Even after the Honkai series popularity. I think Genshin is still the most aesthetically pleasing game that Mihoyo have created with all of its grandeur, from graphics, gameplay, open world prowess, incorporating different cultures and ofcourse the music! 🎵

Genshin obviously has more openworld and battle features, Honkai 3rd Impact more brawl and beat em up style, and Honkai Star Rail obviously more RPG like turn based strategy.

So if you take this in consideration, then Genshin is really a separate concept than the Honkai series.
This game has become much more than a game. It's became a beacon of culture and arts, the true definition of what a masterpiece should be. Keep it up Hoyoverse!
It's a visual novel. So yeah. As a musician, the music is also one of the thinhs i love about the game..and no character has ever !ade !e cry hard than furina and nahida..
An an old player who has been playing since the launch, i see so many of these people just complaining about the game always , what they never see is the cultural impact and musical awareness genshin is making. They are making history right here. So much dedication and hardwork just goes into making that impact. This is handsdown the best project of genshin so far.
Praise and criticism are not mutually exclusive u know. Genshin, like many games, are hard carried by their passionate art and music department, while their soulless management are trying their best in squeezing every single penny out of their player base like a greedy pig, at the expense of the good will other departments have built for them; Both the former and the later must be recognized equally for the betterment of the game.

I remember hearing after the game's initial success, the management gave the devs 2 weeks break as reward. It's the players that are upset at not getting a lot of rewards from the game, but if you ask me, I'm sure the departments who use their passion are getting paid well and getting good benefits for their work. I'll be happy to pay if they can use their passion to continue to produce art and music like this and get paid well to do so. If anyone looked at the industry standard for HYV, their devs get paid some of the highest compared to other gaming companies within their bracket.

For me, the Fontaine arc is the most invested in arc right now because it has so many highlights engraved in our minds, especially the characters furina and focalors, the two of them are the main center of this arc, This song is one of countless examples of this
Mihoyo always seems to outdo themselves after each region's archon quest finale. Just as Fontaine's story outdid Sumeru's, I'm excited for how Natlan's story will outdo Fontaine's.
Especially the effort they made to make an unplayable outfit for Furina as Focalors rather than just copypasted pallette swap like Rukkha and electro seelie like Baal, those really dramatic flood cutscenes, and it also brought a handful of traveler's voiced dialogues.
Most invested arc but they only care to develop Neuvillette, and the most attention that the hydro archon got, was to kill her, and make Furina a complete clown that suffered and get tortured for 500 years acting for nothing but protect and save ungrateful people that treated her the worst way possible, and in the and the hydro archon dies and Furina loses any chance to become an archon merging with her again, and we literally lost the hydro archon, and never will get hee playable anymore Just to develop this dragon even more, pretty disappointed, seems that a misogynistic writed this story
Fontaine is truly an amazing region. Amazing singing, crazy good archon quest, crazy good story quests, beautifully written characters and it’s the first region I’ve never gotten bored of exploring

If this is what my welkin moon purchases are going towards, honestly I can't be that mad.. these videos and compositions are always absolute masterpieces year after year. (Spoilers) after playing the most recent archon quest and then watching this, the fact that there's all these parallels and nods to the story itself within this video just shows how much care there is for this franchise.
Yeah exactly I bought welkin a few days ago and I don't have a single bit of regret... If I can see the diversity of the culture from all around the world in this form...i can ask for no more.
Sumeru has Nilou representing the performing arts of the nation, mainly based on Persian dance, if i recall. Inazuma technically has Ayaka, since she did that beautiful Japanese dance with a fan (in wet socks). Mondstadt has Barbara, the Nun idol. So, we got it covered i think.
Frrr. Sumeru, Inazuma, and Mond is seriously needing one of these. Like Venti seriously needs a redo!! He sounded great in that Thousand Wind Wine song he did, especially considering that it was supposed to be a spoken poem and not a song (but Erika wanted to be a little goofy and sung it instead). The only thing that made it awkward was the background noise and the off tune of Venti’s lyre idle. Erika is skilled, even while impersonating Venti, in singing. Search up one of her Venti covers and you’ll see. Venti was seriously done dirty during that quest
What I feel most appreciated about their work is that they celebrate cultural diversity through the delivery of their job. The design of their visual arts, music and scripts is not just based off some casual understandings over different cultural circles, instead the level of enthusiasm and sincerity they put into the study of different histories and traditions across the world is just insane, not to mention that they can even manage to organize all those elements into some amazing stories that goes beyond cultural border like what we have in Fontaine. They are just so incredible, I won't feel regret for my pull for Furina lol, and I will keep looking forward to their next stage.

I come from a place in Canada where the french language is really important and protected. We are descendants of the french and doing our best to protect what we have left of the culture. I am not kidding when I say hearing my language in my favourite game in such a beautiful song brought tears to my eyes. But Yae is based on Japanese culture, and Japan basically sexualizes anything and everything. Completely on point there. Also, Yae isnt from Sumeru.

Seeing real life performances being shown just for Genshin alone is just fits amazingly, this lady has that talent!

An an old player who has been playing since the launch, i see so many of these people just complaining about the game always , what they never see is the cultural impact and musical awareness genshin is making. They are making history right here. So much dedication and hardwork just goes into making that impact. This is handsdown the best project of genshin so far.

Genshin, like many games, are hard carried by their passionate art and music department, while their soulless management are trying their best in squeezing every single penny out of their player base like a greedy pig, at the expense of the good will other departments have built for them; Both the former and the later must be recognized equally for the betterment of the game.

I remember hearing after the game's initial success, the management gave the devs 2 weeks break as reward. It's the players that are upset at not getting a lot of rewards from the game, but if you ask me, I'm sure the departments who use their passion are getting paid well and getting good benefits for their work. I'll be happy to pay if they can use their passion to continue to produce art and music like this and get paid well to do so. If anyone looked at the industry standard for HYV, their devs get paid some of the highest compared to other gaming companies within their bracket.

For me, the Fontaine arc is the most invested in arc right now because it has so many highlights engraved in our minds, especially the characters furina and focalors, the two of them are the main center of this arc, This song is one of countless examples of this
Mihoyo always seems to outdo themselves after each region's archon quest finale. Just as Fontaine's story outdid Sumeru's, I'm excited for how Natlan's story will outdo Fontaine's.

Like Venti seriously needs a redo!! He sounded great in that Thousand Wind Wine song he did, especially considering that it was supposed to be a spoken poem and not a song (but Erika wanted to be a little goofy and sung it instead). The only thing that made it awkward was the background noise and the off tune of Venti’s lyre idle. Erika is skilled, even while impersonating Venti, in singing. Search up one of her Venti covers and you’ll see. Venti was seriously done dirty during that quest

What I feel most appreciated about their work is that they celebrate cultural diversity through the delivery of their job. The design of their visual arts, music and scripts is not just based off some casual understandings over different cultural circles, instead the level of enthusiasm and sincerity they put into the study of different histories and traditions across the world
is just insane, not to mention that they can even manage to organize all those elements into some amazing stories that goes beyond cultural border like what we have in Fontaine.
They are just so incredible, I won't feel regret for my pull for Furina lol, and I will keep looking forward to their next stage.

I come from a place in Canada where the french language is really important and protected. We are descendants of the french and doing our best to protect what we have left of the culture. I am not kidding when I say hearing my language in my favourite game in such a beautiful song brought tears to my eyes. something that I gladly recognize about genshin is that allow us to experiment and appreciate different kind of art works and for me, at least, opera is the least I didn't know and I already discovering with such a pleasure !!
