ANA is litterrally the best flight company. They may not have the spacious spaces and etc. But they've always had amazing service. As a child flying alone between my parents (as they were divorced) i was taken care of by such amazing flight attendants. I actually had one buy me a pikachu doll when i was distressed. I still have the doll to this day lol
Ever since i was a child, i flew ANA, usually economy, but i still loved the airline. Ive flew other airlines on economy but it just doesnt compare. Maybe its just nostalgia, maybe not, but I think i'll never stop flying ANA on economy
I've got a 10 hour layover in JFK in a couple weeks that I'm planning on pushing pretty close so I can have more time exploring the TWA hotel and going to the pool (flight leaves at 815 and the pool opens at 7 lol)
A spectacular product, flawless service and Japanese hospitality…. ANA is top of the list when Japan finally opens. Thanks so much for sharing, hopefully you’re recovered from this epic jaunt!! 🇯🇵🙏🥂
One time flying economy class on ANA over the Ryukyu Islands I asked the flight attendant for some help identifying islands from the window and the route map. My language skills were good enough for me to speak with her in Japanese. Just before landing she came back to me with an ANA postcard on which she had drawn a caricature of me with a little thank you message. There weren't many people on that flight so I guess she had some extra time, but still she certainly did not need to do that. She was being friendly. I still have that postcard. Nobody beats the Japanese when it comes to hospitality services. ANA and JAL are great airlines. Japan's airports are great too. It might seem crazy, but I used to look forward to my usual 4 hour layover at Kansai airport. I liked the architecture and restaurants.
I'll be flying in 'The Room' in 2 weeks time, and very excited to see how it feels. It'll be my first time flying Business, so really looking forward to it!
There certainly are differences with what different airlines call "Business Class" and "First Class". This suite looked superior to some First Class offerings on some other airlines.
Plan to fly ANA F from the US soon. This did look great for business class but I think it will be awhile before any airline passes Q-suites for business class. I cant wait to do Q-suites again
Thanks for the review. I used to live in Japan. One thing about Japan: the facilities are always clean, the food is always fresh, the service is always excellent, and the toilets are the world's best. Some customers may weigh these factors more than having a better seat, or cabin space, etc. The soft power of Japan's style goes a long way!
I got bumped up to this from Premium Economy on my flight to study abroad and I could not have been happier. The bed was so lovely and the food was delicious.
I'll be flying with ANA from JFK to Haneda and then on to Jakarta with a final destination in Bali. I'll be flying Business class roundtrip. I absolutely need the space and I'm never flying economy again. This looks fabulous.
I sure hope you bought that Green Tea Kitkat! :-) I do regret not getting my usual kitkat stash from my last trip to Japan November 2019 before everything closed down. Another great video and a fair review! Keep em coming Will! I have always liked ANA because most of their flights land in Haneda and its easy to hop on to Hokkaido, Osaka or Fukuoka. Aside from that the Japanese courtesy and service. But what i like about the Terminal and the lounge is the FOOD! Love the curry and the ramen. Makes you think not minding having a 12 hour lay over (non pandemic times of course) because of the food selection and cleanliness! :-)
I love how this dude said in the Air Canada review that he never shows peoples' faces in his videos (after blasting frequent flyer youtubers who do) and then what do you know, he uploads a video that quite clearly shows another passenger's face, several times too.
love the videos, 5 stars to every one. You have very articulate presentations and widely understandable descriptions. I enjoyed the free travel... lol. Keep traveling, stay safe, and God bless.
Simply amazing Will thanks again for your demo of the “Room “ I really liked the cutlery as well but as we know chop sticks rule with the Japanese cuisine😅
Really funny that you used Nickelback to portray Canada. That gave me the biggest laugh out of this video, somehow... I thought you were going to use "O Canada" or Celine Dion, but Nickelback was perfect.
I can't wait to try this out, hoping to go to Japan in 2023 restrictions willing. Its been a trip in planning for years and I'm getting excited watching these videos.
Yes it is in my opinion. Have been travelling all classes since 1978 including NH around 45 times and find it a great airline especially on the ground as well. You can fly JKT/TYO/JFK incl "Room" leg for 4k AUD return, great value in J and upgrade to F on points occasionally but no real difference. Good articles and trips explained and well done always. PS NH technically very safe and were launch carrier for 787s and Boeing did not mind as they were veryserious about all technicalaspects. I flew on first domestic 787 plane to Matsuyama and both captains had round 20 hours on that new aircraft although probably 30k between them.
Brilliant vid, cheers! The room looked elegant and understated. You must be knackered! What? No turn down service? "I'll change into my slippers to provide some degree of comfort" says the dude travelling in business class!😂😂😂
*Top Travel Tip* If you're running late for a flight, don't walk the wrong way on the moving walkway... it actually slows you down :-D But seriously, love the videos, keep it up mate!
I miss Japan so very much. There were 5 years that I was traveling to Tokyo for pleasure and family twice a year and now being landlocked I look back and consider myself completely spoiled. P.s. love those toilets too, how can you not, right? Can you share how you are able to afford these wonderful classes of flight? I have watched your previous videos but I would like an update on what you have learned and what works best for you. Please and thank you. Wish you the best and I will certainly subscribe to the magazine offer.
I flew economy with ANA recently from Brussels to Tokyo and was blown away with everything about it. The only comparable operator right now is Singapore Airlines.
Best air travel vlogger in my book and I watch quite a few. Have watched a lot of your content, first class! Would love to see more frequent videos but I guess it’s expensive and not the best times around the globe. Keep up the good work mate 💙
Your videos are great however in this video, less than half of this video is actually showing the flight review and even then, it’s largely b-roll and voice overs. I think showing more if the inflight experience in real time like other reviews would be beneficial.
I like his video pacing for the most part, but you are right. Many of his reviews feel rushed through, specially at the main part. All these "review" videos are really travel porn. It's not like most people really want to evaluate business or first class options, we just want to see travel in style. This requires more in-depth.
@@samuelperezgarcia exactly, you see him travel first class and it looks rather lack lustre as if he flew on a 30 minute flight. He has great editing skills and is witty so he has the potential to be so much better.

I love ANA.... even their Economy Premium was the best in that class I ever flew. I hope ANA can still offer the same great food and service now with the flu constraints, but I guess I will never get the chance to find out.
With our South Africa trip slowly turning into but a faint dream, I had given some thought to burning a boat load of VS miles, you are right, with only one plan having the seat it will be in first (plus let's be honest here, the food in first in a big step up from business) but as the new seat makes it's way into the fleet ANA could certainly be an option over JAL if I have to pay for the flight. BTW, you made a comment on flying to and from Japan and what it does to the body clock...A few years back a friend of mine got a job with a multi national, his job was to take paperwork to two offices each week, sounded easy and the pay was good...The only problem was, well this was his week : LHR-SFO-LHR-HKG-LHR with the odd NRT thrown in......
