I've had my white one 2 months and done about 650 miles on it and loved every one. As you say an amazing machine. I agree about the quickhifter and only use it when pushing on(most of the time) Find it hard to fault except for the slightly bland looks which you forget about as soon as you start riding. Took mine for a 4 hr blast a couple of weeks a go and overtook every bike I saw no matter what it was. Its so easy to ride fast. Best £7000 I've spent. Its a second bike for me but now the 1st bike I grab the keys for when I go for a ride. Try one if you haven't but be warned you'll want to buy one when you do.
You can use the clutch with one finger anyway, as it is VERY smooth and doesn't need any strength at all. First time I pulled the clutch, I had to take a look on the right side of the motor, to see if the cable is attached lol.
Great video! Your laughter and woops said it all! I had a test ride on this bike. Same spec i think, but white. I don't know why ppl are saying it's ugly! My wife and i love its looks. I was buzzing for days after the ride. Awesome bike, great handling, and is so going to be bought by me very soon.
Love the laughter and shreeks of joy, seems like quite a fun bike, great sound too. Glad you included turning traction control off in your video. Shows what the bike is really like! I hear a lot of people saying some middle weight bikes lack power but in my opinion its more of a testament as to how good traction control has got. I ended up buying a Ducati Supersport which some think is under powered, turn off all the electronics and its a different bike. Cant go much faster after the wheel comes up anyway!
I Bought one in yellow, love that bike. It’s my first bike, so for now it has plenty of power for me😂 it’s a really fun bike and it does pull harder than the mt07.
I test rode this and I loved it. Was manually blipping down shifts and chucking it into corners way faster than I usually would - this bike really encourages this sort of riding. The back wheel would even start to slide a bit. Then out of the corner rev it fully out. It was amazing tbh. Noticed the rear shock was a little bouncy. But, nothing as bad as what people are making it out to be. Unfortunately for me, 6ft 1'', I did find it a little cramped. My bum was hurting after less than 30 mins (although I had just ridden the GSX-8S just before, so take that with a pinch of salt) and was constantly pressed up against the passenger seat. At traffic lights I found I sometimes stood with the bike between my legs like a bicycle because it was so ridiculously short. I would say the steering and agility is what really stood out for me. Felt a lot like my Giant road bicycle. Second what stood out was the engine. Has a tonne of character and revs up really quick delivering really good power for the road. I am really tempted to buy even though I don't fit well - that should tell you something. Well done Honda. But please, what on earth were you thinking with that styling. Give us a sport bike version quickly please, at least you know how to design those. Also, please don't make it so cramped.
The 8S had a lot more midrange torque but doesn't last all the way to the top. It was more of a muscle bike than a corner carver. The torque was the only thing that was addictive about that bike. It wasn't particularly agile, think Suzuki SV650 - neutral handling, not particularly fast steering. Still, the suspension was better than the Honda. It wasn't cramped either, I had space. Engine note wasn't as nice as the Honda. That's one thing that really made me like the Honda actually. I didn't particularly like the way the 8S sounds. It also vibrated a bit. TBH, I would look at the Aprilia Tuono or RS600 at that price range, and if u can stretch, maybe even a triumph street triple. @@florme6494

Hi mate, great video, I’m tempted by one but you put in the thumbnail ‘this is why it’s so cheap’ so why is it so cheap? What’s the catch? You don’t say in the video???
Tho I'm not a huge fan of the retro cafe racer look, the CB650R is one sexy bike. But it is way more a commuter cruiser IMO. People gave the Hornet shit for being a 2 cylinder engine, but that one is just so fun and agile, it feels more like what a Hornet should be in my opinion, than my 2005 Hornet. And my 05er has all the possible upgrades to suspension, brakes and even carb jets fitted to my exhaust and intake. I love my bike, but the new Hornet is IMO just fun on another level.
Bought the CB500 Hornet 2024 as a second bike. My primary is a S1000RR. Some people prefer the 500 over the 750 for some reason. Anyway, recommended. I would say that the Suzuki 8S presents some serious completion for the 750 though....
All who have been getting the SC project are going to be kicking themselves when they discover the Leo VInce LV Race exhaust that is soon to be released!
I like the looks of the Hornet, apart from the headlight. I really don't like these insect like headlights bikes have these days, I'd put a round headlight on it and, for me personally, that would be great.
or an Oval-type Headlight like those on the Ducati Monsters, similar to a BMW 1200R. But at least they didn't copy Yamaha, the headlight used on their bikes is Awful.
Even though it's pretty much the same headlight as the CB500, it does fit the name, because it looks like a hornet's head. But I can see why people aren't too crazy about the insect headlights. The new MT07 looks awful.

A bike producing this much power does not need a 180 section rear tyre, unsprung weight is very inportant, large rear tyres and front discs are just showroom bling,
Sounds like a sewing machine at city speeds. Of course nothing compares to my Harley V-twin but even my Triumph America sounds better. Opening it up on the highway helps.
I love and Respect Honda a lot but the Headlight is a thing only a Mother (ore the „Designer“) could love….
it has a crap triple clamp... just look at its transalp's bros one...
also "neo honda" wrong position horn/indicator button.
that bike was coking on gasssss :)
It looks cheap with that ugly headlight, that being said I definitely will buy one of it comes to the states
Just stupid constantly taking both hands off the bike. If you want to be taken seriously I think you need to address that.
that pornstar example lool agree with you
If you put that 750 engine in the 2022 cb 500f chassis, you would have a great motorcycle. They need to improve the looks of this bike. It’s mossing something, or it’s that ugly ass exhaust
£600 for the SC? Try £900
Power, engine breaking, traction control modes. Paying for stuff experienced motorcyclists don't need, because we control all that stuff with the throttle.
Well did you like it?😁😂
