also, natalie, another way to "budget" is to instead have a "spending cap". My spending cap is $1000, which means any day-to-day spending that I put on my credit card each month can't go over $1000, including gas, groceries, fun money, and restaurants. I found keeping track of small categories like "groceries" and "restaurants" and "parking" is too much work and it fluctuates too much from month to month, so I started doing it this way and its so much better for me.
I will say breaking it down into small categories like you do is better organized and better to help people confront overspending issues.

Girl you need classpass!!! A lot of studios use classpass so you can sign up for a variety of studios for cheaper and aren't tied to a studio. It's LIFE-CHANGING

I can’t even imagine having to pay to park nearly everywhere you go. I currently only pay for a semester parking pass to park at my university. My apartment has free parking and typically wherever I go around town also has free parking.
