I love the MBUNA setup so cool. I also like you added a turtle that is cool glad you added a reptile to the mix. Can’t wait to see the updates on the turtle. Definitely need to add more shrimp and leave it as a shrimp tank. Unless you want to put a betta in it but you would need a lid. The fish look amazing thank you for showing the progress.
Great Mbuna set ups! Patience pays off and will continue to do so! I still love your predator haps! They all have stunning colors! Great Video. Thanks!
Big unboxing and cool fish combinations bro...Cant wait for them to grow and colour up...The way you spell out all their scientific names tells how deep knowledge u have about them. Yes I'll advive to add more 10 fishes in future to 180 and I'll love to see the shrimp tank or u can use the nano tank to have a betta fish.😊
Where do you guys buy your tanks from? I'm looking to get a 90 gallon to move my jack dempsey into but I can't find them for sale anywhere. The biggest one I can buy is 75
Love amazing Alec! Awesome dude 😎. Just wondering, I’m planning on setting up a 180 mbuna setup too being my absolute fav, curious if you have a total number for your 180? Thanks guys and keep it up! Love the channel being still new to the hobby
I'm new to the fish hobby and have 2 tanks set-up, one for the smaller fish to grow big enough to be introduced to the larger tank. We've had a problem with our striped convicts constantly breeding and so have separated the two, leaving mum in the big tank and not fussing too much on what happens with the fry. Since separating the convicts I've noticed an albino male convict stepping in to be the father to these fry. Ive seen it many times over with females adopting others offspring but I've never once seen or heard of a male taking on the role other than humans. Is this a common thing with fish? Should I be watching the albino and the striped convicts for future fry? I've only been in the hobby for around 6 months and have only just recently introduced 3 white convicts to the larger tank and don't know if they are know to breed with other types of their kind?
I have owned a southern painted turtle for the last 11ish years. It's no more than 5 inches. And it is easiest the meanest turtle i have owned, which is surprising because it was also the smallest.
What do you have for filtration on that first tank with all of the yellow ones and the blue demisoni, I see one intake of an FX6 just. Wondering if You Have a sump as well or another Filter behind that background.🤔
Does a lot of waste and detritus Build up behind that background I've seen some people take those off and there was nothing but Brown muck And c*** behind there.
Crazy stuff going on with my cichlids! a week ago my female kennyi was holding and some are starting to hatch and now my Turkana Jewel had laid eggs for the 8th time!
I really think one of you should get an electric blue crayfish. They can be hit or miss, but they’ve done well in African cichlid tanks in the past or with other top swimmers or fish that can swim away if their claws get a little nippy.
I am setting up a South American tank I am being told by the local fish store. That I will need 5 inches of sand to keep toxic gasses from being released

Hey Man, can you let me know what your quarantine process involves for mbuna in terms of medication you’re using and time in QT? Thanks

Yeah it’s a FX6 and Sicce whale 500. The whale intake is behind background. FX6s wouldn’t fit
Thank you

Thank you!
@@CichlidBros very welcome! And happy holidays to the cichlid bros!🎄
U know what’s a nice rare mbuna that would also look amazing in ur tank is the Chindongo saulosi mbuna

Did you add any new electric circuits for the fish room ?
Nope. I just have a surge protector per tank
Where did you get the rock background?
Aqua Decor
Thanks
What kind of light is that for the turtle tank?
UVA UVB Reptile Light - amzn.to/47xXCGP
I am setting up a South American tank I am being told by the local fish store. That I will need 5 inches of sand to keep toxic gasses from being released
I have a fully colored up jalo reef hap not the mbuna. It looks so much like a saltwater fish!
Awesome
Nice tanks but now you need a lake Tanganyikan tank.
Can you put link for the turtle light
Here you go! amzn.to/47xXCGP
More shrimp imo
Why does your fish have so many black spots. That’s not normal. You shoulda addressed that before adding more!! Imo
I explain it in the video. They’re fine.
