It’s not that. The difference comes from the sound replacement. He’s a very good drummer but in reality, he doesn’t sound like you hear on his youtube videos, nobody does. He hit those notes, that’s true. But the velocity is being altered when you replace your kick, snare and toms.

I am not a drummer but being a producer/engineer since 20 years, I really love watching good drummers and he's a great drummer, no doubt. But that tightness that comes from the sound replacement is kinda a BIG part of his playing :) It would be nice if he makes video where we can hear real performance from the room mic and the final replaced version back to back to understand the difference. I'd guess that the real performance would be still very good but a very different one from what we hear.
He regularly throws in all sorts of world influences into his playing, it's very cool. Every time someone in his comment sections posts something like "pff yeah, but jazz drummers" I can't help but laugh at the pseud exposing himself. Siberiano is an all-around unique package, great player. No serious musician would mock a guy of this caliber, he's at the top of his game in a time where kit drumming has never had better players (because, realistically, kit drumming is relatively new).
@@shemsuhor8763 Apples and oranges. Even the guy himself says he does not know much about jazz. And still jazz guys like Dennis Chambers praise him for his crazy skills. The metal covers played with one hand, or playing Dream Theater stuff with a just snare, floor tom and single pedal... just absolutely superb technique.

The one thing that sets our Mr Siberiano apart from the all of the amazing drummers solos that can be found on the old YoueeTubee! Is that whilst most of them play a kit with 20 Toms 10 Floor Toms 4 Bass Drums 15 Cow Bells 7 Snares and a 20ft long Glockenspiel! Old Estepario is sitting behind his One Snare, One Floor Tom, One Bass Drum and a couple of Cymbals but still manages to make it sound even more incredible than most others!!

in reality the drum machines box and computer was just created for limited the stuff and all focus in a minimum of machines. Not really for make better than human, and just of point of view speed you can go more faster than human but it's not just the only reason.
They made drum machines for guitar players, so they can train at home with a "drummer". Same goes for the TB303, to make bass lines. It's just tools to help musicians when they play alone, at home. Roland's boss said it in an interview.

Siberiano seems to be more about speed and augmenting. Skillwise, he's up there, like you're probably referring to with those other drummers you like better than the OP list.

Completamente de acuerdo. El Estepario es bueno, no se discute. El sonido del snare con la pesa tambien es bueno. Pero no creo que tooooodas las canciones deban tener ese sonido ya que es un sonido muy característico de una banda colegial. Asi como no tooooodas las canciones deben estar sobresaturadas de redobles en cada pequeña oportunidad que se tiene. Son dos cosas en las que reincide mucho El estepario. No es hate hacia él. Solo creo que hay que moderarse un poco.

You should check out "MARIO DUPLANTIER DRUM SOLO 2022 "MOVEMENT" ". One of the nicest drum solos I've heard in awhile.
