They have a enough chilli in them to cause burning of a particular part of my anatomy when I went for a pee after eating them. The moral is to use a fork and not your fingers and to wash your hands instead of wiping them on a paper towel. I had to smear yoghurt on Mr Winkie to try and cool it down as washing was having no effect. Love your videos by the way, you are an inspiration.
You think that's bad, I grow my own chillis and I chopped some up for me and the misus to put in our dinner! Yes well I washed my hands thoroughly but let's just say at bed time she felt like she was on fire and my chopper felt burnt
Foil around wooden skewer, no foil. 2 solutions remove the skewer or soak/dip skewer in water for 30 seconds. Being careful to avoid dipping the meat lolly. I've done a pair at a time ( different product) it came out fine no fire. Tried Putting dried skewer in later (by itself) started smoking after 1½ minutes.
I get 600gm of kebab meat from Iceland, then I get "easy open" pitta bread, and a box of salad from Tesco's. Make my own garlic mayonnaise, and have a pretty damn good Kebab for about £1!
Any chance of getting that yog dip recipe from your lovely lady?? (Serious question) 😊 We are for ever in search of a lovely home made dip in Hartlepool
Great review Gaz as always a little bit expensive for cow’s tail 🤣 you should cook your own some decent beef mince and lots of wonderful spices and have a great Christmas to you and the family 👍🎅🎅🎅
I think it would be safe to say it would be so tasty if they were really made from Ox Tail, but as that is a coveted piece of meat, I don’t think it would be used for kababs.
I've tried these. I've also tried the Carolina Reaper quarter pounder beef burgers, chicken strips and shredded chicken which were a bit spicier. I picked up a tikka masala curry made with Pepper X at Iceland which I can't wait to try but it might be a bit much for most people.
Absolutely lovely in a flour tortilla, some chopped tomato, red onion, lettuce, sour cream or garlic mayo and an extra drop of Frank's chilli sauce. Great review Gareth 👍👍👍
Hi Gaz, please try the new flemmings American style hotdogs microwave burger from Iceland, I'm really fussy with microwave products but these are delicious
Cheers to the wife for thinking of the dip! Clever lass. Don't see the point of the stick if people are just going to pull it off (ooh what he said). Now if you were having a party, you could cut the koftas up the short way and stick toothpicks in them for appetizers. Another thought is making lettuce wraps or cabbage rolls out of them. I suppose these people who go on about garbage meat never ate a hot dog or sausage of any kind in their lives, nor ate a fast-food burger or a chicken nugget.
Gareth I had these only the other day and finshed them tonight. They are rather nice and not overly hot. But for £4 its a shame there wasn't 10 in a box rather than 6. But still I would by them again as they're so nice. Cheers Gareth. 👍.
I think Aldi do lamb one like those. Gareth I'd just light to say thankyou for doing movember ❤ I lost my nephew 2 years he took his own life and my dad is terminally ill with prostate cancer x Thankyou x
Let's be honest? 6 Koftas for £4? That is a bit of a bargain. A lot less than buying from a take-away. Carolina Reaper? I like to have the original flavour. I love Reaper in my Chilli's, because I love hot, spicy food. I would buy these, no problem. But I would make my own dips. I thought that this was a great review. A great value for money review. Which is what your all about. 👍👍.
Here’s a tip for you Gareth. When doing foods with skewers in ovens and the like- dip them in veg oil before you put them in the oven. Stops them burning. 👍 no need to waste or worry about tinfoil then.
Hi Gareth, good review, yet again. The Koftas looked tasty enough, but it's only part of a meal. I don't know how much you'd pay in a takeaway, so I'm not sure if it's good value or not. Overstating the spice level again! and again, with the packaging, they could have cut that in half with proper thought. If I ever get to an Iceland. I might give them a go. Notice you didn't review your wife's dip! but Mmmm is good enough. Have a good week.🙂👍
It's a festive spot on from me Gaz, I watched a guy called Gary Eats who paid £650- 00 for a rib eyed steak in Knightsbridge London im not expecting you to try that one bud goodness gracious me 🖖✨️🎬🌞😊

Gareth the only reason these Low Quality so called Meat products have to have vast amounts of Chilli added to the muck they call meat is to disguise the original smell and taste. The hotter they make it yhe lower the ingredients quality. Non of this process rubbish for me. Love your reviews wishing you a wonderful Christmas. Colin
I love the controversial ones you test as the comments make me laugh. It must be a blessing for manufacturers that chilli was discovered. Good one Gareth. Such fun 😂
73% beef, don't really understand the above comments! I think that's pretty good for what it is, although I do avoid buying this kind of product myself

Nutrition geek says they are decent macros. Not sure about the preservatives. Wrapping in foil is a bit of a faff. Im thinkung pitta bread, cheese coleslaw and beetroot.
I had these around Halloween and I'm not ashamed to admit I wrapped the meat in foil. The instructions should be clearer! They obviously aren't considering we both made the same assumption. They were horrible by the way, undercooked and went in the bin.
I ordered food for Christmas and couldn't believe the expense. So looking at these over priced items doesn't seem that bad now. But dear or dear things are not improving price wise.

When a skewered kebab is the size of a party sausage and nobody says owt we got problems.

If you've got no foil , you can dip the skewers in water for a couple of minutes , that should stop them burning.
the price of £4 is scarily shocking! 😬

Haha I'd be no good lol
Looking forward to this one 🤔😂🤣❤️💛💚
So they aren't that hot so I can get some? Would you say they are as hot as Peri Peri?❤️💛💚
Too hot for me! I think you’re very experienced in ‘hot stuff’ so maybe do a comparison of antacids & ‘ringer stinger’ medications? 👍🤣🤣
Tin foil is to stop fat n juice contamination to inside of air fryer or grill. Also enhances flavour of product
