- The old dog is waiting for his owner that will never come back 😢😢😢 They abandoned an old boy in the rubbish area 😢 He is more than 8 years old and this really breaks my heart ☹️ It’s the worse thing they can do to a dog after many years to abandon him in the rubbish 😢 They know i go there every day that’s why they did it . They should be more brave and call me to ask me to help them dog and not to abandon him like that! I really can’t understand how they can do this , they pain they give to their animals when they abandon them is huge but they don’t care ! That’s terrible 😞😞😞…

And he is only one man. Unbelievable what they are capable of. He does the most but there are so many that need help because people are so selfish.
They beat them to death, starve them and poison. Seen all that on other islands. Mostly ignore them completely. Till they disappear and die somewhere.

You can tell how badly Takis feels for this pet. He gave him a lot of wet and dry food immediately ❤ I’m so happy Takis has family there to help him. It is too much for just one human.
Bravo Takis for always going past the dump looking for any strays.....the fact that he has food in the seat of the motor bike tells you how often he saves lives. Am thankful your brother was close for a quick transfer to the shelter... welcome to our shelter old boy.... happy tail coming soon. Bravo to all involved with this new arrival!

He's older and thin, he's so hungry, poor doggie! The people who abandon their dogs to live or die, like throwing away an unwanted object without regret, those people don't have a conscience. Exactly! I stopped wondering why people do this to animals because my mind can’t figure it out, even when I spend hours and hours with it. People who love animals like we do think in a different way than the people who abandon them! I have accepted some people just do.

Clearly “humans” who do this are stupid, evil, cowardly evil creatures. Seems to be alot of those in Greece. If they were decent, spiritually evolved, caring and responsible individuals, it would not happen. Sigh.

What a shame, how can people do this. Such a sweet boy too. It is just tragic. All a dog needs is food and shelter and they give so much love and loyalty in return. To abandon an old dog like this is so cruel.
Greece needs to hold people accountable for all this animal neglect and horrible abuse..Takis can't help them all...arrest need to begin ..and at the minimum..country, needs to begin a spade and neutering process..they don't need these God given gifts.

How can people be so cruel! The poor baby is so confused, why did my family leave me here, are they coming back for me? Animals have feelings and he is confused and devastated because he was thrown away like garbage and left alone by people he loves. The laws in Greece are fine and quite strict already. Sadly the government doesn’t see it as a priority to enforce the laws about animals. And this makes that police forces also don’t see it as important. Luckily in Takis’ part of the island is 1 very good police officer called Giannis Gaitanakis who is really dedicated to the wellbeing of animals.
