I Survived 100 Days on a SURVIVAL ISLAND in 1.21 Hardcore Minecraft...Part 1. In this new (hopefully very long) Series. I take on the Survival Island Challenge. A challenge where I am trapped on an Island. And can't leave. This island has no food. No animals. Not really much of anything. So can I Survive. Well you'll have to watch and find out!

I Survived 100 Days in Hardcore Minecraft and here is what happened. Not Modded Minecraft. No Mods. Not Speedrunner Vs Hunter, More like Survivalist Vs Hunter but to the extreme. Skyblock, One Block, UHC/Ultrahardcore none of these. Just Hardcore Minecraft.

I love the idea of a slow build series. Yeah big projects can be fun but they can lose a lot of the game play aspect which I find appealing.

No, I genuinely love your format of videos. Not only is it a breath of fresh air to have a bit more of a normal play-through (although obviously you still did quite a lot) but it also lends itself to a better upload schedule and a lot less of you getting worn out.
Also a side note but your editing and your silly jokes are what keep me coming back to the channel. Your Dr. Havendhand in front of a white board, silly jokes, and in this episode the tavern storytelling. It’s hilarious and no one else does it like you do. Keep doing what you’re doing, man

Nah, I think you nailed this one. I don't always manage to watch your videos to the end but this was great exactly as it was. The overall framing of the story, the challenge, skipping just enough to keep a healthy pace... I liked seeing the new default skins, felt like a little nod of respect to Mojang (that gets badmouthed often). Will definitely watch the next one and I finally decided to subscribe. Big builds are impressive but also... Intimidating? This is much easier to relate to than netherite beacons 😁 but that's more of a comment about the pressure to build better+bigger to attract/ keep viewers than a criticism of the actual players (content creators) who are just trying to survive trends and moods of RUclips (algorithm).
I enjoy the slower pace much better! Great video! I like to watch players that play like I do! Love the crop field set up so gonna use that in my world! Thanks

First thing I noticed is your map looks like the state of Texas! Also, having the animals spawn in is like BONUS! Shipwrecks nearby are also handy (because iron and the carrots!) Can't wait for the seed on this one! Go to 2000 days on it please!!!
Yes, keep these videos coming. Love the content and delivery. I'm not a fan of "perfect first starts" where 100 days are crammed into the first episode. Slow play is best for me...and you're freaking hilarious. I know a lot of time went into this video and I hope you're inspired to do more, but...in the end, you gotta love what you do, and as long as you're enjoying making these types of videos, I'll be watching!

I quite like this style of video, it is quite reminiscent of old let's play videos in terms of the amount of progress
That's the goal. I've always wanted to do a Hardcore "Let's play" of sorts but I don't want to dedicate Hours of my life to 1 BIG thing when I could just do a couple of small things and have fun with it. Glad you enjoyed :)

I think a lot of times Hardcore Let's Play episodes move way too quickly. It gives an unrealistic view of exactly how much time it takes to make that much progress. Do what you like to do!!! I love the "storytelling" aspect of all your work, and the tavern idea is brilliant!

17:31 I always like these type of videos, but I do like when I RUclipsr makes a compilation of the episodes after a milestone. Yes you can just watch the playlist itself, but for Series like this have a movie after 100 in-game days to just listen to in the background is good

I really like the video format. Not so into the cut scenes though.
I prefer to watch small projects per episode. Like building one necessary building for the world and so on. But you do whatever you feel like doing. Better than getting tired and giving up right?

Havenhand, but doesnt the semi-automatic crop farm you made require repeaters, which in turn require quartz, which you can only get in the nether that you didnt go to?
That is a Observer my Friend. Repeater is 3 Smooth stone, 2 Redstone Torches and a single Redstone dust :)
