  • Diving with wild alligators! This was a fun outing exploring a new spot with Kevin and George. We saw lots of gators, fish, and turtles!
    Don’t swim with gators! Says the guy swimming with gators! 😂 but seriously, do not enter the water in gator habitat, if you want to swim with a gator come do one of my tours!! I’ve been diving with wild alligators AND crocodiles here in Florida, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Botswana, these are apex predators and I like to remind everyone I am a trained professional, never try anything in my videos on your own, and if you want to see a gator in the water come join one of my tours, safely! #animaleducation #animals #alligator #gator #animal

      It's not to say that gators aren't dangerous, but it's typically crocodiles that have the more aggressive demeanor.

    I find the under water activity of gators interesting. The fact that you can swim up to there face and they won’t move.. very interesting with the membranes

    Amazing video Chris 🤩 its awesome that you can share these videos with us. You share events that would be terrifying in person to someone like myself, whos never been in a situation like that before, in such a calm way its almost tranquil. These videos are my favorite videos that you do, the mellow/calm voice overs of wild animals in the everglades. Take care and best wishes

    Thank you Chris for the amazing video 👏👏👏. It's so wonderful to see so many gators in the wild.I love the way crocodilia swim, with their hind legs all tucked back!So stinkin' rad,as Clint would say!I still recall that one fabulous video when you came across a wild gator only yards from a wild American crocodile,both just chillin' on the bottom! Absolutely superb!
    Happy new year to Chris,Gabby and all the precious animals you rescue.

    Wow, that was so awesome!
    I love to see how the silt comes off the gator and the way he takes off!
    The turtles are beautiful. I didn't know they could swim that fast!
    There's a lot going on beneath the surface, we have no idea about. Thanks for always warning us how extremely dangerous it is to swim with alligators if youre not capable to handle them.

And also could you ever talk more about underwater fossile hunting? Sounds like a very dope topic for some reason, haven't heard too much about it either.

    Hey Chris, I took risks swimming Okifinoky river and a rural river during flood waters. It was dumb because of the debrit and incredible current. Possible gators attracted to the hard splashing too.

    Do you ever do tours? Like could i do this with you or can u teach me the ways of the gator? Ever since Wade dived in the amazon ive been wanting to join up. Most croc divers say that you are safest on the bottom they see you as a predator like them. Ive also heard its safest when the water temp is below 65 degrees

    • @evanhainey2101
      @evanhainey2101 6 месяцев назад +1

      Alot of divers have told me its similar with sharks as well they see you as a fellow predator when your on the sea bed. But when you swim to the top of the water thats the kill zone and where most attacks are triggered.

    • @evanhainey2101
      @evanhainey2101 6 месяцев назад

      I swam with a bull shark in the gulf of mexico back in 2017 it was a thrill ive only experienced a few times before. Ive also been inn a 500 foot whirlpool in a flooded river with copperheads and cotton mouths and huge channel catfish as well and debris and lots of human trash. Its how i test myself in case God decides to flood the earth again i want to be prepared. Ive learned you always let the river guide you. Hey i just noticed you dont have a metal bar alot of the amazon scuba divers use a metal rod that has a sharp tip they mainly use them for holding themselves to the river bed cause they are usually fighting the current. In some cases they have used them to ward off curious crocs who venture to close for comfort.

    I think it is the dark water and lack of visibility that freaks me out. You guys can have the diving murky water with the gators. I will take the clearer, salt water and sharks any day. We know that both can kill you so I am not sure why I feel awe and wonder when diving near a shark and terror at the thought of diving with a gator.

  • @Bw.e

    Something I’ve been wondering for awhile is how good gators eye sight is under water. Cuz Paul posts videos of himself swimming right up to gators under water and they don’t even flinch…? Why is that?

    • @GatorChris_

      All crocodilians have very sensitive receptors, they detect many parameters under water.

  • @emmanuelzanders1746
    @emmanuelzanders1746 6 месяцев назад

    Can they co exist with other large sea life without attacking… like crocs not attacking hippos

    • @Polosatiy_Varan
      @Polosatiy_Varan 6 месяцев назад

      Yes, they can. Although saltwater croсs swimming in the ocean prey on sea animals such as turtles, dolphins, large fish (including sharks and rays), etc. And Nile crocs sometimes hunt hippos.
