I'm so mad this movie didn't make as much as it should've In theaters. The humor was actually funny. The action was actually entertaining. And the characters were actually characters, human and transformers. This was the first time I got a lil emotional over a transformer dying. Honestly I think that says a lot. I genuinely hope they continue the franchise and eventual crossover
It’s still getting a sequel it made well over $400 million dollars at the box office

@@VeTrey01because it is, ik that seems like a lot and it is but in business you want to make substantially more than what you spent on the movie as well as what was spent in marketing, so while it technically wasn't a failure domestically it definitely didnt turn a big profit
The key difference between this movie and the Bay movies(for the most part) is that the Transformers feel a lot more like proper characters and not just set pieces.
NTM the action is quite well choreographed and the human characters are worth getting invested in.
That is it! You nailed it...I was thinking after, why this didn't irk me half as much as the Bay movies and you got it!
Yeah it wasn't just wild pandemonium. You actually had reasons to root for the characters and be invested.
Jazz, Ironhide and Ratchet in 2007 "Transformers" are borderline the same character: a morally immature macho overdosed with testosterone - imagine their lines being said by one person, and it will hardly sound unnatural.
And most notably G1 designs
But they did you music from the Michael bay movie. During the scene where Optimus is saved you can hear arrival to earth playing
There's a theory that Megatron crashed on earth and was found by Cobra instead of Sector Seven, thus opening up the door to the green tank design.
This has the best blend of character work from bumblebee and spectacle of the bay films. Transformers is in a very good place right now and I’m all for it
nah not really, overhyped asf. I do miss the bay films, and I understand there are old heads who watch since childhood to match their cartoon but if we kept it that way we would get tired of having the same old designs in every movie rather than making it realistic and creative with unique effort and ideas into the movie. Pointless character plot, the feelings aren’t the same, I like the bay ones especially the first since it started transformer in movie industry with success, without a doubt this new cartoon kid friendly show is not the same to having a badass unique creative bay films. It like comparing comic Marvel to movie Marvel but honestly who the hell would like comic Marvel into the movie Marvel that is now.

For anyone who is still confused whether this movie is a prequel or reboot. The director Steven Caple Jr, have confirmed that it's a reboot. Travis Knight also confirmed that starting from Bumblebee, it is a complete reboot and Hasbro and Paramount are in board with it. The only one that has been inconsistent and possibly not onboard with the idea is producer Lorenzo, whose been the producer of every Bayformers movie and he has been stating that it's a prequel while also a reboot.
So if you ever want to guarantee that it's a reboot, listen to Travis Knight and Steven Caple; Lorenzo is just invalid as he is constantly inconsistent with his words and sometimes does not even make sense.
Optimus Primal in this movie was a amazing and made love the character even more

I absolutely loved this movie. Being a 90s kid seeing the Maximals on the big screen made my inner child so happy.
I also internally screamed YESSS when Primal yelled RHINOX, CHEETOR MAXIMISE
With the they’re flying now thing, I think its less he’s surprised that a bots flying, and more that a bot who isn’t a seeker is flying, because the seekers are the decepticon jets, and they all have the same build, which Nightbird doesn’t share
Dropkick and Shatter flew in Bumblebee and they weren't seekers. But I guess it was because they were triple changers.

It was 100% a rib to Rise of Skywalker
So many chills moments. Mirage transforming from reverse to forward on beat to the song gave me chills.
The mech suit that Mirage gave to Noah is actually from the original animated series in the 80s with the key difference being that Sam Witwicky received the armor first. This is the Saturday morning cartoon toy bash I've been waiting thirty years for and I couldn't be more excited for the future installments. Yo Joe, by the way!

Definitely one of my favourite Optimus lines to date.
The reason for them having earth animals as alt modes is likely that as time traveling explorers, they’ve been there before, which is why they chose to hide there

I loved this movie when I went to see it. I laughed at some parts, got emotional at others, I got a little bit annoyed at others, too. I wasn't expecting to love Mirage as much as I did, given who his voice actor was, but surprise surprise. The teamwork between the Autobots and the Maximals as they worked together to take down the Terrorcons and Unicron was amazing. I felt my jaw drop when I saw Scourge kill Bumblebee, but I was ecstatic when he made his epic entrance into the fight after being re-energized by all the Energon deposits.
Honestly, hearing the voices of Peter Cullen and Ron Perlman in the same movie is way too cool to not love. I gave this movie a solid 9/10.
this was sort of my take too. I was hesitant with Pete Davidson being the voice of Mirage..but he proved to be damn good at the role and now...I dont want anyone else voicing Mirage!

