Sure thing - yeah, I think the real next level is 1000w - but I'm still pretty pleased with this. But, I would have loved a power washer - I guess we will have to continue to wait
all in on the inverter, love using the old one. the new one is a sweet upgrade. PRESSURE WASHER EGO!!!!! Ugh maybe late year surprise addition. Nice new products though. i wish i had a yard for that zero turn, it's super sexy!!
A leaf mulcher would be much appreciated right now. Pressure washer? Portable battery banks of different size variations would be nice to see. An updated backpack leaf blower with new features. Other portable items such as lanterns, flashlights, headlamps, work lights that are magnetic & can get into tight places, heaters, electric tire pump for vehicles. Or even indoor heating & cooling systems that could be installed in individual rooms. @EGO could even break into appliances & allow the appliance to use the EGO battery as a backup for when the power goes out. Why not EGO fixed solar panels & EGO foldable solar panels? I would be stoked if they released a similar item to what ECO-FLOW has done, since they have come out with an autonomous solar tracker. It tracks the sun autonomously with a solar panel mounted which then continuously gives you the best angle for the most wattage. Very cool. Would love to see em.
You apparently don't know that Cub Cadet makes some steering wheel ZTRs. I have one (54SX) and it is awesome on hills, as it laughs at my fairly steep hill that's also about 160 feet wide and has zero issues going up, down or turning on the slope, with perfect steering precision/control. It's nice to see that there is seemingly going to be an electric guy that works the same way. Hope they come out with a wider deck model later on as 42" is too small for what I need.
Hey Rob, congrats on 54SX. The synchro steer is a very cool advancement indeed for zero turn slope performance. Ego has the potential to one-up Cub Cadet by offering this "4 wheel steering" technology on their lap bar models. The steering wheel version Andrew is showing here is hopefully mostly a UK play - they like steering wheels vs lap bars. US based consumers will certainly favor the tried and true intuitive and responsive lap bar steering on ZTS machines. If Cub Cadet offered the 54SX with a lap bar control vs the steering wheel it would be a much more appealing and popular choice for the industry. They really can't though, but EGO can because everything is fly by wire.
@@Kitearmy yes they did, i go to Lowe’s and see that there is a whole isle of ego there are some of the other products you review but really the isle is just ego; has anyone else seen this or is it just me
New challenge, Ego: Power head trimmer with PowerLoad AND Line IQ! I believe in you! Bonus points if you add two dials, one to tailor the low end speed (to make it go suuuuper slow), and one to tailor the high end speed. I think this might just be the best trimmer ever!!!
We are living through some amazing times! You should have had Count von Count sitting next to you to keep up with counting all the new products. (I lost count.) What do we want EGO to release next? A Go-Kart, to drive on all the freshly mowed turf!
@@Kitearmy Hey Andrew, according to the press release and what other channels are reporting, the caster wheels on "e-Steer" will be turned in sync with the position of the steering wheel. They say it is "4 wheel steering" and tout that it can handle sloped terrain "up to 20 degrees" and mow in a straight line due to the "4 wheel steering" technology. Cub cadet has something very similar to this but they are using mechanical linkages to connect the front casters to the steering. Ego will probably be using DC motors on the front caster forks to turn them left and right.
Zero turn and the power head and power adapter looks good. I love technology so any new tools are just exciting. They need a shop vac and pressure washer tho! There's so much untapped power in those batteries.
Ego Speed IQ is coming after Toro personal pace. That’s the only thing that was keeping me with my Timemaster but now I might have to get that new Ego mower!
I would like for ego to make a pressure washer for when I don't want to get out my bigger pressure washer. I have a little Worx pressure washer I use a lot to spray off the truck.
EGO needs a Stand-On mower. It's the next logical step in their lawn care line. Professional landscapers in my state, including my lawn service, have overwhelmingly transitioned to gas Stand-On's away from ZTR's. They will be lighter and more maneuverable than Ego's ZTR's but they won't come cheap. EGO will have to make it attractive for the homeowner but it will sell well if priced right. Two/three 12v batteries with a minimum of two/three acre run times and EGO will have a line to them, me included.
