What song did jones walk into the ring with?
Great step of malinga they are waiting to get tired his opponent
I just saw a praying mantis flying across the ring. I'm not sure what symbolism that is.
I don't care what any human being says ok but to my eyes and my own brain in life Manny is a geniuse 2 times over!! Think carefully 🤔🤔🤔
Larry Merchhant seen a real live alien fly by, a flying praying mantis
18:52 dude is so scared he flinches at his corner man
Remarkable KO performance by RJJ! I can't stand Larry Merchant.
Since most everyone is voicing their disapproval of Merchant here (which I agree) I must announce my all time favorite boxing commentator, his name is Bob Sheridan, as for boxers, I love Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Roy Jones, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns, and Sugar Ray Robinson.
Edit: I sincerely hope Larry Merchant did not participate alongside De La Hoya in one of those fishnets tryouts fit and finish pictorial contest.
it wasn't posturing if you know his background he didn't learn fighting in your local city gym. He was forged in a serious slolom of hazing and relentless discipline. Some would call it abuse, but you see the product. In his prime nobody in his weight class was able to fight him and win decisively or indecisively lol.
I love how badly Merchant riles up black people.
Love the way Merchant dismisses Lewis in the Bruno fight, self opinionated fool lol
Мой любимый боксёр
It was funny when Malinga fail his very first time in the fight.
Malinga was a 2 time champion
+Mario Zelda Metroid Malinga would go on to beat Nigel Benn and scrape the planned RJJ-Benn SuperFight.
I always wondered how Merchant kept that job for so long. Was he friends with a top guy at HBO? Negative, biased, and elitist in his commentary, post fight interviews where he thinks the show is about him.
Agreed. This was the 2nd fight I heard him say "I saw sugar ray Leanord and he's no sugar ray". Bernard Hopkins was the other. He probably said it every fight until he realized Roy was an all time great
I think De La Hoya was Larry Merchant’s toy boy.
@@millhousemillard2140 He said that he's no Ray Leonard YET, which at that stage wasn't an unfair assessment.
Larry never knew shit about boxing at all
Makes you wonder how in the world he was able to keep that job at HBO for 35 years.
He tried his best but Roy jones was too smart for my Sugar boy
I'm sorry but Was Larry Merchant a professional boxer ever in his life?
Not at all!
Hell NO!!!
My prediction did not work, due to the fall of malinga.
Only one problem Larry Roy Jones never ducked no body sugar ray Leonard waited till hagler lost a step Roy Jones top five all time fighter
Do you ever trade these full shows?
Roy Jones was simply awesome and far better than Ray Leonard
Merchant is the worst boxing commentary in the history of boxing. All he ever wants is two fighters to go blow for blow. He knows nothing about the sport or science.
