  • We are finally moving dirt for our pond build. This is just the beginning, more to come. Mini truck dumping load at 16:00 min mark. If you have a towable trencher/backhoe and want something easy to load and haul then I suggest looking for a "Mini Truck". They work perfect together.

    Yeah that lil trencher works pretty good! Mines been at work I guess I need to find a dumpy to go along with it instead of a wheelbarrow!

    I like dumpy it's the perfect companion for red I wouldn't mind having a dumpy for my Kell
    Glad you're better and back out digging.
    I noticed that the ground is very dry with you especially considering the springs. We have springs and everywhere is wet with us. Keep up good work

      I'm digging above the spring on this video. Next one will be digging on the low side of the spring and it's gonna be boggy. LOL

    I'll be getting one of these, but will be buying the one from NorthernTool. The Nortrac version gives you 6hp bigger engine and a 3.8gpm pumo versus 2.7 on th4 Harbor Freight midel. Get big upgrades for $200 more at current prices.

      Yep, when I bought mine it was a difference of 1,800.00 dollars between them now the prices are almost the same. Good luck and thanks for watching.

      That's the one I'm wanting too, for the same reasons. I'm in Oregon so have to add $500 for shipping...ouch. They're still backordered.

    Really enjoy your videos, Little Red (purchased) dumpy (saving for purchase). Have a real issue with my HF Trencher. It only worked 1 hour then hydraulic failure. HF sent replacement pump, which lasted 10 min. My case is being worked by HF, but wanted to know if you have had any issues? It just does not make much sense, no leaks, no obvious issues. so many projects on the list and yard work season has arrived in TN...

      Sorry to hear about the trouble. Wonder if a hose or maybe the filter is stopped up. I've never had any trouble with mine. Please keep me posted, Good luck and thanks for watching.

      Hi Rickey, no I've had no problems at all. Nothing has broken in the three years I've had it. I'm in the middle of this pond build and will be doing some hard, heavy digging in wet clay so we'll see what happens. Stay tuned.

    Will it move faster with a higher rpm ??

    • @DoubleMFarmHomestead
      @DoubleMFarmHomestead  3 года назад +1

      Yes, it will move faster. It's not as fast as a tractor mounted backhoe or a track hoe but it's a lot better than a shovel and much easier on my back. LOL Also a lot cheaper.
