I just adopted one of 40 dogs confiscated from a horrible breeding situation. She spent 6 years in a cage just having babies and has been so scared. But she is coming along just fine and so happy to be with my other two rescues. Takis is the best!!! The world needs more like Takis!!! Bravo Takis!!! Angel Takis !!!!

I love that you adopted a breeding dog, I also did the same my little girl had been locked in a cage also she was 3 years old and had had six litters she was so scared of everything when I adopted her she is 9 years old now and the absolute love of my life. I also adopted another girl who was about to be put to sleep because she had a hernia so she was no use for breeding she was just 5 months old she is 3 years now and wonderful. I think rescue dogs are the best dogs in the whole world ❤
These two loving doggies NEVER EVER must be separated. Adopt them TOGETHER, or nothing! Lena and Petros are a match made in Heaven. They are MEANT to be with each other for the rest of their lives. So TAKIS: please, before any adoption of them is set, make sure they will GO TOGETHER. A nice home with a big backyard, a huge space for these angels can run together. May God help you. 💋❤❤🩹

They are adopted, I think, recently but separate homes 😢, I hope I am wrong . They belong to each other. But Takis knows what is best.

I don't believe that you need a shelter dog to compared to a breeder's dog to receive wonderful doggy love. I also believe that shelter dogs can pull from a deeper well because they knew what it was like not having a home. I rescued my first shelter puppy from the local shelter in April named Cleo. She is the kindest, sweetest dog that despite being malnourished and thin when I got her, she simply adores people. I take her with me whenever I can and she loves our little field trips. She gets pup cups, good scritches, and she plays with her friends at the dog park. Her best friend is a Boston terrier named Diesel and they love playing together. Cleo will be nine months old in a few days and she's nearly 65 pounds. She truly is my best friend and she has kept me afloat during one of the hardest periods of my life. She can be in the other room and she'll sense that I'm either in pain, anxious, or otherwise and she'll come snuggle up to me. I pet her face and snoodle as she sleeps and I love when she curls up on me/tries to smother me with her whole body. I couldn't do it without her. She loves cuddling up in my lap and we'll eat gummy worms, uncooked ramen with the seasoning packet (her absolute favorite!), carrots, chips - I share all my snacks with her and spoil her rotten. There hasn't been a single person I've met that has interacted with Cleo and hasn't fallen in love with her immediately. I take her to a lot of different stores but she has so much fun at Home Depot and recently we've been going to Target. She knows exactly who has treats for her, she's been nicknamed "The Depot Dog", and the employees there always look forward to our visits. They've seen her as a puppy that only weighed ten pounds to being an absolute tank with giant paws she still has to grow into. There are many special dogs but Cleo is extra special. Her smile could melt an iceberg and I couldn't ask for a better bestie ❤
I remember watching this and thinking, what are the odds that these two would meet and be so happy? One of the loveliest and heartwarming stories.Thank you Takis for making it possible.
My husband was raised with chained dogs n had his own on a chain..then he met me..i sleep with my dog n take him places like ball games n camping..he still thinks they belong outside n built a fence for mine i was so happy n he was so bummed when i put in a doggie door lol..told himi can not live without a dog on my house ..now i am working on cat

Ich erinnere mich an Lena und pedros. Takis hat sie gerettet darüber bin ich froh. Jetzt leben sie gemeinsam zusammen. Das war so schön denn sie sind unzertrennlich geworden. Ich hoffe das pedros und Lena zusammen die Chance haben und adoptiert werden. Pedros war ja schon traurig als Lena kastriert worden ist und nicht bei ihm war. 🌍🌎❤️ seeing this video.😮 How dogs need a friend, just like us.😮 Fighting tears watching this as we think about a foster we had who was on a chain, he had a doorless fridge for his shelter. He was one of 6 dogs living like that. Adopted now and living a wonderful life. Way to go Charlie! 😊

I remember this story well. I am BEGGING ANYONE who is interested in Lena or Petros to please adopt them *together* . I have seen the results of separating bonded dogs and it is NOT good.

If in Greece or elsewhere 1% of profit/tax would go towards animal welfare majority of issue would not exist. It is that simple. Look at Santorini, shit lots of money from tourism each year. If they pitched 1% to have the cats fixed one year and enough to feed the lot properly with decent sherter stations around the island.

I just checked and it's another Lena who was adopted recently. Different dogs. All good !
