Oh, it's that time again where I get to live my sacred memory again of finally catching Entei in a DuskBall in National Park followed by my DSi turning off
Sorry mate, but Entei can't be encountered in the National Park. ;)
@@Lugiox well it roams Johto, so it's possible for it to be in National Park, unless it's coded specifically to not go to National Park for some reason

I swear, I remember encountering Entei in National Park in HG/SS, it was during sunset and it was in one of the "corners"
I got my raikou around their with a great ball. It carried me through the whole game lol

G/S/C version is amazig and super nostalgic, but there's something in this version that makes it even better. It shares a rythm of peace that is hard to describe. I bloody love gen 2
This is one of my favorite pieces in all of Pokemon, and you did it more than justice with this gorgeous remaster
National park was so fun as a kid. I feel like I’m the only one who did the bug catching contests every week lmao.
You're not the only one lol. Catching a pinsir was one of the highlights of my childhood
Beating Cooltrainer Nick's Pinsir with a beedrill was one of my biggest suck-it moments in pokemon
I did them a lot once I got the National Dex. It was cool to see Bug-Types from other generations show up there!
No matter how often I hear this melody, it will always bring me peace of mind.
You did an excellent job with this one
Just woke up after a hurricane came by and that piano at the beginning encapsulates the feeling of waking up to the calm ending

These games helped me escape depression as a very young child.
Every single song and pokemon cry is embedded into my heart and mind.
Grown man that works construction jobs and I am about as tough as nails now.
But these songs genuinely make me break down sometimes. I wish I could go back to these times because I wouldn’t be around if I hadn’t had these cherished memories.
If I am ever on the edge of reality and darkness is all I can see I listen to this stuff and it brings me back. I would trade a life of luxury just to keep these precious memories inside.
I don’t care what anyone says, these were the best games ever made in history.
The entire Gen 2 OST is slept on by the Pokémon community, nearly all the battle themes are bangers, City themes are unique and varied, and some hidden gems aswell, Viridian Forest and National Park of some of my favorite one offs, we need more Gen 2 Rep!

So, when I was a kid Silver was my first game, and for some reason I adored the National Park soundtrack. HGSS comes out and I recall feeling let-down at the new song used for this area of the game. I guess kid me didn't know taste (believe me, my music preference changed drastically from kid to adult) because years later as a young adult I truly realize how amazing this soundtrack is, and now it sits close to the top of the list of my favorite songs in the Pokemon franchise. This remix is fantastic! I enjoy it even more than the original, which is actually difficult to do, so bravo.

I like the E-guitar parts in this, It reminds me of its use in a lot of Gen 4 post game stuff i.e. battle frontier brain, and in raikou's theme.

I remember this constantly being in ears during the bug catching contest and then being angry that I couldn't catch scyther. Then I also, remember a song called "The Mann" from the soundtrack of Need for Speed; Most Wanted. Guess I can't help, but enjoy the peace being shattered from escaping a police helicopter in a Subaru doing 240 MPH down the freeway.
