Great Memories Russ of my many vacation to Vegas. 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it
Sometime stop in Hemenway Park in Boulder City, Lots of Bighorn Sheep grazing on the grass there overlooking the lake.
🐏🐏🐏🐑🐑🐑
Haven't been to SinCity but stayed at the little sister town, Reno
Exciting as well!!
Hello-
Happy Father’s Day.❤
I love going on your journeys ( Road Trips) with you.
You have taught me so much about so many states. Thank you ❤️
You have taken us to so many interesting places.
As you drove through Vegas (The Strip)🤮
There is not one single thing about it that excites me..
And- WHY on Gods green Earth would any Parent take their children there?🤔😔
They’re little children babies. 🤬
When you were heading into Circus Circus RV park… That looked alittle
Shady. It made me worry for you.🙏
Thank you for all that you do. You have taught me a lot.💥
Journey”s of a LIFE---TIME⏰
Just Keep D .. riving
👍❤💯
Hi Russ always wanted to see Las Vegas. Pretty cool video. Hope to see it at night with all the lights I think that would really be awesome. Well take care see you soon.
Haven't been to Vegas in decades. Thanks for the trip, tour, and sites. RV park looks interesting.
WOW! Thank you Russ for this very entertaining and informative and relaxing video. I don't travel and so sitting in my living room with a can of beer and a Pizza and getting a tour of America, is much appreciated. God Bless you always. Regards, Victor in Quincy, Ma.
Taking a coffee break from cleaning an rv to watch rv'er tv, lol. Nice. That section of 93 sure is picturesque. When the summer electric storms start rolling though, it seems to get hit pretty good around there. Hot and muggy too! Gas stations popping up in NV., while they're banning them in Cali. 🙄My only comment on Circus Circus rv park is the lack of shade when it gets hot. That big parking lot is a massive solar collector. Wish they had a tree or two but I guess they wouldn't do well in the heat and it'd be hard for security to see the goings-on? Anyway,...nice afternoon video present. Cheers. 👍
⚘ N.W. New Mexico in the beautiful Navajo Nation, the iconic and sacred SHIP ROCK formation; Navajo Trading Post @ Teec Nos Pos on the way to Four Corners and the AMAZING HOVENWEEP, where early Native dwellings are literally suspended on canyon walls. The beautiful SONORAN DESERT in Northern NM.; City of Aztec ancient ruins E. of Farmington; Chaco Canyon pueblo ruins (long way in, be aware of roads that cross drainage areas in case of arroyo). Just got back from my 3rd trip there in three years and just love it. WONDERFUL people, Russ. Enjoy!
Fun video, it's been a few years since I was there. Be safe.
Wow.. AN OLD SCHOOL A&W ROOTBEER RESTAURANT STILL OPEN AT 15:10 . HAVENT SEEN A&W FOR YEARS 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
That wasn't lighting at the airport it was a ufo taking off😅, safe travels Mr. Russ👍
THANKS!
You're welcome!
Russ,
I can't even begin to thank you enough! That was so fantastic!
I lived in Henderson for a few years, and I would have never, ever, ever left the area, except that I had family develop health issues and I had to move back to the state they were in. I'm doing almost everything I can to try and get back down!
I don't think there was one stretch of road that you were driving that I haven't been on! That was a wonderful trip! Thank you so very much! Made my heart sing!
(PS: little hint for people visiting Vegas. When we lived there, people would come stay with us and then go tour Vegas on their own. Couple of times we took them down to get photos with "the" sign. I want to say there was definitely a lot less people as the evening was coming. We never had to wait in line)
Another great video Russ. Gotta ❤ Vegas I spent many summers there with my father and it never got old. Thanks again.
Very cool Russ! Travel safe sir 👍
Thanks 👍
Howdy Neighbor! Peace Love and Many Blessings from Northern Arizona!👍✌️❤️🙏🙏🙏😇
Very nice..to see be safe 😊
Russ,Add some monsoon chasing this Summer.
A lot of people dislike the rv park at Circus Circus but we had a good experience when we visited it a few years ago.
Safe travels
Did you stay until Saturday night and see the Golden Knights Stanley Cup parade? 🤘🤘
The time I have stayed there was on my 17th birthday many many many years ago! Was with my parents in our family truck over-cab camper. It was a new-ish park back then and wonderful. Glad it still is.
I believe the slots at the Plaza are rigged.Ran thru a roll of nickles, didn't get nuttin'back.😜😜😜Thanx RVerTV.
Been there on a bus tour. Hoover dam and Las Vegas. Thank you 😊😊
Hope you enjoyed it!