I purchased a Mantis battery operated tiller over two years ago. Love the tiller and it does more work than I ever imagined it would. About a month after got it the switch on the handle broke, Mantes didn’t have a simple replacement part so they said they would replace the whole tiller. I guess because of COVID and supply chain issues I still have not received my new tiller. It would be great if EGO could design a stand alone tiller. If you have any clout with EGO maybe you could suggest this? Just to be fair they did replace my tiller about a year later but sent me a corded electric instead which is still in the box awaiting for Mantis to send the right tiller. And I was able to install a simple toggle switch and I got my tiller going.
Great video, thanks for sharing. I am looking forward to next year. One thing I really want is Line IQ for the multi-head string trimmer, I actually returned the 16" b/c like a dummy I thought it did multi-head too. 😥🐼
So here's my happiest comment on one product. The new nexus. The older one of 150watts could not run my Traeger BBQ, And the nexus 2000 was so big to take along. Is ego bringing the commercial bike handle trimmer to the us market? Ego has gr8 products but still lags behind other brands in some aspects such as a cutting swath of 18 inches
Yes all well and good, we have an Ego strimmer but here in Britain we can't get a grease tube to grease the head. ( Screw in the tube ) Any other brand no problem. Phoned Ego UK they didn't seem to care.
I would like better Customer Service. I had my lawn mower battery fail well within the warranty time period. I called in the middle of May and they agreed my battery was bad and would send me a new one. I called in early June and they cited “supply chain issues” as to why I hadn’t received it yet. I called the last week of August and I was shuttled to a voice mail box. I still have not received my battery or a return phone call. Just imagine what my lawn would look like if I didn’t have other EGO products to rob the batteries from to cut my lawn. If they don’t have enough batteries to meet their warranty obligations maybe they should shut the factory down for a few weeks and get caught up on their warranty claims. Better customer service is the item I would like to see on this list of new things.
@@Kitearmy Because of the low center of gravity of the Z6, its virtually impossible to flip even on 20+ degree slopes. 4 wheel steering will increase traction dramatically because the front casters can no longer freely rotate down towards the bottom of the hill when driving/mowing across slopes. BUT, they need to one up Cub Cadet and offer this tech on their LAP BAR z6 models. I don't want a steering wheel on my zero turn. Defeats the whole appeal of a ZTS. Cub Cadet had no choice but to ditch the lap bars in favor of a steering wheel because they have mechanical linkages. BUT, Ego has all electronic control, even the existing lap bars are only connected to the drive motors by wires, not linkages. They can do the same for the front caster wheels. Add a small DC motor to each caster fork assembly to turn the casters in sync with the lap bars.
I keep waiting for a ego mower to rival the Toro Timemaster. I have several ego tools and I want to jump into a mower but I really need something with a 30-32” cutting width. Do you think that type of thing is possible in an electric?
Was disappointed that EGO didn't come out with a 30" or 32" push or Stand-on mower either residential or commercial. I don't understand why they came out with more mowers that compete with their existing ones??? I really like the EGO products. Can I assume that the new mowers have even better battery power management capabilities?
Ego needs to do a commercial grade push mower with a highrise non-stick coating deck that mulches better. Also needs to add weight in the front or go with a steel deck to get consistent height cuts.
😁 No new Snow blower? I've been waiting 2 years to buy the big boy that's always out of stock and was hoping to get something new since I've been waiting for a couple seasons now... Thanks for the update though! 👍🏾
@@Kitearmy Is that a new multi head? It looks as if it is. From their site: "The Power Head is compatible with the full range of EGO POWER+ Multi-Head attachments to cut, trim, clear, and more. It features a quick-release adjustable handle for ultimate control and a durable carbon fiber shaft that has a lifetime warranty." Those last two are really interesting -- I just bought the multi tool this week with hedge trimmer (haven't gotten to use it yet), but thinking about returning it now with these two changes.
