The last where johnqt killed Marved was pointed out by someone maybe fns that Jett dashed out of nowhere then johnqt checked it like got curious I guess.
@@Junil_Peren Yep exactly NRG were trying to bait by having Jett dash away and run to market but they left Marved in mid. Maybe seemed a bit too obvious so alarm bells went off for johnqt to check for a lurker.
The amount of effort that goes into explaining the strategy these teams employ is easily the best I've seen on RUclips. Some of my favorite Valorant content out there.
This feels much better type of analysis than the ones where they just do round by round and just explain whats happening. Great video as always and would love if you cover any of the last games of masters Madrid as those were some crazy valorant being played. If possible try to make a video on how sentinels won the rematch against gengi in the finals.
platoon I just want you to know, I love how silky and manly your voice is. I blush every time I click on your video and hear your soothing vocals. Nothing pleases me more than to see a notification that you posted. Please continue your wonderful work.
I feel like SEN has been improving EVERY SINGLE MAP... They keep coming up with anti strats and a lot of them are on the fly apparently which is crazy. Their synergy is unmatched rn and they did win Master Madrid and it was Absolute Cinema
Absolutely. Everyone has been praising their ability to adapt in the game and this match put that on full display. They did exactly the same thing during the Grand Finals against GenG. They kept adjusting their counterplays and GenG just slowly ran out of steam trying to keep up resulting in an out of sync and nervous GenG on map 5. Absolute Cinema for sure
22:20, I love how we can see the top level anti-strating on the individual level, for example: both zekken and johnqt (in his cam) turned the pop flash which is what eventually allows Sekken to spray down Demon1 while he is charging Sacy.
Why can’t we just collectively agree that nrg are cracked? They are a team of champions it was going to be a hard game anyway! And they were serious contenders to win Masters , winning against them showed sentinels potential and that they are the more well adapted team tho I think they should have been in masters compared to some other teams
I didn't see it mentioned in the comments anywhere, but the reason that demon1 was missing some of his shots and was off his game is because his fiance has health problems and had some complications before the match
It's no surprise that sentinels were a more structured team given the amount of pre-season practice they've had with each other. With that being said, the fact that NRG, given how weird they were playing still managed to test sentinels, the champions of Masters THAT hard is insane to me. When NRG find their confidence and synergy I have no doubt that they'll be a top 4 team in Americas. It's just a matter of IF they'll ever click that way. Much like the sentinels team, the pieces of a great team are already within NRG. They just have to make everything connect to become a champions level team
NRG is just a bit disjointed at the moment. This team just need more time to play together and they'll be top 3 teams easily in americas probably qualify for shanghai too
But that defeat also taught NRG a lot of things. It taught them to be more prepared and ready next time instead of choosing confidence over those preparations.
I have never thought Valorant could be this deep. I watch Valorant only like a sport never played but it i know everything about the maps and game via watching this but i have never imagined that it could be that strategic
im not used to commenting because i don’t mainly speak english but i would really really would like to watch an analysis on the grand finals. i strongly believe that both sentinels and gen g deserved the win, i just would love to know how jhonqt was smarter enough to pull out the win with his strats, as well as gen g not being easy to play against to. as always amazing video, love your content🖤 greetings from Panamá!
Could you make a video on “how” you watch VCT games critically and analytically? Topics like what aspects you pay more attention to, or what’s running through your head. Would make an interesting and informative video for the rest of us!
BTW in a react video JohnQT has said that the stack on the last round at 24:50 as actually called by TenZ. All of them calls midround based on their intuition.
Awesome content, great how you tell the entire story of such a back and forth match. I did however start to lose focus later on in the video, feeling like the back to back round coverage began to blur into each other, and I think I lost some of the significance of earlier rounds that I forgot about. I think if you summarized & highlighted certain trends and adjustments and grouped them together, (without going into as much detail in every round) I could appreciate them more. I do appreciate the attention to detail though, like when it comes to very specific angles / plays and even small misplays, (adjusting omen flash to hit on top of market box), and maybe would like to see that in a separate style video, like for example in similar format to your analyst application video.
John and Tenz are brothers. They look similar, they play really well off of each other, and yet they still have their differences in gameplay and who they choose to main. Literal brothers
Sen current roaster isn't as new as NRG one. But both are relatively new. Give NRG time and they are winning next champions. Who know we may as well see NRG vs SEN on grand finals ;)
Huge sentinel fan, but this video just makes it clear that sentinels improved due to their roster playing so many times together (ofc strats too but Yknow). Their time in the off-season just made them so much more cohesive as a team. That literally gave them the edge over NRG who are a good team but are still finding that cohesiveness with each other.
23:39 I dont think Johnqt checks this corner because of the previous rounds. What gave it away was Demon1 dashes for no reason in mid when there was no one mid. I think this sign was a hint that it could have been a bait. Because Zekken or Johnqt can hear the dash.
i think a lot of why sen won was up to johnqts midrounding. some of the best adjustments i have ever seen from a pro team round to round, constantly growing and improving.
i think nrg has the potential to be the best valorant team and they only lost because of nrg's lack of experience (a very young team). so it's very exciting to see how they play the next stage!
I mean let’s be honest tho, a lot of nrgs synergy mistakes were not small. Like it’s not a small margin in determining the round if people are overpeeking and throwing their lives away, it’s a lack of discipline and synergy.
Watching this live, I literally laughed saying wow, they're so smart in reading plays but fight like me trying to 1v5 every time! And I'm bronze! 😂😂 Even Tenz runs from unfair fights! Before every game, I have to keep reminding myself, don't be a hero, you have a team. Don't be a hero, you have a team. Then my team 1v5s anyway. bahaha!
i feel like NRG will be the best team in the world so much individual talent from each player and always have a good read on the game their only mistakes being communication which can easily be fixed with practice since that was their first match
wdym they finally got tested when they faced nrg. bro, they played all the teams in their group e.g 100t,lev,loud, who were looking like the best teams in the entirety of na excluding nrg. so idk what your talking about.
They should have picked up runi when they had the chance. I still don't understand why they kept victor and crashies when there's more better players in tier 2. The roster could have been. neT Ethan Runi Demon1 Marved
As someone else pointed out, the graphic at 1:07 is flipped. G2 should be NRG and NRG should be G2. Thanks for pointing it out @smelldon8470!
Shoutout my boy smelldon, he's a real one.

to think that they won masters now and they were only 2 rounds away from not even going, shows the questionable format tbh
