@@ultimatebreak827 Hopefully they do because the only soundtrack we got that’s based on or from a Nintendo property is the 1993 Super Mario Bros. Movie soundtrack and Almost Unreal by Roxette.

At the moment I saw this video from the Game Awards, I started thinking about when someone will upload a video like this with the original music. Thank you.
Bro this soundtrack is gonna be a treat to listen to. The amount of references in this one section alone gets me HYPED for what the rest will have in store.
I hope this movie score/music comes out as top best. If they used Bowser's Castle or Rainbow Road songs, heck even Donkey Kong or Yoshis Island, this is going to be the best videogame movie I've ever seen
0:38 I don't know why, but the whole elevator section to the moment they get to the castle reminds me a LOT of the Mario vs Donkey Kong series. The instruments, the little leitmotif. Listen I could be crazy and I’ve only seen this movie once but I SWEAR when Mario and peach finished their little training montage and they were looking out over a cliff into an abyss of clouds and some plateaus I heard a tiny bit of Hyrule field playing almost like they were looking out into the boarder between the mushroom kingdom and hyrule.
For everyone who complain about the Sonic Movies, remember that this movie has literally Nintendo working REALLY closely with Illumination (not just little notes or few people from Nintendo): Bryan Tyler and Koji Kondo are working together at the soundtrack. Instead SEGA is still less involved with Paramount, aside for few people like Tyson Hesse. Yeah, the 2nd movie especially feels kinda empty without the games music, but I'm still glad that they where able(in the 2nd movie) to adapt a lot of stuff(like Knuckles and his lore*) so faithfully, and I hope that in the future other people, like Ian Flynn or Tee Lopes, will come to work at these movies. So, I'm happy for Sonic and I'm happy for Mario. Ah yeah, and the 3rd movie really needs Live & Learn(and the writers has said that they want to incorporate more music, stuff and people from the games). *still hopes for the Knuckles series
Why can we get something like that in the Sonic movies. Hopefully they would add Live and Learn & I am (All of me) in the third movie. Or at least a variant of it.
As much as I enjoyed the iconic Green Hill zone being orchestrated for the live action Sonic movies, the soundtrack for the Mario movie sounds like it will be much easier to recognise various pieces of music from the franchise in comparison.