The MST1603 Multi Head with the ST1600 ("3" is the 4.0Ah battery size number designation) 16" PowerLoad String Trimmer comes with a new Multi Head that has the digital two power level adjustment and the new trigger (thank goodness!) which are the same features on the new 16" Line IQ trimmer. My guess would be that there will be a new power connection port on the Multi Head shaft to connect to the new attachments that would require the additional electronic power to drive the motor to make it work. For me, the trigger along would be worth for me to upgrade the Multi Head unit as the current one is awkward, uncomfortable and cause unnecessary muscle strain to my hand. The new PowerLoad trimmer head? Not necessary for me as I got the Line IQ already even if they added the Line IQ feature it will still not be able to telescope the shaft and still be heavier than the stand along unit to carry around. It will be really cool if the extra electronic power delivery would be able to more useful for future products like the snow shovel with electronic motor that can control the chute direction from the handle or LED light on the shaft to trim when it's dark or waterproof USB-C port to run/charge smartphones/POV camera/ small clip on USB fan during hot days... (should I patten it right now so EGO have to pay to have it or are you going to hurry up and put them in for me EGO??). 😉
LM2167SP does not appear to have any external wiring cable at all! Nice and clean and MAYBE will no longer have cable kink issue?! I hop it will allow mulching without the need of extending the handle with the new single handle release clip in the middle of the handle frame. Hopefully, the issue of the self propelled motor will no longer rising the cut high on this new model. I still wish EGO would release a new Peak Power dual battery lawnmower with two 12Ah batteries and dual blade (extra wide High Lift blade set 😉) for people who just need to mow larger area or the ability to run the blade speed at the maximum speed without buying a Zero Turn mower.
I’ll take the power washer too, I have the fan and the flood light, now I need a shop vac. I just bought 2 Ryobi patio scrubbers this week, I would’ve preferred to buy an EGO brand if they made them. I got the power brush and the power scrubber thingy, to clean the paver sand out of the seams, works amazingly well, but not built like an EGO. So I’m in the Ryobi ecosystem too.
2023 Can't reach Ego on the phone. Why should I buy any products when they don't care to answer their phone? My battery went out after only charging it 84 times. What do I do now? Use my 25 year old Honda GAS mower that still runs great?
One MAJOR thing lacking from EGO is MID tier and HIGH tier COMBO like a string trimmer with power load + a 650 cfm blower like Ryobi and other brand sell 😞. I would jump in a heartbeat at a string trimmer with power load with a 650 cfm blower combo 😍. And to specify in Canada because we only have their base version combo here 😩
@@Kitearmy sure but there’s is cost savings in combo!!! Exemple if I buy a mid tiers combo from Ryobi it will cost me 440$ if I purchased the bare tool and a kit from ego with similar performance it would cost me 660$ 😒 ad 16% taxes on top of that 😏 this shit is getting expensive!
That steering wheel is great but a dashboard like a car just under the wheel would be more useful. The whole screen will be spinning around when turning
Andrew, love your energy and enthusiasm. The 4 wheel steering zero turn will be VERY interesting, especially if they offer it for their lap bar models. Hopefully that's the case because I MUCH prefer lap bar control over steering wheel and pedals - lap bar control fits zero turn like hand in glove - cmon EGO don't get rid of the lap bars!. How do you think they are going to drive the front caster steering? I would expect they would add DC motors to the caster spindle housings in order to turn the forks in sync with the position of the lap bars. Your thoughts?
@@Kitearmy Will you be at the Equip Expo next week in Louisville? Apparently EGO will be there. Hopefully with more info on this mysterious "E-Steer" technology.
@@Kitearmy 7:01 It was misinformation. EGO duped everyone, starting with the influencers. They later said this was "an internal communications error". Did they ever correct the record with you? The game changing tech was the "4 wheel steering" enabling handling 20 degree slopes. That never materialized. All this is is a Z6 with a steering wheel. Maybe they ARE working on 4 wheel steering control but not on this model. Hopefully they are working on it for their lap bar models. They could possibly add high torque DC motors to the front wheel spindles and steer them from the lap bar control circuit.
How long until the reciew of the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Dual Battery Blower? Asking for a friend. Nevermind, I don’t have friends, just tools. And lot’s of “friends” that want to borrow my tools 😢
Im disappointed they didn't make a 30" mower or a stander 36 or 42" stander mower. seems like they just refreshed what they already had. Maybe design a pressure washer too that would be great. how about a sale or price reduction on that 7000 52" mower. just sayin.
Andrew, at 7:01, this information EGO sent you turned out to be misinformation. The EGO "e-steer" zero turn DOES NOT have "4 wheel steering" control and has no more improved performance on slopes than the current lapbar Z6. That was all apparently an "Internal communications error" on the behalf of EGO's PR department that was sent out to influencers like yourself and others who unwittingly repeated this misinformation. Did they even contact you to correct the record?
