So this is why she decided to leave the place where she used to live with Neuvillette and living in the small apartment huh? Some people of Fountanians are still doubting/grudging Furina for what happened with dissolving incidents, etc. My girl Furina deserved happiness too after her freedom :(
I’d bet and hope the following story quests about her clears the misunderstanding with the people, Neuvillette better do something about it given he’s one of the biggest part in the story and he now technically rules Fontaine, he knows the most about the events along with Traveller and considering he’s been with her for 500 years surely the whiplash of looking back at those years and her actions actually being her just doing what she can to keep up the work and save Fontaine would invoke empathy on him
I also doubt he’s fully capable of ruling if we consider the “understanding humans” aspect, Furina has the most experience about ruling and “humanity” between them so at most she can return as advisor so she’ll feel “needed” again by people, this is the only character closure I can see for her character because the current situation is too abrupt
(that’s if Hoyo’s weren’t so adamant on keeping the characters feel “pure” and “available” for self insert aspect)
I agree 👍 💯 Furina deserves to be happy more than anyone
@@f.b.lagent1113Haha. No.
Also she was Just Burned out from playing the Role of Archon for 500 years. She wanted a Break.
Nah- don't worry, I don't think it got that bad. She left the Palsis Memorina because that was a place for government officials, and she didn't want to have anything to do with the government anymore.
For a nation took pride in "justice" they sure don't hold back on how unfair they treat their savior. Hell, Heavenly Principles be damned, if letting Furina be happy is a sin, then I'm willing to become a sinner.
Be at ease. We still have very limited info about Celestia and the Heavenly Principles so its too early to judge them wether they are good or bad people.
Take in mind that people of Poisson actually lived a small scale catastrophe with actual casualties. The general opinion of Fontanians by the end of the act may be that the hydro archon saved them all, but for the people of Poisson that may have come too late for them. They had to watch their loved ones dissolve, or in an even worse case scenario, they lost sight of them, and once things got calm they struggled to find them, making you wonder if they got dissolved or not. Having no body to recover is also quite devastating for someone that may want to honor their deaths. The experience must have been horrifying.
Is it unfair considering what Furina went through? Perhaps, but they don't know that, and I can't really blame them for being a bit spiteful. If anything, a few disdainful glances is actually rather tamed.
Be grateful all Furina receives is a glare. Those people of Poisson would do even worse than that. The casualties there aren't just mere statistics for them. Justice demands distance from sentimentality and personal feelings. I don't think people who have lost their loved ones could easily do that.

You can only said that because you weren't on their shoes.
I like that Honkai Impact 3rd reference
the audacity of this people to be mad at her, while she has to understand their situation is frustrating, if she hasn't done what she did, they wouldn't even be there to be angry at her.
They don't fully understand what she did. In their eyes she simply lied to them for 500 years
If you were in their shoes and u lost loved one , u would understand their pov. Like word says "freedom has its price".
Tbh It's Neuvillette's job to clear up the misunderstandings but he isn't exactly an expert when it comes to human emotions
@goldenwolflord2734 He literally cannot. The whole point of Focalors plan was for it to remain a secret. If people find out she fooled the heveanly principles it could put Fontaine at risk
@@theatlantean8036 Idk if it matters now because technically no Fontainian should be alive at this point
All of their fates have changed. Also, the throne of the hydro archon has been destroyed. Even that didn't cause any response from the heavenly principles.
She didnot deserve this, she literaly saves these people
She needs headpats from Nahida
Yeah, as fellow chosen (acting) archon that suffered in the last 500 years. Kindred spirits
headpats from Traveler
ugh no traveler set her up in this situation.@@alexleemusic3217
Gotta admit. Furina's story is the only story that made me cry. Her situation is heart breaking than any sad stories in the game.
Between this and the bulk of Nahida's story both broke my heart.
THIS is why Furina's character arc is handled way better than Ei
That much is clear, but there's no need for comparisons.
Miles better than all archons so far, minus nahida. She still bit better than nahida, but not by large margin. Venti, zhongli, and Ei are pretty trash compared to nahida and furina tbh.
