The funny thing is that 99% of the people making fun of these guys havent even been on a stage before. Every band needs to start somewhere. I bet this was a great night for them. I bet they where proud of the performance. I know i was at my first gig. Its not about being the best guitarist or drummer. Its about playing with your best friends. Nothing beats this time of your life.

As a guitarist myself. the lead was absolutely terrible he missed last note in each bar and tried to cover it up by making what's meant to be the second last note longer, the bassist played correctly but his bass had its volume set FAR to high. the drummer carried the whole band. But the performance was still terrible. The age doesn’t matter, if it’s the experience that matters. And kids learn faster than adults do, so a kid who’s been playing for 2 years would arguably be better than an adult who’s been playing for the same amount of time. So there really isn’t any excuse, and being a kid isn’t an excuse either.
They are just kids but you can tell they are cocky and don’t practice the only one who did was the drummer

I think they all said “ok we’re gonna practice on our own” and then the guitarist practiced the opening and then skimmed the chords, the bassist probably didn’t do anything let’s be honest, the drummer definitely practiced, and the singer skimmed through the lyrics maybe 2 times and left it at that
