  • When we get to heaven, will we remember our loved ones who didn’t make it in? The Bible says in Revelation 7:17 - For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

      I am NOT sure this is talking about Heaven. Look at this verse
      20 “Never again will there be in it
      an infant who lives but a few days,
      or an old man who does not live out his years;
      the one who dies at a hundred
      will be thought a mere child;
      the one who fails to reach[a] a hundred
      will be considered accursed.
      What are your thoughts on this verse?

      I agree. “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.” Isaiah 65:17. It seems to say the former earth and heavens, and even its inhabitants, will not be remembered. If we do not remember the earth how will we remember its inhabitants.

      I agree with Isaiah 65:17 - and Isaiah 35:10 Reminds us that God gives us Everlasting Joy - The ransom of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with singing. And, then this phrase, “Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads.” Everlasting joy.

    In the context of the conversation between Abraham & the rich man, there’s memory & cognizance on the part of each, yet there is no sympathy for the rich man, or his brothers on Abraham’s part. In a paraphrased account from Charles Spurgeon, in which he asked his mother about her going to heaven without him. She replied: ‘I will simply say amen to the judgment of God’. Sadly, those who hear the gospel & reject Christ & go to hell are exactly where they wanted to be. This is the single most great tragedy in the history of history. I have people in my life who I love dearly, who also reject Christ. Please pray for them if you have time.

And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family. Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. This is a real tough subject to preach on but needs to be discussed . We lost our son 2 years ago an Army disabled veteran from combat injuries in Iraq , we had him in Christian school when he was young and he loved the lord as he grew up he changed as I also did spiritually then I came back to my source Jesus and asked forgiveness as far as I know he never did so I ponder this a lot just wondering If he was saved or not, it is so hard to even think about.
    We will never know the answer until we are in heaven .

      when people are about to die, even if for a moment, I believe they call out to God, and the word says He who calls upon the name of the Lord shall b saved; plus think of the thief on the cross beside Jesus; all he said was remember me when u get to your kingdom, and Christ replied THIS DAY thou shalt be with me in paradise. So your son very likely knew he was about to die and called upon the Lord; get ready to see him there!

      I'm going through the same thing concerning my mom. She died June 25th 2022 from a brain aneurysm. I struggle so much wondering where her faith was and did she make it. I cry almost every day about it. From what I understand hell is a terrible place I wish on no one. Her and I never really talked about her faith. My sister says she use to talk about going to church but going to church doesn't seal ones salvation. My thoughts are screwed about this everyday. Lord please give our minds peace.

      Yes that it is a difficult thing but our lord is a very loving merciful God and long suffering towards us as well …. A lot of us grew up in a Christian household some not…. But in your case one Bible passage comes to mind …. Bc it’s what happened to me as well as many others …..”teach a child in the way he should go and when he gets older he will not depart from it “…. So there’s hope there the way I see it …. I strayed and had to learn the hard very painful ways even effecting my health a lot … but I returned ….so very possible he returned to his roots and what you taught him in his last time moments …. And God isn’t willing anyone should perish …. So there’s deff hope there yet my friend ….trust God tho and lean not on your own understanding of things…keep the faith brothers and sisters for soon we shall be with the lord Jesus …abba father

      @@Officer_Naughty-Cuffs I feel your pain. I lost my mom 7/7/2022. She was 60. Heart condition. This morning I lost my aunt. Cancer. I had the chance to speak to them about the gospel. It was a tough battle, but i don’t know what was in their heart at the end. I’m here looking for answers too. The not knowing is painful. The hope I cling to is Jesus and His word is true. He answers prayer and His word doesn’t return void. My aunt cried when I preached to her and she did say a prayer in faith. My mom could not speak (intubated) so I never heard her confess the Lord. I had a dream of her one night being dressed in white and dancing. I hope your loved one is with the Lord.

Although some us who have studied the KJB for many years He has already revealed it to them and there is such a peace once He gives you that understanding. Guess we will see but I know one thing when we get there, those things that seem so important now or such a big deal will fade like smoke in a windstorm.

    This is a good answer, but I would add to it that God is a Holy, Just and Upright God. The purpose of the coming White Throne Judgement is so that all peoples ever existing, their lives and motivations, hearts and their final destinies will be revealed to all. This is both necessary but also an act of compassion and mercy to all. Because those going to hell will know EXACTLY why they are sent there, and those who are not, will know EXACTLY why those they cared for aren’t with them in Heaven. Knowing such a thing can be a great comfort; as opposed to not knowing and always having that WHY GOD gnawing away at you. I would posit even those in hell will at least have the tiny grace or comfort to know WHY they are suffering there. Better than the added burden of not knowing.

    Thanks for sharing the Word brother. I'm not a biblical scholar, but I understand enough to get me in trouble with questions. Is there a reason you don't want comments posted? No offense, God bless you for spreading the Word. Jesus Christ walks TODAY ❤🙏

    I've got a nickname for Pearl. Loved one introduced me to him here on RUclips. Well she tells me that he threw tomahawks. And so it wound up that Pearl got nicknamed "The Tomahawk Pastor".
