- How to fly an ILS Approach in an Airbus A320
Today we are back in the A320 full flight simulator and I'm going to show you how to fly an ILS Approach in San Francisco KSFO.
I'll show you how to read the approach chart, how to program the FMS/FMC, how to fly the aircraft onto the glide with the autopilot and land the plane safely on the runway with the ILS.
The instument landing system is used on nearly every approach and is not to hard to use.

What is the function of turning on both autopilots? Is there some kind of difference in how it flies or is it for redundancy?
Hi, can you ever explain the whole pack system and how the packs work on the Airbus A320? I read about it in FCOM, but I didn't quite understand how it works, so I made a video about how.

Love the videos, guy. motivating me to go after a career as a commercial pilot. The other day, as I was flying in a VATSIM, I was having trouble with my ILS capturing. There was a significant weather with low-altitude colombus clouds, but I was unable to capture the ILS. Do you know the error I made? When I arrived at the ILS FIX, it had already captured the ILS, but all of a sudden, it turned to the left without completing the approach? No concerns if you weren't able to comprehend the circumstance, I love your vids 👍😍

Since I have a lot of videos from my Boeing flying days I thought about posting them as shorts everyday. Better then deleting them.
But I'm currently flying the airbus A330. J

the funny thing is that I got used to flying RNAV approaches more than the ILS approaches because I read lots of RNAV STARs 😭

Is it worth becoming a pilot? Because I think in the next two to three decades automation will completely take over. I love planes and wanted to become a pilot but now I am thinking of pursuing a career in healthcare due to fast automation in aviation.
Im ur position too. I can only see myself as a pilot but my parents are worried ai will take over which in my opinion will never happen while we are alive. Its too risky and needs to be extremely developed to be put into place