@@backpackpepelon3867 I thought Venti is good though. Zhongli is a tiny bit questionable. But we can all agree that Ei sucks 😆
@@Samuel_Loegan
in a way it feels Inazuma archon quest wasn't planned out thoroughly or perhaps it just they didn't know what to do with it
@@majin5961 I see. And I don't think you're wrong in saying that though. It's why I think Sumeru and Fontaine Archon quest is an improvement
She needs a hug 🥺. Someone so selfless as her deserves to be happy
Ahhh!!! If only the Fontainian people knew the truth 😢, they are blaming their savior, Furina is too brave for facing all this pain for the sake of people, she could have a human body but her will is of a truly God, it's not surprising that she gained the archon's respect. Please Hoyoverse, we need justice for her in the second legendary quest.
Focalors had no bad intentions but unfortunately in order to free the people from the " sin" of the previous Archon, he had to act in this way condemning, for the time being, his human half to a freedom with a guilt he does not deserve as Paimon rightly says: " don't be so hard on yourself, you were just doing your part" and indeed it is so but not everyone understands the act of enormous love that Focalors and Furina had to do: sacrificing some to defeat an even greater evil than the corrupt Primordial Sea. Celestia really pushes anyone to make choices that no one would want to make now I understand Khaenrhi'a's aversion to Celestia...I just hope that sooner or later the people will understand that Furina and Focalors had no other choice and this all started because of half of Egeria's fault. Anyone who gets close to the truth about Celestia is punished unjustly and those who do not participate have the same sort of punishment, as happened with Nahida.... Egeria had really come too close and her punishment was a mass genocide of her people with a prophecy is the only way to stop this was to " kill " the Archon by gaining power through the faith of the people to gain enough power to override Celestia's order and give back to the rightful owner the original power which erased this curse by judging Celestia the real culprit and the innocent people " forgiving" this sin
I kinda wonder how Celestia will react to there not being an archon in Fontaine anymore, surely they can't be happy with the power being given back to Neuvilette?
@@kitnal4143 as long as Neuvilette doesnt have intention to conquer seven nation and using forbidden power to use against the devine, Fontaine will be fine.
What Celestia despise is the use of forbidden knowledge and too advance technology (to the point it can be use as a weapon to wage a war in Teyvay)
He? Focalors and Furina are both women.
He?

I love how the calming music at the end was timed perfectly with her dialogue. It reached its end just as her dialogue reached hers.
I Still dont understand if nuevi can tell what really happend to us, why can he just share it to everyone what really happend, theres nothing wrong about it and all the misuderstanding can be clear and furina can be free without people hating her
Its not that
Because she effectively deceived them they were sure the hydro archon would save them worst comes to worst
Then it turns out the archon is a fake and they security was nothing but a false belief
In their perspective if they knew the hydro archon was a fake they would've been more on guard
Furina had the best intentions for doing what she did but unfortunately not everyone will take it well
He can't, if he do. The Heavenly principal will realise then Focalor and Furina Sacrifice will meaningless.
Literally part of Focalors' plans was to keep it as secret as possible, so the Heavenly Principles (which by this point is clear she is our final target in Genshin) wouldnt descend and let everything happen.
That is why even the Traveler wasnt able to know the truth before the final trial. Furina basically had her lips sealed by or agaisnt her will.
To reveal that, would likely awaken the Heavenly Principles.
For reference...this is the same being that essentially Nuked the world of Teyvat in order to end the reign of the dragons.
Then King Deshret, the strongest God of Sumeru, rose up to challenge him...only to be ended, and have his people end up dead, too.
Even Nahida threatened his awakening when negotiating with The Doctor.
That's just how powerful he is...even the gods fear him.
@@churchofthetea4273isn’t learning the truth of WHY she did the deception also part of compensation? we can only hope Neuvillette can clear things up later in the story, it’s all about transparency when the necessary lies were already done.
I hope Furina will have a happy life after all the things that happened.
Seems like she can be a director / actress if she gives herself a chance again.
Imagine her collab with Eula and Hu Tao to make a musical
pls not with hutao's rapping

...For some reason I am reminded about Ei here. It's the exact opposite, isn't it...?
yes actually whereas with ei, she did harm to her nation and ppl forgave her but with furina she did all she could do and her ppl never did
@@Powderdonutconsumerthat mirrors the trejectory of France and Japan. One becomes a republic, the other becomes constitutional monarcy. At least Furina is fareing better than her real life counterpart. 😂That one, Im confident about it.
