No one fights like this anymore. All these traditional techniques r useless in modern fighting. U cannot use these moves w d speed of attacks coming in in modern fighting. Offence wins d fight. U hav no time for such traditional defensive moves or stances. U hav no time to block & trap. Another fist would've hit u before u can even do ur 2nd motion. Punches will b coming in 3 in one sec. U hav no time for this stuff. No one will cooperate in a real fight nor can u set up these moves. Try it in d ring w real attacks.
This instructor has never been in a real fight to think that this stuff actually works in a real fight.
Yes, totally apply to modern ring fight is not that applicable. Yet it's important to preserve the idea from ancestor as well.
Rules & situation can be changed. Among counless situation in future, we dont know which part of technique is useful, dont u think so?
