You should try Charlie Wanton Special located at mandaluyong. The beef noodle soup (SPECIAL BEEF MAMI) is the best, and also the dumplings are so big the taste and consistency is superb. The restaurant is Filipino-Chinese fusion mix.
for siopao i prefer bola-bola over asado because asado is sometimes too sweet and i like the variety of stuff inside good bola-bola (pork meatball, chicken meat, egg, chorizo)
You should also try visiting Baclaran Seohee, there's a 24 food bazaaar there now at the church parking lot and they also have Ugbo, I would recommend in Ugbo the Fried Chicken with fried rice by Chef Duay!

I hope you don't get food poisoning from the ice. Does the Estero smell bad in that area?