Loved your reaction to the movie! I went and saw it with one of my besties during opening weekend, and we both had a BLAST! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and hearing Peter Cullen as Optimus again brought a smile to my face. Also, the rest of the cast - for both the humans and the Transformers - was awesome! Man, I really need to see this movie again....
I agree that Rhinox got sidelined hard but he did transform and was smashing things with a giant hammer lol. The director in an interview did say he wanted to have Rattrap in this movie so much but there were already too many Characters at the time so we're probably gonna get him in the sequel
I guess I got him lost in the mix and confused him for Optimus I few times! haha

3:39 There's a bit of time-travel shenanigans involved with the Maximals. They're the descendants of Autobots, so for them, the Cybertronian and Earth war is a thing of ancient history for them. They know quite a bit about Earth and its animals already. So them taking the transwarp key is them going back in time.

Because skurge aligned himself with Unicorn, he is powered by Dark Energon. That why he's so strong
Kinda cool how they made Noah kind of a minicon at the end when he got that suit that looked like the Accelerator suite from G.I Joe
Scourge is a *BEAST* Villain.
The Terrorcon is the *BEAST* faction too.
The Predacons are the evil Beast faction who fought the Maximals in the Beast Wars cartoon.

In the past, the main franchises Hasbro had hoped to establish in a cinematic universe were Transformers, GIJoe, M.A.S.K., Rom the Space Knight, Centurions, Visionaries, and Micronauts. Don’t know if that’s still the goal.
Airazor died scene make me cry so much, I love Bumblebee but Airazor got to me more.😭❤️🦅
They made the humans likeable in this, I actually cared for them, which I haven’t been able to say in most of them. It’s the first film I have really enjoyed from this franchise. I loved your cat coming for a love in the middle, adorable fluffy tail……..
I think cheetor staff is the tail just stiff lol. Also when Optimus says “I’ll show you the real power of a prime” gives me chills every time so badass Peter Cullen
Jesús... Scourge is waaaaay much menacing and badass that ive expected him to be in this movie. Seems like Lockdown finally got some competition. Just for him alone, i give this movie an great 9.9/10
God I actually really liked these last two more than the bayverse movies entirely. I like the new direction. The human characters were so much more well done in this. I love the connection of noah and optimus and how they are similar.

They used him as a foot solder in this. He’s his own deception character. He was in the 07 movie in a similar but not exact design.
There are two different backgrounds for Scorponok. In G1, he is the leader of the headmasters where in robot mode, his head is actually a humanoid alien named Zarak. He has three modes - a giant scorpion, and by giant i mean could pick up Prime with his claw; a battle platform, almost a city-sized; and robot. In Beast Wars he his second in command to Megatron and has missile launchers in his claws.
The battle suit on Noah being made from Mirage is similar to how the original comic and cartoon made the headmasters. The Autobots and Decepticons removed their heads and had them built into transforming battle suits for the human partners.

My family was surprised that PETER DINKLAGE voiced the leader of the Terrorcons: Scourge
You know for Noah holding Optimus, it isn’t the craziest thing to happen in a movie. If Iron Man’s suit can give him super strength why not this suit 😂

I never get sick of listening to the musical score man. Not only is it very bombastic, upbeat, catchy and heroically triumphant, I also really dig those insane electronics.
They sound so pissed off and animal-like. It kind of reminded me of Terminator: Dark Fate at times.
The best tbh is Unicron/Scourge theme at the beginning. It's sounds so good, like something really scary/terrifying is coming after you. And of course, On my soul is just a piece of music, so good and so cool

I think its obvious that whether Bumblebee is connected to the Michael Bay Transformers, this one is no way connected to them so its obvious we are dealing with a reboot Transformers
Loved this film sooooo good at first i thought the guy who was interviewing noah was S-7 guy i was so shocked when i saw gi joe, plus cried when bumblebee died as he's one of my faves
Never seen the channel, got to say this is the BEST reaction of this film. Even better than Reel Rejects and they’re the GOATS. You had the same level of excitement and emotional nostalgia that I did. Definitely earned a sub from me.

