We just moved here too. We may go back to the USA for a portion of the rainy season though so my parents can see their grand kids, I absolutely love this Country and its refreshing to see more younger people come vs old sexpats. We just drive through La union in March this year going up to Ilocos Norte. I think we stayed in San Fernando at an Airbnb as I recall. Welcome home.
Welcome! I hope you guys are settling in well too. We also plan to go back to the States at least once a year too. We still have family there as well. But we’ll probably go during the sunny months 😅 even though we’re from WA, we aren’t huge fans or the cold and rainy haha. Thank you for watching fam!
How cool! I hear you mentioning San Fernando a few times. Me and my wife are considering moving to San Fernando, Pampanga in about 2 years. Is that the SF you’re talking about?
He is talking about the San Fernando up in La Union along the coast in northwest Luzon. Pampanga-San Fernando is a solid pick because you have Clark nearby and a lot of amenities. The downside is its more expensive and if you enjoy the beach then you are going to have to drive a long distance, or fly out of clark. My wifes family from Zambales, we chose 30 minutes northwest of Subic in San Antonio. I am happy with our choice.
@@raneilalonzo fresh fruit juices are pretty easy to find along the streets or at some markets 🥤 fresh cows milk I haven’t seen yet though, will update you if we see it though :)
@@HenryandHailee Thanks! I'm planning on visiting in a couple of months and I want to as close as possible to continue eating pro-metabolic (Ray Peat style). Here's hoping to be able to do that in the Philippines. Have fun over there!
@@M2m-Dck I was born here so I’m just returning back home, I’ve been bouncing back from the PH and the USA for the last 33 years so I’m very aware about the reality here both positive and negative. For us the positives definitely outweigh the negatives in our case. 👍😁
I think it may differ depending on what country you are in 🤔 but for where we are from (USA) to fly with a service dog they need to be trained as a service dog and you have to fill out the DOT paperwork prior to you flying attesting that your dog has been trained to perform a task to assist with a disability along the name of the trainer or training organization and a few other of their guidelines that you’ll have to follow. Keep in mind this is if you require your service dog to fly with you in the cabin. If you don’t, then you will have to crate your dog and they can fly in cargo for a fee.

What kind of credentials needed for service dog?
"MONEY". Philippines is extremely corrupt country.