@@Kitearmy Yup. Its a shame if they didn't bother to contact you to update the info. Anyway, love your content and the creative way you present it. Keep up the good work. BTW, are you at the Expo this week?
@@Kitearmy it was an email they sent you? The paper you are reading? Could it be they are actually working on such technology and somehow someone sent out the information for the wrong machine? @@Kitearmy seems like a doable thing to motorize those front caster forks to turn in sync with the lap bars. Check out the new greenworks commercial 60” autonomous ztr. It looks to have motorized front casters for slope control.
These guys need to come up with an electric bike, electric chainsaw, electric mower, and battery backup with solar panels. Four 12 amp hour batteries in one solar recharging unit can give 48 amp hours of current during a blackout.
Any have Wi-Fi? Any have solar? Thanks! In the spring competition will be fierce! Some already have WiFi! Some already are solar! Thanks for the video!

Good stuff! Any chance of a power washer anytime soon?
I keep praying
The power invertor should have came with a screen
That would be sweet!!!
Are the 2023 batteries than last year’s? Considering mine is already defective
I keep waiting for a ego mower to rival the Toro Timemaster. I have several ego tools and I want to jump into a mower but I really need something with a 30-32” cutting width. Do you think that type of thing is possible in an electric?
Easily possible - I have been a proponent of a 30" as well. I used to own a timemaster - so I'm feeling ya on this
I as well want a larger push behind. 24-30" would be great!
I’m really close to buying the 2156, but I’m afraid of having buyer’s remorse when the 2167 comes out.
Good
Thanks
For the new multi head string trimmer looks like a new design. I wonder if it's compatible with the previous version.
I think it's a new power head - can't wait to see it in person
The auto load feature on my st1620t does not feed my line just spins around
Is there an off brand trimmer head that will fit on my ego?
Is the Ego two stage snow blower still a good buy right now? Or is there an updated model on the horizon? Thanks for the content!
Sure thing mate - I love the 2 stage model - way more hesitant to recommend the single stage models
Was disappointed that EGO didn't come out with a 30" or 32" push or Stand-on mower either residential or commercial. I don't understand why they came out with more mowers that compete with their existing ones??? I really like the EGO products. Can I assume that the new mowers have even better battery power management capabilities?
I think some of the mowers were just refreshes
@@Kitearmy yes, with brushless motors and the new standard single blade is the gator mulching blade.
Sure thing
They have the SNT 2406-4 with 4 10ah batteries
Where's the snow shovel are the not gonna release it now
Yep - it is a 2022 release - did you see my video
This real ?
I wonder if the new multi head attachments will be compatible with the older model or if you’ll have to upgrade to the carbon fiber version?
I think it might be a brand new multi-head power unit. Otherwise, I'm baffled how they would do it.
I think they changed the cable management on the mower
Ego!!! Where is the 30" riding mower??!??😵🤔
I wonder if that will ever come? I would prefer a 30" walk behind
@@Kitearmy I need 5 30" riders for my crews. I didn't want to do the other brand. 😔
Yeah - for certain products you have to break away - for now
2023 Can't reach Ego on the phone. Why should I buy any products when they don't care to answer their phone? My battery went out after only charging it 84 times. What do I do now? Use my 25 year old Honda GAS mower that still runs great?
Would like an affordable 30” mower
Me to
No reel mower?
I think another manufacturer has strapped a EGO motor to a reel mower
@@Kitearmy yeah and asking 4k for it. We EGO can make a better one!
@@HiddenAgendas Very few people in the north use reels - I think they are used more often on Bermuda?
One MAJOR thing lacking from EGO is MID tier and HIGH tier COMBO like a string trimmer with power load + a 650 cfm blower like Ryobi and other brand sell 😞. I would jump in a heartbeat at a string trimmer with power load with a 650 cfm blower combo 😍. And to specify in Canada because we only have their base version combo here 😩
you can buy them seperate - NO?
@@Kitearmy sure but there’s is cost savings in combo!!! Exemple if I buy a mid tiers combo from Ryobi it will cost me 440$ if I purchased the bare tool and a kit from ego with similar performance it would cost me 660$ 😒 ad 16% taxes on top of that 😏 this shit is getting expensive!
