I like the look, but frankly I don’t buy autos that are non-hacking. Like most Timex watches in the future you will find this one heavily discounted.

Timex certainly is releasing some fun watches. Love the cheeky T on the hour hand and the fact that is automatic with acrylic glass. Plus it looks cool. I dislike that 50m WR, and not sure about the bracelet.

I am so glad l bought the all black GMT Master ll instead of the Batman. All the copycat crap being thrown out there l actually don't care for the black and blue anymore. That Timex is a real tacky looking thing. Cheers

Wow, you have most to have been ready to "click" on the checkout at the Timex site! Because I had one and before I was able to do the checkout, it was gone, so I have to wait for it to come back. Anyway, it looks decent and seems to be well made, but yeah it is a bit overpriced but if demand calls for it, I guess it's fine. Nice vid and thanks for showing it off.

Yea I ordered before the email went out lol checked the site in the morning and ordered once I saw it was up... I like it alot not sure if it's a keeper yet but it's a good looking watch for sure...

@@WatchChris Awesome! Well, I think if you are able to do a quick band swap, it may give it a different look, although, the lugs at 18mm and the way the case is set up, it will be hard to find a proper bracelet. I have the Q and I like it, is a nice watch. Anyway, keep up the great work!

I finally got to open it and like it. My wife can wear the Q-Timex and I can wear the M79.

Was excited about this watch when I first saw it, but now not so much. The bezel is the biggest deal breaker for me. Why a traditional count-up diving bezel on a 50m watch? I think 50m is totally fine for most watches (people need to get over water resistance you’re never taking your watch that deep), but if it’s supposed to be a dive watch then it should have better water resist. Since it’s not a dive watch it should have been something more useful like a count-down or 12 hour bezel. I guess if you’re just looking for a Rolex homage then it works, but a homage and a (mostly) useless bezel? No thanks.

While I love what Timex is doing and quite enjoy my Q, I will probably skip this watch. It's's really cool, but I don't think the specs are there for me to spend close to $300. Looks super fun though

Yeah this is actually pretty expensive watch for the specs I agree there are a lot of micro brands out there that give you a slightly better movement with the sapphire crystal and a screwdown crown...

@@WatchChris I just got the blue dial Islander from Long Island Watch with sapphire crystal and sapphire bezel for $299. As fun as the M79 looks, I just couldn't justify it
