Never cared too much for Gen IV--just a personal preference thing--but Gen V clicked for me. The region, the Pokemon, the Gym Leaders/Elite Four, the sprite work, the music! Everything. Much as I enjoyed the first two gens, having grown up with them, neither they nor anything since has come close. Here's hoping they do the inevitable remakes justice down the line.
Agreed. 1st time of Phys/spec split, great theme, story, and LOTS of postgame features. I still like today's game, but both platinum, HGSS and BW remained my personal favorites
Pokemon White 2 was my childhood...unfortunately ive never completed it because I kept on leveling up my emboar....yes I like emboar...sue me

I honestly can't imagine feeling like that when visiting NYC. Only one city here has a skyline with actual skyscrapers, and it isn't nearly as many
The first city in Pokemon that actually looked like a real life city....and this music made it feel like it as well.

Technically they are from Humilau City consider this is Black and White. If you wanna be more obscure, the Motostoke bells technically date as far back as you Slateport City.
The drums are also the same samples from SwSh

2. Castelia City is celebrating the heroes of Black and White.
3. The paper factory just blew up

I remember walking into the main circular street, and seeing the camera pan up to show this huge city, nothing like anything I'd ever seen in Pokemon before, and I think I'll never forget that moment.
This is the city Goldenrod and Jubilife wish they could be. It feels so big, so realistic. I like Lumiose but it and every subsequent capital city still can't beat Castelia and it's dope tunes. Thanks for another great remix, Zame!

A few weeks ago I replayed White 2 and I descovered a secret passage in Castelia sewers, which brings you in an alley where a rock band is playing. Unova never stops surprising me even after 8 years

Ah yes, the tune i'd hear when getting a fire stone to evolve my panseer in White and constantly hear when traveling to the sewers to get to the hidden park to catch me some eevee's in White 2.

I love it. The city’s tune gives a happy melody while telling its story. Happy ports, dazzling sights, gorgeous fountains and yes, everyone may being in a hurry to get to work but they match to beat of the their drum. Work nine to five, but still the city gives them glee. It’s never boring in castelia city!
Replayed Black 2 a couple of weeks ago, and this is easily one of my favourite cities in Pokemon. The soundtrack for it is up there too, so I love this remaster!

BW1 was the first new gen that I followed since reveal... I started when DP had already come out, though Emerald was my first game. So much nostalgia of listening to that one recreation of Castelia on RUclips while imagining my first team.

Honestly I'm crying because I had so many good many amazing memories tied to Pokemon and other great games. This song was one of my favorites from when I was but a tiny tot. It's just so amazing how powerful a song can be.

Castelia City... I remember the first time I explored it, I was on an Amtrak NE Regional train passing under the real life Marvelous Bridge. Looking out the window and realizing I was exploring that same exact city in the game I held in my hand was just such a magical moment. I love BW so much.