That steering wheel is great but a dashboard like a car just under the wheel would be more useful. The whole screen will be spinning around when turning
you wont be changing anything when turning so you wont need to see it
@@landon8676 that is poor reasoning for a bad design
Andrew, love your energy and enthusiasm. The 4 wheel steering zero turn will be VERY interesting, especially if they offer it for their lap bar models. Hopefully that's the case because I MUCH prefer lap bar control over steering wheel and pedals - lap bar control fits zero turn like hand in glove - cmon EGO don't get rid of the lap bars!.
How do you think they are going to drive the front caster steering? I would expect they would add DC motors to the caster spindle housings in order to turn the forks in sync with the position of the lap bars. Your thoughts?
Not sure how they are going to pull this off - I do agree with you about the bars. I will hold judgment until I get to test. Thanks for comment
They could possibly add high torque DC motors to the front wheel spindles and steer them from the lap bar control circuit.
snowblowers?
How long until the reciew of the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Dual Battery Blower? Asking for a friend.
Nevermind, I don’t have friends, just tools. And lot’s of “friends” that want to borrow my tools 😢
hahahah - supposedly 1 is on the way. I can't wait for my new friend to arrive
When is it going to be released?
within the nexs 3 months
When will their blower also vacuum like the other companies? I guess we'll have to wait and see. I want a leaf vacuum 😆.
No cordless vacuums yet. That would be a great addition
I would love to see a battery operated sprayer
do you mean pressure washer?
@@Kitearmy I want a good battery operated lawn sprayer
Mower best feature is cable management
I see that it looks like they made some changes - not sure why
The guy with the big Ego
…news release…lol! Cool stuff Andrew! Cheers, John 😉
EGO got the best of me
what is bad the news graphics on this show was better than what was on display in Jurassic world dominion.
Thanks mate - no actor here
no battery power washer? :( damn...
I know
Where are the reviews for these new products? Many of them have been out for months and nobody has videos on them.
need vacuum backpack
I know you said 2023 but do you have a release date? Especially for the inverter.
probably near Dec/Jan
Push/sp Mowers need to get beyond 21”. Not competitive. With required row overlapping the net stripe seems to be about 18”. Sad.
I woul like a 30" walk behind
That esteer looks kind of weird. Will need to see it in action
yeah - odd but will be interested to see how it operates
That's not good. I was excited to see what they came up with. I guess that is an oops???
@@Kitearmy Yup. Its a shame if they didn't bother to contact you to update the info. Anyway, love your content and the creative way you present it. Keep up the good work. BTW, are you at the Expo this week?
@@Kitearmy it was an email they sent you? The paper you are reading? Could it be they are actually working on such technology and somehow someone sent out the information for the wrong machine? Anyway, if it were me that were reading the email on video and it turned out to be 100% BS, I'd want an explanation from the person who sent it to me.
@@eighties8 I believe it is something they are working on - I guess we will have to wait and see
@@Kitearmy seems like a doable thing to motorize those front caster forks to turn in sync with the lap bars. Check out the new greenworks commercial 60” autonomous ztr. It looks to have motorized front casters for slope control.
Ego should make a pressure washer
that seems to be the consensus
Me crying in the corner cause I just bought the 2135sp
it will be okay
These guys need to come up with an electric bike, electric chainsaw, electric mower, and battery backup with solar panels.
Four 12 amp hour batteries in one solar recharging unit can give 48 amp hours of current during a blackout.
Right!
ego will sell more single-stage snow blowers if it's true self-propelled.
the two-stage is too large for people like me..
Meh! I have all the Ego products I need.
Im waiting on Ego to come up with power shovel. I need shovel to do digging around my garden.
interesting - can't even imagine how that would work
Another season without a Power Washer 😒? WTF Ego...
Maybe a spring release
Any have Wi-Fi? Any have solar? Thanks! In the spring competition will be fierce! Some already have WiFi! Some already are solar! Thanks for the video!
most of them have bluetooth for upgrades
@@Kitearmy Cub Cadet has GPS for mowing. Some home made push mowers have remote control. Soon I expect both push mowers, and riding mowers will be equipped with WiFi capabilities for the machine to be operated from the comforts of the computer. Robot machines are already available. This spring I expect an electric battery much lighter, much superior, and yes, much less expensive.
