Hey Ryan! Hope you and Mariel are doing well! After 2 years of inactivity on my account, I am looking to get back into merch. I got snowed in this week and just started designing and now I'm obsessed all over again. I forgot how fun it was to pump out 100 ideas a day. Trying to revive my account, so will let you know how it goes. Hopefully activity jumps up after I start uploading again daily. Canva's AI tool has been super helpful. I don't have to spend forever looking for graphics that are specific enough to meet my need. Love to see how much your account and channel has grown. Just wanted to stop by and say hi!
After being on 10 different platforms at the same time...for me it is not worth spending time on those where you do not have control of the price. The work is excessive for what you can get in return. I prefer to dedicate that time to improving designs or stores like Amazon, Etsy and Ebay, which for me are the only ones that are worth it. Not to mention the mysterious store closures without explanation...I suppose there will be very well-positioned sellers who will find it worth it. Or they have a battalion of Filipinos coming up and creating for you...
Well, you do usually suggest people copy the bestseller. Not going to work. The right way of thinking would be … “ok, this “dumb bass” design is selling, so people love fish puns. Lemme brainstorm and come up with some other funny fish puns and be the first to sell those.”
Are your uploads getting rejected? (you mean Amazon Merch?) if you are using a chrome extension or app to check trademarks, I recommend goign direct to the source. I dont know any apps that do a good job getting trademark checks correct
Hello, Roketfy is only for Etsy currently, and you have to use their integrations for fulfillment as far as i know. I am not sure what their plans are regarding the future in terms of integrating new options for fulfillment or platform integrations.

I have held back on Etsy because I do not want to have to deal with customer service.
I understand that 👍 that's where I am at now, too many competing priorities. I avoid offering customization for the most part
I'm hitting a roadblock uploading onto Amazon actually. Over 90% of the words I want to use for my designs are trademarked.

Is there a way to sell POD on Amazon outside of Amazon Merch?
Yeah, these guys use Seller Central and a third party fulfillment company like printful or Printify.
Yes, Amazon Seller Central is a great option. it is how 99% of Amazon products are listed.
