இப்ப அனுபவிக்கிறேன்ங்க ..வெறும் கீழே சறுக்கி கீழ் இடுப்பு சுளுக்கியது. முன்னெல்லாம் உறுவி விடுவார்கள் , சரியாகும். இப்போது, பாரதிராஜா, காவேரி என ஆஸ்பத்திரி களில் 50 நாளாக Scan கள், X-Ray க்கள் என( எடுத்ததையே எடுத்து) அலையவைத்து, சுளுக்கை அதிகமாக்கி வலி தீராமல் லட்சக் கணக்கில் செலவு வைத்து வேடிக்கை பார்க்கிறார்கள். இதில் வேடிக்கை ,எந்த மெயின் டாக்டரும் நேரடியாக எனக்கு பார்த்து வைத்தியம் பார்க்கவில்லை.அரை ,குறை அறிவு நர்ஸ் (!) களும் உதவியாளர்களும்தான். ஷிஃப்ட் மாறுபவர்கள் சொல்வதிலும் Co-ordination இல்லை.Dr.சொல்வதும் இவர்கள் செய்வதும் சம்பந்தமேயில்லை. ஒரு தெருவில் அதமபட்சம் 10 பேஷண்ட் உள்ளனர்.
கடவுள் பக்தியோடு, சமூக சேவை, விடாமல்இத்தனை வருஷமாக செய்து வந்த எனக்கு கடவுள் நம்பிக்கையே போய்விட்டது .

Same way I consulted a doctor for simple fever in the evenings and he forced me to get admitted for observation. He started anti malarial treatment even before doing blood test. After two days, blood test negative for malaria. Doctor retained me for 3 more days in hospital and I compelled him for discharging me. Report sheet said admitted for fever 100.4. I couldn't get medical reimbursement from insurance. company. I spent about Rs. 25000 and this happened about 20 years ago. No one was with me. I stayed alone in hospital taking their food. I took the help of a friend for getting discharged from hospital.

When I was very young, I was taken to a hospital for stomach pain. That doctor (now no more) admitted me in his hospital as an inpatient for one month and he changed so many medicines which he tested on me. Good thing that time,medical machines were not there to experiment on me. Now thinking back, I can see what a waste of money and time it was. The doctor would have paid a nurse s salary with that expense. I was not that invalid and as a young person moving here and there. Only there was food restrictions not to eat kaaram Or pulippu. Now if the doctor had been alive he would have experimented all sorts of machines on me to mint money.

Did your father had local (USA) medical insurance- coz, doctors in USA cannot easily have patient to undergo random tests (insurance will question them & most requires pre-approvals which requires doc reasoning on the need of tests etc)
@@JollyMan69 yes true! I've been part of US healthcare. Developed softwares for Doctor's Practices & HMOs. The Problem is, modern medicine is based on germ theory. When it's theory, nothing is absolute. Treatments are done on trial and error basis. Differential diagnosis! When you recover, it's your body (specially your liver) that has saved you inspite of meds.. In rare cases, the trail and error may work if found at the initial attempts else it leads to complications and loss of life. Some Emergencies like heart attack, accidents etc, hospitals do help.

Bombay Ghnanam is absolutely correct. The same type of incidents happened to our family also to our Mother. I appreciate her braveness. I too written a letter to the hospital HO which is in Foreign country. (Now They Changed The Name). We lost our mother due to negligence and irresponsible. Higher authority of the hospital also visited my mother. Infact the whatever happended to Bomby Ghanam case the samething happend to us also. Her case his husband was 120 days. Our mother case was 8 to 10 days. 90% Hospitals are looting the public money. Nice to hear her Pure Brahmin Bazha. God Bless her.

Bitter Truth of medical industry
My younger sister 36 years old was admitted in a, famous landmark hospital in Mugalivakkam 7 years back for stomach pain. She was in ICU liquid diet for 15 days. None of them could diagonise her disease. She was discharged n taking medcines at home n continued with same pain. We again went to the same hospital. He asked us to consult in a different hospital. We took her to M***m Hospital near Valluvar Kottam. Same story. All tests. No diagnosis. Finally a date was given for her stomach operation. On the day before her operation she passed away. She was on IV fluids for 5 days. But my mil 74 years old had brain stroke. Thru reference we took her to K***"y Hospital. She was treated for heart vegetation n she is alive now. Though she has side effects of the medicine, she is living now. So it is sheer luck to get to a hospital

I too lost my loving husband because of medical negligence. He was affected with hepatitis B and later C when he was doing dialysis that finally took away his life. When he went for a medical check up much earlier before his kidney failure there were symptoms which they never disclosed. Gradually his kidneys failed and attenders carelessness in handling patients equipment lead to Hepatitis. All his organs failed and he died in my arms.
Stay strong sister. Let those culprits, criminals face their karma.

But Govt is silent and not taking any serious steps to arrest such malpractice - be it Congress or Janata or BJP because though leaders have crores stacked, they are paid by the Govt for treatments.
Madam I lost my sister three days back in the same way. She had herself hospitalized in a popular hospital as she felt difficult to walk. All tests were normal. Only sugar test showed 257 she was suggested insulin. God only knows first day injection was successful. Next day morning injection she became chill. She was talking till her injection was given. Cardiac tests showed heart working nicely. How she became chill and declared dead is still question?? Waiting for postmortem result.

Actually doctors are considered to be God as they save the life. But most of them are money minded and try to extract maximum from the patients. They have a kind of understanding. Most of the doctors visit the patient whether it is necessary or not and visiting fee per visit will be charged.
