Thanks for doing this video. Glad to hear you’re not experiencing it with the things you’ve done to mitigate it. Like you said nakeds will inherently be less stable than the fully faired bikes and this one seems with the light steering feel that makes it so flick-able could make it less stable at speed. I probably wouldn’t push it past 160 anyways so glad to know with just a few changes it’s stable up to then. Anyways thanks for listening and doing a video for those of us that are looking at this bike and had this concern, gives us some piece of mind.

I just got my M1000R and with gear I'm almost into the 210 weight at 6' I noticed that the Pre-load in this bike came on 0 which is good because it let you set your preload in accordance to weight. For those complaining about wobble. Please adjust your static sag and riding dampening and that most likely remove the wobble problem as your bike is probably leaning to back during acceleration and that is most likely the cause of your wobble.

Hey Ray!! Really appreciate your reviews of this bike! I picked mine up in June and have put about 1000 miles on it so far. Under moderate acceleration, I've got the speed wobble. Most noticeably from 90+(private roads and whatnot). Any suggestions to how I can remedy the issue? I've heard that putting it in dynamic can help with it but haven't been able to try it yet. For reference, I'm about 230 in all my gear and I expect that the factory "Road" suspension settings are a little too soft.
I'm right at that weight to, here is what I did , tighten your steering stabilizer to 11 clicks , 31 pounds of air in front and rear tires. Go ride it and you should see a HUGE DIFFERENCE- LET ME KNOW!!

@elliotbeggs9739 I flashed mine a it's so fast, you can get a bren tune and it will keep the exhaust valve open , I've got a discount code for Bren Tune if you ever want to flash it. Definately going to try a speed run with the lower tire pressures. Mine wobbles all the time when goose it and get up to speed quickly (starts at about 130), I always have to back off the throttle to get it to stabilize, once I do that I can get back in the gas and it's fine. I've had mine up to 171 mph and it was stable, and I still had some throttle left 😉 Thanks for the video and info.
Can you imagine what it would be like without the wings? Since I've bren tuned mine - I think I'm going to pit a ohlins steering damper on it just to be safe.
