Nope. Tekken 8 was far more exciting. Was designed that way too. Tekken 7 was far too defensive. It was "poke, poke, poke, back dash, poke, back dash, back dash, poke, poke, back dash" it was quite rare to launch your opponent. As back dashing was op. So in tekken 8 they instead nerfed back dash and buffed side step to force you to be in the opponent face.
Ya'll always pick on Zafina and always putting her on the "trash" tier, yet when someone knows how to utilize her ya'll go ballistic. Shadow is a genius for winning using a character that is very hard to win with. Zafina is not as powerful on T8 as she used to on T7. Grow up and learn how to appreciate on how Shadow dominated using a character ya'll deemed as "trash"
its pure cheese 50/50 gameplay lol. "utilize" being a cringe player who picks a crab character thats glued to the floor the whole match... so much fun to watch, knee was playing so much better than shadow yet shadow had to do nothing but throw 50/50s to win

Knee obviously wasn't too good with the match up... 😅. He should have played more with Chanels Zafina because he let Shadow get away with a lot of moves that can be interrupted.

@@Acrophyllia no one playing her is relative. Knee trains with Chanel who plays Zafina and it is obviously in the way that he can comfortably punish and shut down some of her options. Knee choked in the final round and Shadow has unbelievable composure. I believe that was the main difference.
@@brentthompson1607 Comfortably? He whiffed his punish multiple times, way before the final round. It was Shadow who choked under the pressure and regained composure in my eyes.

Shadow isn't a show off guy but that consisted low 😢taunt would cost the game, bearing in mind you are playing knee, and you can tell that he realised it in the end, stand finish the game instead of taunting your adversary.

It would've been really interesting to see Knee face the Jon on the grand finals. He still need to shed more of that Tekken 7 in his blood, Tekken 8 rewards risk and more aggression, that final round he does nothing but block.
yeah that last round Knee got punished hard for trying to play tekken, poor guy he needs to push more buttons and take more risks if he wants to adapt to this game