@@林振华-t4vwell, not exactly considering "She" still died.
@@Powderdonutconsumery Simple. Power. Ei is still the Archon who has the power to Nuke while Furina is a Harmless Human.
That's why. Power is everything
@@silverhawkscape2677 This. Don't forget one or the auidoemc members' reaction in the opera house when Furina, a god surrendered, it's like they base their belief on her power and once they know she's powerless, the mob got emboldened
Poor girl had to live 500 as a normal human. She didn't even have a vision so she literally couldn't defend herself. :(
i hope the character arc isn't finished. Fontaine people still think Furina is a selfish fraud. Navia said in court that Furina is known for running away from her problems. And they know nothing that counters that known "fact".
But .. perhaps it's better for her not to be known as the hero she is, else she would have the same problem she had before .. the crowds expecting her to fulfil their expectations of a hero.
Navia if you dont forgive her I'm not pulling you
same
She does forgive her. In perhaps the best way possible
You can’t really fault them for feeling like that they all don’t know the real reason behind the theatrics that’s been going on. Not to mention they’re all still grieving for there lost that didn’t make it before the prophecy can be resolved.
If a ruler in your nation is very inactive at the midst of a catastrophe, do you really think it would be easy for the people to forgive and forget?
Also, in Navia's case, I genuinely think that she has already forgiven Furina, but couldn't forget the traumatic experience in the recent Archon Quest. Navia's only pointing out about something; that most people of Fontaine still can't forgive and forget Furina after being so inactive during the prophecy.
@@krungkronch1947she was never inactive
The archon quest had so many hravy moments. Mrlus and Silver's death right off the bat...just made me cry.
Dang bruh 😢
*FURINA NEEDS A HUG* 😭
The worst thing, we may found 'Furina was here' in her house.
So what happened to Furina could’ve likely happen to wanderer if Ei did not, well abandoned him. To be an entirely separate person forced to play someone else for what it seemed eternity .
Indeed. She realized he wouldn't be able to bear the responsibilities, because the task was demanding and lonely, so she chose to spare him from that suffering.
Фурина и Фокалорс буквально всех спасли своими действиями. Но в итоге одна умерла, а другая находится в состоянии депрессии.
О , я думал, я один русский здесь! Я полностью согласен с вашим мнением...
My account is ready to defeat all Fontainians should they ever transform back to Oceanids. Must protect... Furina..
Its just too painful... Everyone gain salvation but Focalor died and furina became a outcast... Even tho I Don't what to hate Fontainians.... I can't help but despise them....... If only we can take furina out of that shit hole and have her travels with us... That would wonderful
Well, to be specific just in poisson since it literally was ground zero, she's still somewhat revered if not respected in the city. Plus some people do know about what really happened as they were in the trial.
Yea, Furina was always and is still seen as more of a celebrity in Fontaine rather than an Archon.
Hey it's not so bad. If you play her quest you'll see that she is still pretty much loved in the city, despite them knowing she has no "god powers"
@@necasa4919 but look at how they humiliated her during the court trial... I just can fathom everyone on that damn court room especially Lyney
@@herrscherofascendance52 It's true the trial was a bit too harsh on her, but in the other's defense, they only wanted to get info out of her desperately, no one could have predicted it would turn out in a death sentence. Even Paimon says that things escalated out of hand way too quickly. But her legendary quest shows that even after the whole fiasco, Fontaine still respects her a lot, despite acknowledging she is not a "god" anymore. The people in Poisson are an exception though, because they actually had to live an event that took many lives and loved ones.
Why doesn't neuvilette tell everyone the contributions of furina , they ( navia and gang ) think they are the one who stopped the prophecy.
I think this is the parallel of what the greater lord did for the Sumeru.
She saved Sumeru by erasing her existence in the Irminsul that is why her people treats Nahida with such respect after the Archon quest since they only realize what the sages did to their Archon and not the Sacrifice of Greater Lord
Meanwhile Focalors let herself be executed to save the people of fontaine yet her people blames Furina because of what happened because they are still left in the dark.. only Neuvillette and the traveller knows what exactly happened. Looking forward to the 2nd story quest of Furina where she will finally be loved by her people again.