We stayed at the Circus Circus some years ago. Our spot was along the same row you're on. It's a little too far North to walk to the big name casinos so we Ubered.
Thanks, RVerTV Russ. 👍
We Love RVerTV - BEST TV ON RUclips. Thank you Russ.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Great to see YOU putting up with the crowds and traffic in Vegas and not me. 😊 Thanks, Russ! Am curious about any of the buffets and if the food is any good overall.
The buffet at the Circus Circus was horrid at one time-- hopefully that has improved since cleanliness standards changed win businesses due to Covid . Hope so
Thank you❤😂
You're welcome 😊
Great vid as always Russ!!! Thanks for showing the strip....
Always enjoy the Vegas trips I've been there a few times but it was not that crowded I don't like crowds
You may find me tiring, but "Go climb Mount Charleston" via U.S. 95 and Route 156 ... Beautiful views, fresh air, quiet, multiple campgrounds. You'll thank me later (just kidding). RICHARD
I always love staying at main street casinos park. It is very inexpensive and the showers and laundry are nice. alot of security, even though it seems lime there isn’t
Our Mohave County Board of Sups, told ADOT to remove that new traffic signal. I guess you know what ADOT told them...
hahaha
thanks russ, you doing a great job,for showing all the beautiful video,s.keep on trucking russ
Nice to see you on The Strip. I lived and worked there for many years. So glad you included it in your video!!!!🎉😊
You were correct about Boulder Highway at one time being the main route that crossed Hoover Dam, which in the early years called Boulder Dam.
Another interesting fact about Boulder Highway is that it was once part of Route 466, which ran from Morro Bay to Kingman. The very same route that James Dean was driving on, back in 1955.
Have you ever stayed at Sam’s town RV park? It’s pretty nice!
It’s a good one
I like Boulder highway area , it has character.
To bad the Sam"s Town Buffet is closed, and KOA took the RV park over. There were always good shows at Eastside Cannery but it's closed too.
When are you going to roll up to Pahrump? Some really nice rv parks here
Tropicana resort is going to get torn down.
The As are moving to Vegas
I love listening to your voice,so calming!Happy Father's day Russ and may I ask you,how much did you pay for your rig and do you recommend it?Shopping around for a used one right now, thank you for the tour!
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY RUSS…. Enjoy your stay in Las Vegas… our own sin city
I'll follow you to New Mexico and Colorado this summer. Russ.
Did you make it for the Golden Knights Stanley Cup parade?
Great video Russ! Thank You!!
I used to stay at Thousand Trails, Las Vegas, NV down the street from Arizona Charlies...Loved it...
Hi Russ, Glad you were not here for the monsoon storm we had this past weekend a week after H.Hilary...Thanks for the videos. Boulder City is sure an almost ghost town since the 11 became the "hurry up" bypass. Willow Beach is lovely that is for sure. It has been a couple of years since visiting Boulder City so will have to do that in October for the Art in the Park. Busy weekend with the Powwow. Thanks for the reminders. Las Vegas has gotten huge the last couple of years. Time to move away! Thanks again.
It's been awhile since I've been to Las Vegas. The last time was in 2014. To say it has really changed would be an understatement. I sure enjoyed the ride, and look forward to your next video.
I'm guessing not easy taking a big rig down those streets. Can't wait for you to get back on the road. Make sure you enjoy your own travels. Thanks Russ!
That's the plan!
I used to come to Vegas to see my cuisine I always stayed at Circus Circus RV park good place 30 years ago
Great video, Russ!
I hope soon to be on the road. I find your vlogs informative and interesting. Happy Trails.
Last time I was in Vegas Circus Circus RV park was $65.00 a night, I opted to stay at the Stratosphere for $15.00 night with full maid service and free tickets to go up the tower.
Thanks so much for that trip right down the Strip! Haven’t done that in a bit over 50 years, before kids, lol!! Thanks a lot for the tour and tips. Take care.😊🥰
I really enjoyed the video thanks 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, a Casita fits nicely into a back up spot.
Thank you so much for driving the 'strip'. Never imagined how congested it is! You are brave driving amongst the traffic; I would panic! Cool video.👍
Thank you Russ for making this trip through Vegas. I have never been to Vegas myself. I too don't gamble. Rarely, I may take a power ball chance but I know the odds of winning are astronomical. I could never walk the strip; I'd need the scooters like the gentleman was using. Isn't there a location in Arizona where the old Vegas signs are maintained? Four lanes and still a lot of traffic. Have fun while your there.