I’m gonna guess that there’s something drawing the keys to one another, so where the Autobots followed Elena’s knowledge, the terrorcons probably followed whatever connection their piece of the key had with the other

Straight up, this movie in the theater was the first time in so many years where I ended up leaning forward in the seat, fucking OPEN-MOUTH SMILING around the time of the final battle. It was that damn great of a movie

@andrewreynolds912 Tbh, it didn't bother me. Not exactly the crossover I would think of, but it's Hasbro's two flagship franchises that I can think of.
I honestly expected GI Joe to be Sector 7 or something. But GI Joe works fine

40:30 Scorpinok was in the Beast Wars show as his own character and was only used as a foot soulder in the Netflix Kingdom show. Comics he's his own character.
Best transformers movie so glad the franchise is in good hands after bay ruined it ashame that so many people aren’t even giving these movies a chance anymore
damn y’all hella disrespect and unappreciated the amount of unique ideas and effort of bay films that made transformers a successful movie. You literally spit nothing but bs opinions and some facts to consider is that I understand old heads would like to see cartoon version to match their childhood but if we keep doing this for other movies we would get tired of seeing it rather having new realistic badass unique designs that actually have quality cgi and voiceover. And it just doesn’t make since, it looks hella corny and weird to fit in the perfect frame of transformers bay films, idc about the originality from 80s, the bay film put levels… it like comparing comic marvel to movie marvel but as soon as we keep putting comic marvel themes into the movie marvel, that sht keeps getting worse since the peak of movie marvels endgame.
the new movie is wasted money and time, bad cgi and voice overs, overdramatic interactions that are hella corny to make this movie serious, poor characters from humans that are pointless, but the action not bad.
I’m doing my part to clear the name of it and even some that were done and totally have zero interest said this was the best one

Fun fact: there's a video of an leaked ending scene where prime was floating in space and meet Unicron eye to eye. This means that Unicron has made scourge dozens of times by using other optimus (btw the last one is a theory of mine)

I don’t mind a Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover to be 3hrs long. Like a 3hrs run-time. Totally worth it. Hope Anthony Ramos, Doninique Fishback, Hailee Steinfield, and John Cena comes back
This Movie and the Bumblebee Movie are in a completely new universe, they do not play in the same timeline as the bayfilms.

Scorge's little hunting robots are very similar to what turned into a radio in Bay's transforms one. that must be what you were remembering
He Talking About Nightbird The First Land Vehicle Type Terrorcon That Can Fly in The Sky Not Seekers and Also The Two Terrorcons That With Scourge in Rest Scene Their Name is Battletrap (The Orange Tow Truck and Muscle Type Terrorcon) and Nightbird (She is a Female Terrorcon Ninja and She is The Only Terrorcon Member That Can Fly).
i would bet that at one point the card at the end said "SECTOR 7" as a throwback to the first Bay film.
It’s GI Joe
The actor who voiced Unicron is Colman Domingo. You may know him as the character Victor Strand in Fear the Walking Dead. He's also been in the last Candyman film, and in December he'll be seen in The Colour Purple remake.

True fact, fans theorised before the film came out that Scourge was a dark corrupted bayverse (bayverse means the micheal bay universe) Optimus which obviously has been proven not true. Even still, before the movie came out, Unicrons character bio on a marketing post mentioned he has power across the "multiverse" so technically the transformers could have a multiverse so i would love to see the bayverse crossover with this new universe so bayverse prime could have a final and hopefully peaceful conclusion to his story because much as the bay films weren't great, you start to realise like andrew garfields spiderman in nwh, Bayverse prime went through ALOT of pain. He saved the world 3 times, had his own teacher (sentinel prime from the 3rd micheal bay film) betray him. He's been killed and revived. And after all that, in the 4th film he had the humans turn against him and kill off almost half of his autobots. He went through alot of tragedy and to see him finally have a conclusion would be great.
if the final battle had more colors, it would’ve been perfect in my opinion. they’ll probably fix that in the sequel

The Scorponok in the original show was Megatron's biggest sim- i mean most loyal soldier. One of the few predacons that didn't try to backstab Megs not even once.

