3D Printed Servo Driven Automata

An automata controlled by a Picaxe microcontroller driving a servo. Sound effects are done with a DFplayer. It's still a work in progress,

Yes, you got carried away and that's one of the best parts. Maybe use a colored LED in the light bulb so there is a color change from the white bulb to whatever color LED is used when it Lites up.

When I first saw it, I thought the swatter was just fixed to the end of the servo. I think the way you have used the spring is brilliant.

I thought about building it without the spring but I didn't think it would look right.
