Good morning! I just love your videos. You are an excellent creator and teacher. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with the quilting community!
Ok, so this is the stocking I’m going to make for the person receiving the largest Christmas gift this year. I had so much fun making the smaller stocking. I actually forgot to lay the reverse of the stocking out properly and ended up with two of the same stocking and had to make another one. 🙄 I got it right and made just the cutiest stocking out of a fabric called winter wonderland. I need to go fabric shopping now. Thank you Jessica. I’m so glad my sister introduced me to your channel.
I love how simple this pattern/tutorial is! I’ve made two so far and it’s a great practice for sewing squares together, with the nesting. My favorite part is the quilting. Thank you, Jessica for the patterns and tutorials! I think yours is the best. Keep them coming!
Thank you, Jessica. Great Christmas stocking. One year when I was a teenager, I crocheted myself a large Christmas stocking of alternating rows of red and green yarn. My thought was my parents would fill it with more goodies! Ha! They filled up the toe. I still put out the stocking 40 plus years later. Hopefully these stockings will be filled! Already made with love! Marion
Hello! I love your stocking tutorials. I have made 4 so far. Can't wait to see how you add names. Keep the small project ideas coming. I love love quick projects. :)
I’m going to make a large one with binding for my grandson - sooo cute! I was just thinking about how I’d put his name on it and you mentioned the name tag- looking forward to it. Thank you!
Made the mini stocking and it is so cute. I showed it to my daughter and she wants me to stuff one for my grand doggie ❤. Now going to make the big ones. Thanks for sharing your patterns.
That's exactly how I made mine too! Yours are so pretty. I didn't even think about putting names on them so I will definitely want to see you do that tomorrow. Thanks Jessica.
I’d love to see one done with a pattern where we could do a small quilt block (maybe a star) as a focal point….I’m currently trying to figure one out this morning but it gets frustrating when you’re learning to do new things. Love your guidance on your projects. Thanks in advance
All of these stockings are so cute. You do have some great fabric for them. One question: How would I attach a cuff? I like a cuff with a name on it. Your tutorials are very clear and fun to watch. Thank you for the Christmas inspiration.
Thanks! They are from Christmas collections that I have been collecting over the past few years. Whenever I see one I like, I get it and put it aside for Christmas projects.
I noticed that you do not appear to have a repeat in you mini charms. I do not have that luxury as I am using fabric from a Christmas quilt to coordinate the stocking. I have 10 different designs two being a solid. Any suggestion with regards to layout? And were both side of the stocking exactly the same - only in reverse. Thank you for your help.

My husband's family always used giant stockings. So, we have had giant ones for our children. I always have to think creatively when I'm filling them!

Love the stockings! Have you considered using a twin needle to speed up the quilting process?
Thanks! No, I really haven't given that any thought!
I love this. How about a cuff?
❤
Squeee!!! Love your big stocking!! Just started my first little one this morning.
Where did you get your CUTE fabrics??
Thanks! They are from Christmas collections that I have been collecting over the past few years. Whenever I see one I like, I get it and put it aside for Christmas projects.
@jessica_dayon I'm on the hunt for cutesy fabrics. Love all your videos!

What is your stitch length when you sew the stocking on the batting?
I used a 3.
Hi Jessica are the squares 2.5”.
Yes. They are cut at 2.5" so they finish at 2".
What foot could I substitute for my 790 Pro. I do not have a 34D ---- Yet!!!
The 790 PRO comes with 1C and that would work.
@@jessica_dayon Thank you. 💙
Love it!
