To see the difference from 2 years ago to now is mind blowing! His technique and chops now are way crazier! Shows you how much he loves his craft to be so good!
It’s not that. The difference comes from the sound replacement. He’s a very good drummer but in reality, he doesn’t sound like you hear on his youtube videos, nobody does. He hit those notes, that’s true. But the velocity is being altered when you replace your kick, snare and toms.
@@kozanism5970 Although that is true, he still has such a different style of playing now lol. this is so 'simplistic' compared his current 'overplaying' style. Not saying that the overplaying is bad, nor is this :D
@@pookapookyoyo3095 I am kind of addicted to his content :) I really enjoy his videos! I am not a drummer but being a producer/engineer since 20 years, I really love watching good drummers and he's a great drummer, no doubt. But that tightness that comes from the sound replacement is kinda a BIG part of his playing :) It would be nice if he makes video where we can hear real performance from the room mic and the final replaced version back to back to understand the difference. I'd guess that the real performance would be still very good but a very different one from what we hear.

If you take all the speed and flash away...he's still awesome. Jazz, Latin, all sorts of grooves in there. Awesome!!
He regularly throws in all sorts of world influences into his playing, it's very cool. Every time someone in his comment sections posts something like "pff yeah, but jazz drummers" I can't help but laugh at the pseud exposing himself. Siberiano is an all-around unique package, great player. No serious musician would mock a guy of this caliber, he's at the top of his game in a time where kit drumming has never had better players (because, realistically, kit drumming is relatively new).
@@shemsuhor8763 Apples and oranges. Even the guy himself says he does not know much about jazz. And still jazz guys like Dennis Chambers praise him for his crazy skills. The metal covers played with one hand, or playing Dream Theater stuff with a just snare, floor tom and single pedal... just absolutely superb technique.
I saw him do Good Times Bad Times the other day and he was right there with one of the All Time Feel drummers....pretty amazing Guy
This guy brings a new dimension to beat creativity,his chops and phrasing are another level,well done bro.
He makes the drums sing as if they were a lead vocal.
I love seeing comments about how good he was relative to 2 years after this performance. What's insane to think is that almost four years later, EES is WAY better than he was here. His level of expertise and technical perfection simply has not stopped going up.
The amount of practice he puts in in absolutely amazing.

This guy has become one of my favorite drummers... Piert, Carrey, Portny is my holy trinity of drums. This guy makes it into my Mount Rushmore of 4.
You should check out "MARIO DUPLANTIER DRUM SOLO 2022 "MOVEMENT" ". One of the nicest drum solos I've heard in awhile.
Very mainstream list you have. Ignoring the much better talent that exists.
@@ThanksWyatt Do tell, oh wise one. Drums are great but sometimes you just want a musician that happens to play drums, like Neil Ellwood Peart OC. Siberiano seems to be more about speed and augmenting. Skillwise, he's up there, like you're probably referring to with those other drummers you like better than the OP list.
@@83n80y start with Matt Garstka. From there, you will discover more dynamic technical talent than any of the other drummers mentioned in OP's list. Then go listen to a Neil Peart solo (it will sound like a high school band compared to Garstka). You're welcome. Have a great day.
@@ThanksWyatt Your opinion would possibly be valued except that by discrediting the absolutely phenomenal speed, consistent power, groove, dynamics, and coordination of El Estepario, you completely discredit yourself. His left hand speed alone is as fast or faster than most professional drummers using both hands, and his single-foot bass drum speed is on par with some of the best double bass drummers out there.
Awe absolutely in awe , one of the most amazing drum solos I've ever seen because of the pure spontaneous and musical, man I am not skilled enough to describe what you just did but , I have to practise more, and you are seriously the drum god/ benchmark,!!!!
If you'd put in the amount of practice he does - you'd be just as good. That's all that seperates him from you. (assuming you have bundles of talent😊)

One, does not equate, the number of ' drums ' one has. IT, IS HOW YOU USE THEM. Bass drum, snare, floor tom. THIS GUY, WILL GO down in history, as even an improvement, on Buddy Rich, and Sonny Emory...and probly a million others.....