The tunnels in the bridge were likely make for easier traversal for human sized aliens the maximals interacted with, or just smaller maximals such as rattrap
I didn't realize the movie made me tearie eyed until the end when I first watched it. The 2nd time (with my parents) noticed it during the final battle. 3rd time (with my sister and her family) I noticed it during the scene were they save Prime
I Saw It The Second Time, It Was a Good and Amazing Transformers Movie Just Like Transformers (2007), Transformers Dark Of The Moon, and The Bumblebee Movie, and Now Rise Of The Beasts is My Favorites Transformers Movies.
And Soon Gonna Be The Third Time To Transformers Rise Of The Beasts But With My Brother in Law.
I think air razor was alone bc they said the maximals split into two groups. One was Primal, Cheetor, and Rhinox. The other was, probably, Air Razor, Rat Trap, and Tigatron. So....perhaps Rat Trap and Tigatron didn't make it

@@Omn1MediaDecepticons, maybe? An Optimus v Decepticon fight was cut, so maybe Rattrap and Tigatron got taken out by some decepticon who ended up there
That's what I was thinking because Primal did ask her about "the others" when they finally meet. I know the director was asked about Rattrap and he said he really wants to bring him to the big screen so I feel like he will appear in a sequel. They could be in some sort of hibernation or could have been revived like Bumblebee was with the Energon surge
The foot soldiers reminded me of bionicles. But scorponok was an extremely powerful triple changer in lore not a random foot soldier. He’d also be bigger than those things if they lined up the sizes . I think they just needed a cool looking not quite a mob baddie to throw in.
Skorponok was Megatron's second in command for the first season of Beast Wars, so it's a shame he got demoted to generic foot soldier
(Bumble doesn’t count because it’s just about him) This is the first movie to balance out all the Auto bots well since the first movie
Regarding "they should have decked them out sooner" with the gear that they put Ramos in at the end. He was literally wearing Mirage's remains. It makes sense why they couldn't do that earlier.
I mean, he's a little guy, they could all have spared him some parts haha but I see what you mean!
While it is not confirmed in the film, I believe that Mriage in this movie is a special type of Transformer known as a Shifter, capable of performing numerous transformation abilities that other Transformers cannot, such as Mirage being able to completely switch vehicle forms on the fly in that one scene, including apparently into a completely differentlyy sized vehicle, and reconfigure himself to reverse the direction of his alternate mode, which we haven't seen in any other film, or even from the others in this film, so no one else could become a exo-suit since that is implied to be another extension of these abilities.

The voice actor who voices Unicron is Strands actor from fear The Walking Dead.
Fun fact the plane you see his name is stratosphere the same robot you see in revenge of the fallen where Optimus prime jumped off the plane.
So, pulling the Unicron in the trailer was worrying. I'm so glad they've effectively made him the Thanos, the endgame villain for this series.
Unicorn would be more like the Galactus for transformers than Thanos.

I kind of liked the characterization of Optimus in this film.
Imagine seeing the autobots charging into battle with the G.I JOE
34:36 well, they also have the little dudes who scourge uses. who are small enough for the tunnels. still, it is just a reason for the humans to be there. but at least they establish that there are smaller bots who can go where larger bots can't
I thought more like "ok Rick,time for a purge." when I saw Mirage turn into a mech suit
It's fair to say this is the best Transformer movie since the first, maybe even better.

it sucks Rhinox didn't get much screen time, but at least we got to see him transformer unlike AirRazor which was cool. but he had the least amount of screen time/lines out of the Maximals :/

This was a well blended movie between Bumblebee and the Michael Bay movies without going overboard and I hope we get to see the GI-joe crossover but man this hit me in the feels with all the 90's references from the Power Rangers t-shirt to the Beast Wars Cartoon show. I wish Dinobot was in this but all in all a very enjoyable movie. Awesome reaction bro

Fun fact, if you’ve ever seen the 1986 transformer movie, with hot rod, Maroge could have transcended into Rodimus Prime. because only a Prime could take on scourge the way Maroge did
