I recently switched to using a dedicated screen controller (Air 3s - RC2) for the first time ever. I don't think I'm ever going back. lol It's shortened my launch time a bit, and helps me out quite a bit on sunny days.
@@reallyjordanhorn it has beena game changer for me. I've been running Air 2s for about 5 years, or whenever it was released. Portability was my main reason for switching to it from the P4P. It worked great, although it really struggled in twilight and other low light scenarios. The Air 3s does a much better job and delivers a higher image quality (although I will add, I never had an agent complain about the 2s quality).
Very cool stuff. Two questions, you didn't wait until you had more satellites available before flying? I always wait until they're in the green. Second is not a question, but, shutter speed should *decrease* when you're trying to brighten up the scene. You can also do that via raising the ISO a tad.
Haha yes, I know I should have said decrease. Sometimes when talking I say the wrong things. “Decrease the exposure, by increasing the shutter speed” yes yes. And as far as the satellites, nah, I don’t really pay attention to it. I’ll take off without GPS, I’ve been doing this a long time lol
Both! I’ll merge em, but not edit at all, just helps shadows a bit. Then I’ll provide a separate folder with all the raw images. Important for these types of things

Nice! How do you like the Air3s?
As for the controller, I really don’t think it’s for me haha. Glad you like it though!

@@reallyjordanhorn before I was on DJI I put a drone into a building wall, lol, so that's why I always make sure the GPS is good and plenty lol.
Did you merge the photos before giving them to the client, or are you providing bracketed raw photos?

I’m just curious how you find clients like this? Cold calls? Emails? DM’s on socials?
They reach out to me! The power of good SEO and a solid website presence. That’s what I did before REP, marketing and web design. Very useful skill.
