I think the problem with this nrg/optic core is that they are tilters, they seem to get riled up/frustrated easily when they lose rounds they expected to win.

True. Crashies looked tilted even in Ascent when he gets kills. It showed too at the end of Map 3. He was stretching his neck and shit.
As an NRG fan really upset about this loss but have massive respect for SEN and especially JohnQT (JohnCutie) Definitely will support them in Masters until NRG come back. It’s also so funny when everyone in the Live Chat always says “Cinema” 😂

Definitely feel for NRG and I love the NRG core. Been a fan since the Envy days. That being said, I'm also a SEN fan since the beginning so it was really cool to see both the teams I cheer for head to head. Big upset from SEN, they deserve it.

I kinda disagree about Jordan tho. He is a really really good player that can have great impact in almost every team. See in the past when he is playing as a sub for sen he clutch so much round, he is really good in C9 and now when he is back in sen he is still clutching and pulling round out of his ass and now he got good igl and great teammates. I kinda expect a lot now from this team

Demon1 on Omen And Victor on Raze. They both had no impact at all. Props to sen.
Honestly, if theyre running jett on every other map, why not just run it on split? Even if it's not optimal, I feel like its better than having demon1 on an agent he's literally never played competitively. Also no offense to victor, but his raze has never impressed me. Zekken raze is 5x better, theres no upside to having victor on raze
Yea ngl just play omen marved, viper Crashies, jett demon1 and victor raze if u want to play raze. Then have Ethan play Kayo or learn breach since he already plays initiator.

This is probably the best start any VCT year has had so far , the year has barely begun and its already filpping tierlists in every region (except maybe china)

@@cyberf4mineLike whoever watched their ascension stuff did think FPX, JDG and DRG most likely will end up in top 4 alongside EDG. Maybe had more hope that BLG would've bounced back but I think wouldn't have put them as front runner along with EDG with seeing how they had dip in their performance compared to champs last year.
But probably didn't pred that FPX would make it all the way through to Madrid.
Damn I wanted Wolves so badly to make it, they did better than FPX but lost due to unlucky brackets like meeting blg and edg

Regardless of who you're a fan of, this was one of the best series we've had in ages. If map 3 wasn't a complete blowout with johnqt smurfing the entire lobby, I might say its one of the best we've had period.
It's just pure despair that now both my teams (DRX & NRG) are somehow BOTH not making it to madrid, and both got eliminated in their qualifying matches. Life is cruel asf man 😭
Map 2 also kind of felt boring because Ethan just shit on everyone, although it was far more interesting because SEN did get more rounds in
ngl, NRG letting split slide into the map vetos makes me nervous for SEN since Chet and NRG has all the time and vods to watch and plan out anti strat but ngl, SEN looks incredible on Split and NRG looks like they are first day on this comp

SEN’s set plays remind me a lot of old DRX, but they actually have great mid round protocols and adaptation as well.

They deserved the win. They VCT format basically was rigged to give them the hardest possible chance of making Madrid while making it far easier for other teams. Sen won the hardest possible pathway to victory. They deserve it.
I feel like besides the fragging the issue is not the core it’s Ethan, I think having an actual igl than one that is stepping up to the role is so much better, ik they were going to fail because of that, their starts aren’t as good, and their comprehension and understanding isn’t either.
the their igling this series was actually top notch. They consistently found the weaker site on sunset and ascent. If anything, i think ethan is BY FAR the best player on NRG rn judging by their most recent matches. I also thought he was the best player on EG.

SEN fan but I think Ethans calling has actually impressed a ton. They're just not as drilled as SEN. Also not a crazy take to say Demon1 was having an off day. He was looking mad shaky and not like his usual self. One more round on Sunset for NRG and they would've 2-0'd. All that being said, they trolled by picking Split. Sure there's tons of tape on how SEN play that map but they still did NOT have an answer for it. Ggs, hope NRG can get better as the season goes on

The Sent team synergy is just off the charts. There's still room for improvement, but they're looking so clean. Zekken still has room to grow as a player, you could tell he was off his game a bit map 2. Probably just the pressure, that can be grinded out. Tenz comes off as indecisive person. Constantly changing his mouse, his sensitivity, etc. The combination of JohnQT and Zellsis calling I bet really help to ground him. Sacy is just a rock. He's a really stable and constantly good player. He'd be a great addition to any team.
But the real synergy comes from how much fun they have together. Which is a lot due to Zellsis. Just goes to show how important a teammate that motivates and invigorates you is.

@@juiceantready4746 NRG won both pistols and got away with a defuse stick as well, they SHOULD HAVE won that map but didn't. SEN beat them in almost every gun round and it wasn't just that one hero play. NRG really didn't deserve it, but i hope them pop off in the regular season.
