I absolutely love this- great use of the vellum and I'm on my way to Hobby Lobby to get those page protectors- thanks so much for this wonderful video!!!!
Just LOVeEthis and I don't have to make the album first!!!! Adorable and so useful.....I would make this...and believe me I have a LOT of this collection! Thanks again, Sandy
Hello, the album turned out beautifully and I would like to make a recipe book similar to that. Would you tell me when you put on the Modge Potch? After sticking the papers and tapes or before sticking? How often have you applied the Modge Potch. I would be very happy to receive an answer as I am still a beginner.
Hello. I'm sorry for my delayed response to your question. I applied the Mod Podge after getting all the papers and even the ribbon onto the album. Probably 3 coats, letting each coat try in between. If I used it in my kitchen where it would get handled a lot, I would put a fresh coat on every six months or so. But mine sits here in my craft room on display, so I haven't added any additional coats thus far.
I really love this! I have the papers ready to go and this is exactly what I'd like to make. I tried to find the directions on the Graphic 45 blog but I don't think it goes back that far - I get an error message when I try to go back to 2015. Is there a way I can still get printed directions? Thanks for any help you can give me!
Thanks Deborah. As I looked back for you, I discovered Graphic 45 put out a tutorial of mine for a different version of the recipe book, which does have all the directions and cutting measures. Unfortunately, not this exact one in my video, but if you want to check that one out, here's the link: g45papers.typepad.com/graphic45/2015/07/welcome-our-2015-special-project-designers-annette-green-and-gloria-stengel.html
Now I want to do both! I will borrow from each, I think. You know, I bought the paper a couple of years ago but didn't know what do do with it, just that it was beautiful. I did the Nature's Sketchbook folio this winter - that was my first project like this - and now I'm hooked. Thanks again!
You're quite welcome. This afternoon I found my directions for this one, but it doesn't give any of the cutting dimension, just the assembly as if you had a pre-cut kit. If you'd like those also, please let me know and I'd be happy to e-mail them to you.
That would be great! I just got one of the multimedia albums so I think I can guesstimate the dimensions between the size of the book's pages and your video. My e mail is dadamsciccone@roadrunner.com. I even found some charms - I think that is a great idea! And the Modpodge for the cover!
You are so talented...so glad I ran across your videos...
Hi Juanita! Thank you so much. Please enjoy, and subscribe if you wish.
this is very beautiful oh my!

I'll bet my daughter in law would love this! Lovely way to actually use your projects TFS, hugs, Jess

Is a. Beautiful book, I was wondering what kind of paper you used for the base of the pages of the book? Thank you
Flo Bogus Thank you! The base pages are included in the album. They are thick cardstock, and some pages are vellum.
Lovely.... thanks for sharing
This is amazing! I have to go buy this line ASAP! Lol...thanks for sharing!
So glad you liked it! The paper is perfect, isn't it?
Love it! Did you put mod pudge, etc on the inside pages for protection?
No, Rita, I didn't. But not a bad idea eventually. Thank you.
This is not your typical junk. Homemade journal? Does it all come in a kit?
