With you being a lefty, the camera needs to be on the left side and a little higher than ground level when you're bowling so we can see the ball rolling down the lane. Other than that, you make great videos that are very informative. I love it when you turn the lights out and we can see the oil pattern and tracer of the bowling ball path, so cool looking. Thank you for all your hard work making these videos.
Bam! Another barn burner of a review. When I saw this video I was so psyched because I have the 2.0 and love it and when this 3.0 came out I was wondering if I NEEDED this bad boy but after seeing this as much as I do want the 3.0 I'll most likely get something Radical. This was so informative Ron and kudos for the channels facelift of sorts. So much better and being lefty it really helps us a ton. Thank you again.
Ron. Thanks again for another informative video. I enjoy your content. I noticed the 2.0 left more flat 7 pins than the 3.0. I will probably pick up a 3.0 since it is the newer tech, plus the colors are that of my Alma mater.
Great review!!, Very surprised how quick it lane shined, but it still hooks, however, with Polish it really changes. Imagine buying a 3.0 and it is absolutely too much for the house you bowl in. Hit it with the polish and you are back in business.
I have a 3.0 and found it went to stable after three games. I am considering putting a 4k finish on it for league. Then I would not have to refinish after three games.
What is interesting is HK22. From what I have seen it reacts differently in a hybrid/pearl than a solid. I have a radio active vibe and polished that thing is clean. Shoots down lane and makes a left turn hard to the pocket. When I sand it it is substantially early with a similar shape. My Troublemaker (no HK22) is actually a lot cleaner than the VIBE even though I put 3000 on the vibe. Now when I take my HK22 GB4 hybrid that ball is sideways compared to the Vibe and the troublemaker. It seems like the formulation does different things once pearl addatives are added. It also makes me wonder if there have been chemical differences from HK22 Gen 1 (2023) to now HK22 Gen 2 (2024). Could be why the 3.0 is earlier with similar backend.
Ron I know this an older video but I'm sure you know they now will be coming out with 3.0 platinum just like the 2.0 he can't wait to see your video comparison. Or maybe you and your pops could do a side-by-side review great video ❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍
I just got back into bowling after taking a few years off. My eqhipment was somewhat outdated. My UFO Alert still has some life left in it but doesnt have a good look in the first couple games of league play. I need something a tad more aggressive, something that gets a little more read through the front end. Bought a Global 900 Sublime and I'm not really in love with it. I've tinkered with the surface a bit and still not getting the reaction I'm looking for. I'm thinking just maybe, this might match up well with me. Our house shot is pretty lengthy, I'm slightly rev dominant. Any other solid you'd recommend over the 3.0? Want something that revs up early, reads early but stores energy well and explodes through the back end. My Sublime seems to skid a tad too long for my liking.
should try a 60x5x20 layout on the 3.0 at box finish vs. polished and tell me what you think the difference is compared to the layout out of box and polished on your current layout for this vid of 55x4 and a half by 30 and which one you like more or think performs better. i have all my bowling balls drilled at the 60by5by20 layout and thats my benchmark determining what i may want my next ball drilled similar to or almost completely opposite depending on the performance requirement i believe my personal ball should have. Note, i'm not a pro but im trying various things to see if there is something im going to hate or want to stay away from and haven't found it yet
First of all, shout out to you. Ron, you always have great reviews. Great content! Great information. I just bought that ball waiting for it to get drilled up on 70 years old. Well that is that balls somewhat like the brother grip, gym, pearl or something. I think I can do pretty good with it. I meant to say do you think I can do pretty good with it? Please give me a response. Great production as always😊
Solid video. Here's an odd question. I would love to 3d print the core to have on my desk as a decoration/fidget/weight etc. Is there anyway to get an STL or 3mf file of the core?
Yes, camera angles suffered due to placement and when you stepped to the side into the visual path as the ball rolled down the lane. it hid the entire visual lesson you were trying to convey. Make those adjustments please. you have a lot to offer us newbies....
Some of us did not realize you was a numbers guy. Having SIMONSEN on your Channel sparked interest with me and you Develop and Design Core Shape. PROPS. ENGINEERING. I asked my self this question: Why would someone that's a Bowler feel the need to be a ENGINEER? Now that makes perfect since. 👍

C.E.O., you're still relevant in core design. Gotta be satisfying.
I tore them pins a new a** today at league 203 279 209
I was at about 70% on my game as a bowler, it’s a morning league.
3.0 is just sick
Crazy games good shit

You should add the Hybrid in the video!!
Maybe next time
still a relatively new bowler and had the 2.0 as my first, and the 3.0 is coming in today!!! so excited
seems also like 3.0 hits the pins harder

How was the hammer envy compared to the new black widow 3.0
I just got my 3.0 can’t wait to use it. How would it be if I soak it in jacked
Mine will be delivered in a day or two. Can't wait and want to try it on my Friday night league. :)
I rarely bowl on lanes that need a ball that strong. The 2.0 Hybrid is perfect for me.

I am a senior bowler. And I love the 3.0. In three games of league I go from 2000 to stable. Sooo after league I use life after death and resurface.
Great idea

It's a good ball for sure. So I like your chances.
What would happen if you ceramic coat a new ball ,as far as not allowing any oil absorbency???????
Solid video. Here's an odd question. I would love to 3d print the core to have on my desk as a decoration/fidget/weight etc. Is there anyway to get an STL or 3mf file of the core?
You would need to ask a bowling ball manufacturer that question.
Which one do you think match up better with ghost pearl?
Thinking of buying one
You won't regret it
What is layout for 3.0 ball? Thanks!
I would like to join the staff to learn more about bowling. Please advise!

Do you have any full roller on staff that I could follow or do a ball review for us old heads
Unfortunately we don't

Would like to ask you to do a comparison between the black widow 3.0 and the legend if you could im a big fan of the widow line
What is the best way to clean and maintain the Black Widow 3.0 ?
ctdbowling.com/products/intro-kit
What do you think of a 2.0 pin up and 3.0 pin up
I ment 3.0 pin down
So could the 3.0 be more user friendly on long and be ur tank and the 2.0 solid be ur ball down?
That would work
Are these Nike polos gonna be available for sell?
