  • Change is inevitable. So when new techniques, skills, and tools are developed in the world of dementia care, how do we as a company share out the strategies that can make a difference? That's the topic of this week's episode as Teepa and Greg discuss.

I feel like 10 - 15 years from now we will start seeing some more solid evidence that lowering risk factors will pay off. We keep learning about risk factors, but knowing how to manage them starts with today’s 30 year olds so we won’t really know until those people are older. No magic pill, but knowing how to work with brain change increases quality of life for caregivers and those whom they care for makes a dramatic difference for everyone! Thank you Teepa!

Language as a litmus test, hmmm… In my very limited care experience I found the horror of the family loosing faith, energy ability to help their suffering mom. And their solution was to help her die. Sadly that probably is too common. Thanks!
