my birthday 22nd this month. Thank you for the updates appreciated it 😀. God bless you and all your listeners and family and team always. Take care and stay safe always ❤all😊.
Indulge me, please. You keep using the term (as does DFW meteorologists) “brief, spin up tornadoes”. What In layman’s terms does that mean? Dust devil, EF1, brief burst of wind? Do I need to clear out my shelter in Weatherford? I’m a worrier by nature
I would imagine he could be referring to qlcs (quasi-linear convective system) tornadoes and not the super scary ones that come from rogue super cells. Usually they are short lived and not as damaging
Typically with linear systems, tornadoes have a harder time forming and staying around. They typically spin up and die before reaching the ground, or they make contact but are weaker and short lived. They aren't like the monsters produced by lone supercells
If you're not native to tornado alley, it's generally a good idea to clear out the shelter for the spring and fall months, as some storms cannot be accurately forecast. Stock it with water, canned food, a flash light, and weather radio.
Good afternoon. Thanks for the weather Dave and all you guys do. Be blessed

A Brief, spin up tornado is really only an issue if it hits your house.

They are spraying the entire sky here in Austin. Wonder if they are cloud seeding?
Maby they are spraying for bats, you know, them pesky flying critters, that’s always getting tangled in fancy women’s hair
Cloud seeding is taking water from someone else too like in Dubai. No wonder it's so dry up north...
It's Monday rn and tysm

No, it's the solid form of water, from what I understand.