I escaped Vegas haha. it was a fun short trip
We love Red River New Mexico. There are trails that go thru old ghost towns around the area near Red River. Beautiful mountains, friendly people. Near Taos NM there are a lot of Native Americans selling homemade bread made in their earthen ovens.
Very cool!
So how much was the parking space per night ?
$45/night.
It's a super sketchy area. Security is a joke there
It's not worth what you pay there. There is way better RV parks in Vegas
Ive been wondering about this RV park. We have to travel through Vegas & stop for az couple days! Thanks for what we needed to know & see!!!
I don't understand why he left-out the most important thing about the RV PARK: the price!
Another good one, like I'm right next to you.
Love it!
🙋♀Hello Russ! I hope you had a nice camping experience. Look forward to getting ready for our next road trip, & what new fridge you get. 👍
I will be taking the same route [93] fom vegas down to Yucca Az. Drove it many times, even before they installed the new bridges and upgraded highway 93 down to Kingman.
Cooling down with rver tv 😊got my spray bottle of watsr out 😅
Please consider visiting Shiprock in upper Northwestern New Mexico on your upcoming trip. Stay safe .
Thanks for letting us ride sh0tgun w/ ya 👍
Sure be great if you’re needed for filming that formula 1racing event! Back when my dad knew famous lounge act.. Checkmates…they knew my dad & the drafted Swede(my uncle since he considered my dad as a brother)from military service especially
inspection of lockers. Seems the Swede could remember shoes and socks switched beforehand! Ah well, many years back..
This is probably the last place on earth that I would ever want to visit, but I really enjoyed traveling along with you!! Very interesting, just to many people!! Thanks.
Thanks again for the insightful video. I’m from the northeast, and I was wondering if New Jersey, CT, or the New England states are in the horizon for your next wonderful videos. We have plenty of nice quiet small towns here in New Jersey, which I’m sure a lot of viewers would be interested to see. Again, thanks for the entertaining small-town videos. Take care always!
yes. the northeast is on the list for sure
Boulder City has become a really nice little town. Probably some of the best biking infrastructure around there in the US. Henderson is good too, but don’t try to ride around the Strip!
Good to see that the Circus Circus RV park is not a ghetto as their casino. 😉
I enjoyed the view of the drive down the Strip. I just rode the Deuce bus all the way down the Strip a week ago just for the people watching and to see what's new. (I live way out on the western edge of town, but I act like a tourist some times).
I feel a little bad for the Hoover Dam Lodge and the Railroad Pass Casino, because they both put a lot of money into improvements and renovations right before the new stretch of I 11 opened up and sent some much traffic onto that route instead of the road that passes right in front of them. There are several old businesses that have disappeared off that stretch of road since then. Didn't there use to be a helicopter tour launching area right along there?
Dig your folksy vibe, safe travels☺️
I remember driving over the dam
Last time I stayed there (probably about 2005) it was $12/night. Betcha it’s more now! 😏
Amazing views Russ! 🎉
Pretty soon Las Vegas is going to have a Major League Baseball team with the new baseball stadium in where the Tropicana Casino used to be, after the A's play in West Sacramento from next year to 2027
Enjoy all your travel videos. Lived in Scottsdale in the 80’s. Question: did you go the great loop on a trawler?
We used to live in Vegas , left in 1972 never been back since.
❤ Any way to sinc the shorter videos in order!? Doesn't make for a good time to have to search for the next video on thetrip.
Nice video
Vegas has a football team and coming soon a baseball team. Then the F1 happening in November. Things getting pricey now
So weird not seeing trees when you're used to seeing trees.
Good Stuff I just subed you😊
Donate their money to the machines
I guess it's time to tear down the Luxor pyramid in Vegas, after all, it is 30 yrs old! But I've heard there's pyramids across the ocean that are 5,000 yo. I guess Vegas should've borrowed the building plans from Egypt, theirs seems to last much longer.
By any chance are you rockin a Viofo dash cam, A139 Pro?
How do you like it so far?
Recently got the 2Ch A139 Pro but I haven’t gotten the chance to install it.
The road surface of the 'Strip' appears to be in poor condition. Maybe they're about to resurface it for the Formula One event.
My only complaints are that after you said "we have to pull around back..." and started to do your left turn..... you cut and spliced the tape and what should have been a left turn was spliced and now was a right turn?
Why did they make you empty out half your van when you were at the Lake Mead vehicle inspection? (Just wanna know if i should avoid that place)
Is Boulder City still dry?
Is it safe to walk from the RV park to the strip at night please Help
I don't like camping on HOT asphalt. being in vegas in the summer. NOPE
How did you rent an RV spot when you do not have a black water holding tank and a toilet?
What road are you on?
