OK Google, One Cheeseburger | McDonald's LEGO Google Assistant Automated Vending Machine

- Finally I have something new to share! I know it's been over a year so I hope this machine was worth the wait. Using Google Home Custom Commands, a few WiFi plugs and a Nintendo 3DS, I managed to integrate two Lego Mindstorms NXT's with the Google Home Mini. It took about a month to build going back and forth between iterations.
This machine packs cheeseburgers, veggie juniors, medium french fries, and Coca Cola.
You make your order using voice commands with the Google Home Mini.
Each item costs 2 euros and you can mix and match between all the options on a single order. It's just a matter of adding additional voice commands to the Google Home Mini.

I am beyond words. This is a technological and engineering masterpiece. It's crazy to see how far Lego machines have come. This would not have been even imaginable five years ago. Keep up the great work!

hey electry, i have a cool idea, the soda stream is very thin, i would suggest you have mulitple streams like 3 or 4 to speed up the soda dispensing process. also to keep it carbonation, maybe take a step further and invest in a small bubbler machine that will refresh the soda's carbonation, that would be cool
Definitely, thanks for your input. I'm also growing tired of the slowness of this current mechanism. It is super hard to work with liquids, especially when they contain sugar.

I’m speechless. I’m mind-blown. How the heck is this possible? This came out of nowhere, and I’m glad it did. Every aspect of the video joins together to produce this - this is beyond a masterpiece. The mechanics, the programming, the innovation, the ingenuity, the design, the features, the editing, the shots, the style, the tone, the narration, and so much more, is a whole new experience to LEGO Machines. Absolutely incredible! I would have never been able to think that anyone would be able to make such a machine, but look who did! Absolutely fantastic. Best machine the community has seen since its establishment.

Couldn’t you say:”Ok Google, Customer Validated” instead of paying? The 3ds plays a recording of this at 2:12
"Ok Google, Customer Validated" is just there so that the Google Home has a way of saying: "The Machine has receveid your money..." back to the customer. There is no validation connected to the command really, I tried to explain it vaguely at the end of the video.
Watching this gave me so much nostalgia ED. It's so awesome to see that you are still up in the LCM game.
So innovative to use all the various components together to create such functionality. The design is fantastic and I really enjoyed the video style. Incredible!

Wow, this is really amazing, and I can't believe Google Assistant made a huge impact on this. Being a person who enjoys using the Google Assistant, this greatly impressed me. Awesome comeback, man!
Could you not hook up something like a raspberry pi to the google home (to take in commands) then feed this out using bluetooth from the pi?
I noticed a flaw in this: if you use a light based sensor to know if you throw money into the slots, then you can technically just throw in a coin shaped piece of wood and then get the same result.
