- Today we're painting a whimsical landscape in Blues, greens and yellows.
Thanks for joining me this year in this watercolor journaling journey. I hope to paint in my journal most days of the year and invite you to join me. We don't need big resolutions, just gentle intentions to tend to our creative soul a little bit everyday. And learn a little something along the way.

This folk art style is my favorite. 🙂
I love whimsical folk art and this is a great painting to approach the style. Thanks for another fun video!
I think I’d add some cows or sheep, and a couple of birds. Lovely
I love your videos, I’m learning so much! Your “mountains” remind me of standing stones.
Shana, I love how the Qor watercolors flow, except when I'm not patient enough to let them dry. When I look at this fun piece I see not big hills in the background but funky trees. I am going to try this tomorrow. Thank you for sharing!
"The sky was yellow and the sun was blue 🎶
Yeah! I LOVE when you do the folk art!! 👏👏👏👏
I wish you had a book showing your wonderful whimsical paintings ❤. I’m more into abstract but your paintings are as close to realism as I’ll attempt. Thank you for your inspiration 🙏
It could be an illustration of an Ursula Leguin book!
I love these!!!!
Great fun. I've been wrapped up in challenges. My brain was on overload. This was so relaxing and fun! Thanks so much. I'm going to add some birds. But I tend to overwork. So stopping there! I hope.
I did the blue darker. It looked a lot better and I used a little more green. thanks for the lesson. I'm going to add some white to the bushes that you have in the back Love it!
Thank you for this video. This style helps me get into my painting grove🥰
I LOVE your folk art style! 😍🥰
Love this...enjoy listening to your calm tone. ❤❤
I'm so far behind, but I have this schetched out and can't wait to put paint to it. Thank you for the daily challenges and helpful guidance.
Just love your water colour journal 🤗
Love me some whimsical folk art! Did you say you used pthalo blue and Paynes gray for the moon? Thanks Shana 😊❤
Loved this, Shana ….!!
I need a new watercolor journal or sketchbook…recommendations? I would put sheep in the distance