I would hope so ! I think though Genshin is in this odd spot where they have these really mature moments ruined by things like this quest. For example, Paimon's rudeness, the people not knowing just how much Furina suffered for the lives of everyone.
Just realized furina's eyes are swollen from crying and she kinda has the same eyes as childe and skirk; beautiful yet dull
She literally saved fontaine and her ppl are shitting on her lmao, poor girl thank god shes not real
I don't think that everyone knows just how much a role she had in saving the nation of Fontaine. A few casualties sure, but overall she did everything she could do and was told to do. I think the ball was dropped a little when it came to handling of this quest.
oh my furina you the deserve all the sweet treats, cakes and the good life for 500 years you suffered alone
I dont know if this sounds fitting for Furina's current state but....will she retrun to "archonhood"? I mean not fully... Maybe a "dont age" grant from Neuvillette... But with the powers she currently posses. Maybe she could be another "Zhongli" in this case but with more human actions plus her signature personality that was shown in the demo. I guess im just trying to cope that she basically aint an archon anymore... But i want her to atleast be able to bond with the other archons who actually praised and respected her after what she has gone through.
Ngl I want her to bond with the other archons too. I mean she may just be a mere human, created by the late Hydro Archon Focalors but her will is truly powerful, she sacrificed more than the majority of people are willing to give up, and all of that despite not even knowing what the plan is and whether or not it’s going to succeed. That takes an immense amount of willpower and selflessness. Even the other 4 Archons have been impressed by Furina. Also I want to see more bonding between Furina and Neuvilette. They seem to have a fondness and respect for each other that’s very rare.
But isn’t it the point is to release her from “godhood” position and to let her be human? What’s human about not ageing? I believe she has lived long enough and suffered enough.. (this is my opinion)
@@XPurpleMyth3 Well, I respect your opinion. Yeah, the trauma of living 500 years and acting as a god should be taken to account. But I just hope she gets something of a bonus later on be it a longer life or something that comforts her greatly. And I hope she meets the other Archons too. And maybe if she does age, we may get the Focalors tone of voice in the near future. Her voice was quite soothing....
@@derrickubay-ubay9503the “bonus” for her is being able to properly live like a human. Sure, it may not sound like much for us, but for Furina, it’s pretty much everything. Furina was doing all that to save fountaine, ans that succeeded. The purpose was fulfilled, so the extra is being able to properly live like a normal person
@@caramelcwossont Well, I guess your right... But I hope she has a longer lifespan than normal. But I also agree with her having her freedom and being able to live her life as a human.
Someone needs to edit loneby by Justin Bieber with her coz it's too accurate
tbf the people of fontain does not understand the suffering furina had to endure so that focalors plan can succeed and i believe they will never understand as in their hearts their archon let those people die
9:38 why is Paimon such a jerk lately?
This is actually one of the reasons I stopped playing. Like why even make Paimon be rude at times like this. It seems very out of place. I wish Genshin would take let their story be more mature.
It's the opposite with ei...
Ei has Actual Power and she effectively needed a "change of mind" from Inazumans that are from the main Islands.
She's still an Archon of Full Power.
Furina is just a Powerless Girl and Human. So Easy to Kidnap and Tie up and turn into your toy.

They should've had a confrontation with Navia coming in to defend Furina and explaining what actually happened during the disaster instead of just letting them fester in their anger, wouldn't dispel the resentment but at least it's a start
Does Navia know about Furina’s suffering?
I still don't understand why Neuvillette doesn't just tell people what actually happened.
If Neuvilette told the truth, then everything that focalors did for the people of fontaine will be for nothing. If the heavenly principles get a hold of what really happened then they might destroy fontaine and it's people.
That is why focalor decieved the heavenly principles to save the people of fontaine and return the hydro dragon authority to Neuvilette.

Pero como se vio aun ellos sabiendo lo que pasó no se atreven a descender sobre Fontaine probablemente porque no están en condiciones como se mencionó en la ultima misión de la 4.7
