    Just bought a production version in Bulgaria. For the reasonable price of just under 65 euro it comes with battery and charger, sturdy case, a bunch of attachments and all the basic bits you need to get going.

    the green PFBS 12 B3 can have 2 bearings installed on the shaft. This new one has only one bearing and no space for second one. The old one has easy to get motor replacements too.

      Any links on the bearings and motor?

    finally they made one. My older rotary tool died a few months back and i wanted a brushless replacement since those motors are generally superior. Ended up buying a dremel 8260. BIG MISTAKE, it was a great tool while it lasted but only lasted 2 months of mild use. somehow a piece of material came lose from the rotor and jammed the motor in an instant while running freely with no load. i managed to remove the piece and the motor now turns freely however the controller doesnt seem to have survived. well great its now a €160 paperweight. i Plan to buy this one as soon as its available online, hope it outlasts the 8260

    Looks like it has good bearings compared to the chargeable green model (where there is an unused bearing slot right at the end of the tool and it has weird vibrations...

    I bought the production version just a couple of days ago. Good news is the attachments are already a part of the packaging. No need to buy them separately.

    I'm having high vibrations on the corden one. I know it's time to change the bearings, but, most likely, to get this one once it is made available in my country.

    Can you make a video comparing all 3 models? Maybe even the new 4v version too?

  • @memutu
    @memutu Год назад +1

    I like the fact that it doesn't stalls easily as the green version specially at low speeds, also the removable battery is a welcomed plus. I might sell tge proxxons and also the enoying green dingus vibrator :-)

    Thank you. Finally with removeable battery and brushless.
    With the attachments, that’s a pity.
    How loud is it compared to its predecessors and how much stroke does it have, how is the concentricity?

    • @icku
      @icku  Год назад +1

      Same loudness i would say. What do you mean by stroke and concentricity?

      @@icku Thank you very much. Well, how nicely does the spindle turn? For example, when you cut something with the cutting wheel, does the cutting wheel lie permanently on the material you are cutting, or does it jump due to the imbalance and asymmetry of the spindle? How strongly does the whole device vibrate? If the spindle and motor are balanced and running smoothly, vibrations should be minimal. Hope this is a little bit more clear.

    Has the new model PPFBSA 12 A1 shaft made from brass too? like The PFBS 12 B2?

      @icku  Месяц назад

      Sure you can. And even the 5Ah. But they are heavier and cumbersome for such a small tool.

    • @robot538
      @robot538 7 месяцев назад

      Mine already vibrates like crazy on the high speed. I think some of them have bad bearings from the factory..

    • @jordiribas2883
      @jordiribas2883 Год назад

      Until now, yes. I have the corded one and no problem with Dremel accessories. But it seems this new unit is not compatible.

    • @mordegar7384
      @mordegar7384 Год назад +5

      @@jordiribas2883 No, the new one is fully compatible with Dremel! I've tested the router attachment and the flexible shaft and both could be screwed to the Parkside tool. It seems to be using the same inch threading as the Dremel does.

    😂aaaaand again. Reason for new tool has been planted. 😂

  • @StepperByStepper
    @StepperByStepper Год назад +5

    The thing is that these attachements are useless as the normal green machine has too much flex in its head to use it as a mill. The new design has a much shorter shaft which decreases flex which is good, this also the reason thhey decreased the length of the accessory thread to increase stability from my point of view. Maybe thats the reason why they changed the thread type.

    What flexible shaft i need to buy for it? How do I know which thread to look for? Or will none at all work?
