Saving chests for p1000 is a really good idea, thanks! Could you make a video about how to optimize getting Paragon 1000 as soon as possible? Especially, when to release bp points and sell the fishes etc? I know new raids and gauntlets give first clear xp rewards which is not reduced by paragon level. But when should one pull the trigger when it comes to using all the saved xp?

I already made one here, theres also a cheat sheet in the description ruclips.net/video/FBciHDkRWHE/видео.html You want to claim everything thats affected by penalty like bp, fish, mails etc. on Monday. Raids and Gaunlet are not affected so claim them at the very end when you are high XP penalty (5% or higher). Remember you can stall Monday reset raids till Wednesday and Thursday till Sunday so you have more time to grind

How do I avoid that with most likelyhood? Spesifically, how do I calculate the level I arrive after releasing saved xp and raiding and gauntleting?
@@Olotila That's why its good to claim everything not affected by pentalty first then you only have to calculate for raids and gauntlets. Every raid gives 2M exp (on first clear only) and every full gauntlet run also gives 2M if its your first clear. Every level regardless of xp penalty is 3.5M xp to level which can be checked from the top left of inventory screen (you are penalized with less exp when killing mobs but raids and gauntlets are unaffected by this penalty). Knowing this the best thing to do is check which raid bosses/gauntlets you will do which are available with first time clear. Let's say I have 5 bosses and 1 gauntlet left. This is total of 5x2 + 2 = 12M xp. Divide by 3.5M this will give you 3.42 levels gained (rounded down). This means that the minimum level I need to reach before pulling the trigger is the "goal"-3.42 so 1000-3.42 = p996.58. To work out exactly how much this .58 is, you can do .58x3.5 = 2.03. So for this specific example, the minimum level you need is 996 and 2.03/3.5M exp. This is a specific example and everyone will be different depending on how many bosses/gauntlets they have saved. Also remember that you can only do 5 bosses per reset after first 5 done for that reset further boss kills wont give rewards. So even if you have more than 5 bosses saved you need to wait for the next reset on Mon/Thursday to do more. A small warning I should give is that after 19 levels, the penalty becomes 1%. This means that the level 999->1000 HAS to be skipped with minimum of 4M xp from first clears (this was only thing not mentioned in my video, since it was a change made after posting). He’s not farming them for the scraps/dust. He’s just saying don’t open the chests till later levels since you can save them. Then you’ll get better mats when scrapping it since you’ll be higher level and so will the loot.
So im 1100/1500 of WB weekly cap an just tried this. With 5k score in Defense and claiming the "24" points from the mail Im actually getting 5 wb points instead of the 24.
Yes, you got 6 points. This is working as intended after the 1k point cap any points you make from any activity are divided by 4 As mentioned in the video this is very time consuming, personally I won't be doing it myself. For me this still makes for an interesting video to give information that not many people know about and other options of playing the game. Hope it helps!
Not worth my time. Maybe if you are far behind cr and can’t actually open world farm higher content to prefarm legendaries. But for me even as a very low spender I have already been prefarming inferno 3 dungeons for weeks.

so each 99 stack is ~300 minutes aka 5hrs. Impressive or scary, Im still not sure.

Actually its only good for Warband points, but for scraps and dust it is 30%-20% less productive compared to open world farming

However, this is also good if you want to farm invocation gear. You just open them up in purge and legendaries are sure to drop invoc gear.

No expiry and because they take virtually no space in your inventory, as you long as you wish
